Taste now powdery
Since Vaalia yogart changed the package to one with a lid that won't clip on and falls off, the taste has also changed from sweet and gelatinous to sweet and powdery like it's been made from powdered milk. Not the yogart I've always loved. Unless it changes back to the original, Vaalia has lost a loyal customer.

Valuable probiotic yoghurt
Why has the size of the yoghurt changed only 160g but the price is still the same as before ... marketing tricks.
All small yoghurts used to be the same quantity.

Yep.....Too Much Sugar
I'm being fair by giving it 3 stars. It is much too sweet and doesn't taste like a natural Yogurt. Consistency like any other commercial brand like Yoplait or Ski.
But 'each to their own'. i guess I'm too used to the taste and consistency of Jalna Greek Yogurt.

What's happened to Vaalia yoghurts!!
I've eaten Vaalia yoghurts (French vanilla) for years. Now Vaalia has decided to go Pro-biotic and completely ruined the taste! It's across their entire range, too. I won't be buying any more.

I like my vaalia
I've been eating vaalia for a long time now. I usually eat it in a smoothie, on its own, or with berries. Anyway I know when it's got the probiotics in it because it makes my tummy feel so good and it makes me fart. I think they only put the probiotics in it half the time. I usually buy one a week and if find its a good batch I'll go back and stock up. I wish they put it in all the time though.

In my opinion this is the best yorhurt of the lot
I have been using Vaalia Natural Yoghurt (unflavoured) for years and nothing else comes near it. Delicious. My daughter advised me to try it and I did and that was a long time ago now. Occasionally because of the regular price increases, no fault of Vaalia, I will buy another plain Greek yoghurt and regret it every time. If by chance there is no plain Vaalia I will take Vanilla. I have tried most of the flavours because my late husband like flavoured yoghurt and they are all natural tasting and smooth as custard. I use the plain yoghurt in my smoothie every day and use it instead of icecream or cream or custard on my dessert. Vaalia for me.

Best natural low fat yoghurt I've tasted in years
As a kid I used to visit family in Holland in the late fifties and sixties. Yoghurt was unheard of in the UK (where I lived), but I loved the yoghurt we had when staying with my Auntie in Holland.
Fast forward, and some take on yoghurt was introduced to the UK and wider afield. But it never tasted authentic.
I've since moved to Australia and bought a 900g carton of low fat Natural vaalia yoghurt recently - and, honestly, only because it was on offer.
It is the closest I have ever tasted to that yoghurt I enjoyed as a kid - the real thing.
I doubt I will buy another brand now; this is what I have been looking for for many, many years. Well done, Vaalia!

Reduce sugar
I like the taste of vaalia yoghurt but I would prefer much less sugar. I'm sure it could still taste good with less sugar and it would be much healthier.

It just tastes like sugar
I bought a four-pack of small vaalia passionfruit pots and couldn't finish one because the taste made me feel sick. I gave it to my boyfriend who also had the same reaction after half a spoonful. All I tasted was sugar and it overpowered anything else that could have been yoghurt or passionfruit. The consistency was thin. A waste of money.

Yummiest yogurt around!
This is my favourite brand of yoghurt. It doesn't have that sickly sweet taste that a lot of yogurts have. It is free from all things artificial and low in fat, so you know it is good for you. A bit more expensive than other brands but definitely worth it.
So tasty, great range of flavours,

This is a low fat yoghurt which I actually can enjoy. It is not so sweet as other yoghurts and has fruit pieces included. The serving sizes of one yoghurt are not to big and can be eaten as a dessert after lunch or just as a snack. Unfortunately they are a bit more pricey but honestly it is worth while. The yoghurt is available in every supermarket and comes in different flavours. I really like it as you can taste no artificial flavours and preservatives. You can buy this yoghurt in different sizes. I recommend the small packs for on the way and the big 1KG pack for the stack at home.

This yogurt is delicious and good for your tummy. I am not sure if I felt better for eating it, but it tasted really good. It didnt taste too sweet and the serving size is not the standard 200grams size even though you are paying like it was. The flavours are good and it would be good for customers if there were more diet ones. Be careful when you buy these because they can be high in sugar and then what's the point of eating it. Always check the nutrition label when buying any sort of yoghurt, that's why I sometimes spend about 30minutes readi...Read more
ng everything. This is a really yummy tasting yoghurt which says its looking out for your inside with all the live bacteria in each tub. It is not a low sugar type unless you buy those specially marked ones. My favourite is the vanilla blueberry, which is so creamy and yummy. I can sit back and enjoy a snack without feeling too guilty. A bit more low sugar would be great because that's what really matters. Theres so point in eating yoghurt to be healthy if its full of sugar.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great tasting yoghurt that makes you feel good when you eat it. The texture is quite creamy and flavour is quite good considering it is low fat. The only thing I have found is that I cannot always get my favourite flavours in store. The other thing is the 4 packs come in a combo of flavours so if you dont like the other flavour it can be wasteful. It is a little bit more expensive than other brands but I think its worth paying that little bit extra for quality.
Smaller tub multi-packs, great, healthy yoghurt
Price, cannot always find the flavours/combinations you want

Noce yogurt - more flavours and available in all sizes/packs would be better. I think they have recently started selling the single one serve packs which is much handier than 4 packs and the big tubs when you want to try a new flavour.
Great taste and not too bad in the low calroie yogurt varieties. I like the fact they are slightly smaller in the packs. 200g of yogurt is often too big and gets thrown out.
The only problem I have with this brand is the way they package the flavours. You can only buy certain flavours in certain sizes. Very annoying . i thought this was just coles only stockign certain sizes but seems the same everywhere.

Excellent
I purchased my first tub of Vaalia Low Fat Yoghurt this week simply to aquire 40 Franklins bonus points and was most pleasantly surprised. It is full of fresh fruit chunks. This yoghurt needs no additions such as fruit salad. Vaalia Low Fat is little filling meal in itself. The container is solid, not bendy like so many yoghurts so doesn't risk being crushed when transported. The thick foil seal ensures freshness and the top plastic lid ensures good refridgeration storage until it is all eaten. The larger kilo tubs are an economical buy an...Read more
d I can highly recommend the 'Apricot, Mango, Peach' flavour. No nasty artificial flavour additions or sweeteners as so many 'low fat' products have. As someone who normally would avoid 'low fat' anything, I would highly recommend this yoghurt; it is so thick and tasty one would never know it was actually 'low fat'. Thick & luscious. Creamy. Full of fruit chunks! A nice 'tang' on the tongue. Not too sweet. Packaging label needs tweaking; a bit austere and a little reminiscent of hospital labels, or similar, so not very attractive to the eye.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Vaalia's Yoghurts are a nice tasting, healthy yoghurt that come in a wide variety of flavours and sizes. One of its main selling points is that it contains a large amount of beneficial bacteria that is good for your digestive system. Having tried it, I can say that it does have benefits although there are probably other yoghurts that are cheaper and just as good for you. Overall, they are quite nice though, so if you find them on special, give them a try.
Quite tasty. Healthy snack. Helps your digestive system.
A bit pricey so try and get it when it's on special

If it were not for the price I would definitely buy it in preference to others
Woolworths do not stock all the flavours which at times is frustrating.
Nice Yoghurt with exquisite taste
Like the small containers which make a perfect snack - just the right size.
Much more expensive than other comparable brands
Unavailibility of all flavours in the major supermarkets

I live in Victoria, so my supermarket choices are Coles or woolies, do Coles stock a better variety than woolies please?

I live in NSW .. more recently I am unable to obtain Luscious Berries Flavour in either Woolies or Coles ... which happens to be the only one I like.
The others are over sweet.
