The Snap Ultra is comfortable and fine in parent facing mode, but difficult to fold when in forward facing position. You can still take the seat off and fold the base separately (inconvenient, I find, because you need to find somewhere to put the seat while folding the frame -- especially awkward in the rain), but folding as one unit is difficult and the folded pram is a cumbersome one metre plus long. Unfolding can be equally difficult because the wheels don't always snap into position, so you need to twist round and kick the front wheels. I f...
Read moreell backwards once when kicking so I don't recommend it! It's a surprisingly ill-thought out design and means the pram is really only suitable - if you value convenience and ease-of-use - for six months, or until you're ready to move bub forward facing.- 7 reviews

It's all good until a break failure and we had to stop our travel.
The pram is light, easy to maneuver and can carry enough baby essentials... In other words, near perfect.
But, there seems always a but, the break design sucks. We were stranded at Sydney Central station because the breaks broke down. Though hard, I still managed to get some tools to try fixing the breaks. It was soon turned out to be missing impossible. The whole design was a disaster I have to say. They used springs to pop out latches into the holes on the wheels to enga...
Read morege the break, no problems here. The real problem was how they retract the breaks: steel cables were used to retract latches without any protection at all. So each when the breaks are engaged/released, the cables chafe withe cable tube. So eventually the cables will worn out and oops, you are stranded. There is no way to fix it yourself and you'll have to get a new break assembly.Contacted customer support and the replacement part is already on the way. Super fast response. Though I was not happy with the product, but I'm more than satisfied with your customer service. Nonthel...

You can’t ask much more for this price. I’m very happy that we managed to find a pram that wasn’t too expensive and at the same time was stylish, light to lift and easy to maneuver. It’s quite easy to fold/unfold as well, doesn’t become super small but it’s small enough to fit in our small car. I also like the size of the basket underneath. We didn’t want to buy the bassinet as it was another $200+ to use it only for a few months and would have taken too much space in my tiny house. So this pram was a great option because the seat can be reclin...
Read moreed and she would lie flat, which is very important for her back now that she is a newborn. We purchased a standard bassinet mattress for about $30 that we have insert in the pram, so we have kind of created our own bassinet with a fraction of the cost and without having a bulk item around the house.
Very lightweight, easy to fold and unfold to carry. Very easy to maneuver and safe. Carrier at the bottom was very useful. Only one negative was the baby cannot sit upright and need to improvise so would not slide back. Happy with the the quality. And I have recommended this product to my friends.

It's easy to use, light, gets the job done. Affordable, not cheap, but affordable.
Once fully loaded with my two boys it's kind of hard going pushing around & I must say I hardly use it. Ended up using my carrier & cheap stroller because I refused to buy another pram.
Just not practical for everyday use. I only use on big day trips now.

I was searching pram for 3 months. Did not want to spend much on it, wanted stylish and convenient. As well i had a very small car that time. I liked this pram as soon a saw it in a catalog. But the shop had to order that color. So we waited 1 month.
The pram is suitable from 0 age (not like snap 4 where bassinet has "flexure" in reclined position). It's only 2 piece of pram where bassinet transfer into stroller with one move.
I know couple other mothers who purchased this pram and everyone is happy about it.
My daughter now is 2 years old and we still use this pram. I used to travel with this pram in airports 3 times .
Purchased for 475$

We love this pram! After going through multiple prams that just didn't seem to work well, we found this pram and it had nearly all the features we wanted in a pram! The only downfall I would say about the pram is the storage underneath, it's flimsy and broke within the first 3 months of using it. Other then that though I highly recommend this pram! Folds down nicely, easy to push, easy to assemble.

We purchased the tailor-made and its just gorgeous, it looks like a quite expensive pram (but its not!) we upgraded the wheels to tyres for an extra $120 and they are just great as well as choosing a capsule that had attachments available for the pram. Its awesome how it goes almost flat and has the foot muff to practically make it a bassinet for newborns. Easy to fold and steer with one hand while being super light weight. Highly recommend!

I have 3 prams but this one is the best! I hesitated to buy the original ones because of the colours even though the specs were great and what we were after but since I saw the tailormade denim one, bought it traight away. Seats can be facing both, reclining perfect, can be a bassinet, very breathable, huge storage, very easy to steer with one hand, light, can go on rough roads, no need sunshade cover etc. I can't fault anything. This stroller is just perfect for me.

Great steering it is easily manouvered around shopping aisles and public transport. It also folds nice and compact and is light weight compared to other prams I have used. My 15 month old loves his Valco Snap ultra he sleeps in it for long walks as the pram fully reclines.

This pram is amazing. I upgraded from a steelcraft, due to a wrist injury, i needed something that was easy and light to fold and lift. You do need two hands to fold, but that didnt bother me. It is super smooth when you push it.
Definitely recommend this one!!

It is easy to maneuver, fold, unfold and carry. It was the most lightweight Pram available with reversible seat when we shopped around . But often times I have wished that the break was somewhere near the handle as it becomes difficult while traveling on an escalator to find the break with foot

Word of mouth from friends for this pram has been great so we decided to give it a go. We have loved using it for the past 5 months - love it for its light weight (think it's one of the lightest on the market without compromising helpful features). It's very easy to turn around too, as a first time mom, I could hold baby in one hand and push with the other - very convenient at grocery shopping! It's also very easy to fold and unfold. We have a small hatchback car and it still fits perfectly in the boot.

Pram is easy to put together and operate, the pram can become pretty compact which is what you are looking for in a double pram. Pram is easy to maneuver so it's good for getting out and about. My favourite feature is being able to change the seating so the babies can face in different directions

Have been using this pram for our newborn for the past 8 weeks and we love it. It's lightweight and easy to pack and unpack into the car. Just cleaned and washed the fabric after a dusty camping trip and it was dry after half a day. It's very comfortable for baby as it reclines almost flat and easy to strap her in once you understand the system. We have the mocha tailormade and it looks great too. Great quality at a decent affordable price.

I started with a very heavy pram and could not be bother to go out of the house. Then I looked for the lightest pram on the market and this one came up and it was a game changer. I was much more happy to go out and about. It's really easy to stir and as sturdy as the heavy pram! Price tag is very reasonnable as well.
Purchased Valco Snap Ultra Tailormade from Baby Bounce and once fixed, I realised the pram can't recline, it can only be locked at angle number 1. What's the point of having number 1,2 and 3 indicated there then? Only good thing about this is it is lightweight. Definitely going back to shop to enquire about this!

Love my Valco Baby Snap Ultra (Tailormade Demin). Before I bought this I had never heard of Valco Baby but am glad that I bought it to support Australia brands. It is a no fuss pram but with all the features I needed from newborn to now so far. Light weight and lots of storage space are the two best features. Other great features are: forward and back facing, easy to manoeuvre, reclines flat, can fit a tall toddler easily

Read moreuire two hands. Almost 2 years on, I still use it every day, my daughter still does her long day naps in her pram, calls it 'nice pram' and it still looks brand new. It is a bit big, and people looking for a zippier small footprint pram won't want this but I like it as it fits a lot of things in the storage basket and is very comfortable for the child. The only downside is that it does not have suspension but this didn't bother my daughter at all, the bumps probably sent her to sleep quicker during nap times! Oh yes, and the fact that it has the numbers on a dial on the side which made me think that I could put the seat more upright but it doesn't actually do that (the numbers were for another model apparently). That said, my toddler doesn't mind it being not completely upright and if she wants to sit up more just does so holding onto the cross bar.- 6 reviews
As it says in its product name, it's a snap ultra and that's exactly it is. It's easy to use, and you can fold and unfold it with just a snap. Me and my husband love this because it's lightweight 5kg and it's not that expensive! We bought a steel craft before and it was so heavy and bulky we gave up on it. This Valco snap is a lifesaver.
Have used the pram for four months and haven't had any major issues. It's quite narrow and is easy to maneuver, quality of fabric is great, the seatbelt is easy to put together, large storage basket.
Our pram has been a little difficult to fold onto itself - with the buttons being hard to press, however hopefully in time it becomes easier.
Lightweight and unfolding is very easy.
We've been using this pram for four months and I love it. It's narrow enough to manoeuvre through shopping centres and cafes but sturdy enough to handle rough terrain at the park. The basket is a great size and the canopy is fantastic. My only complaint is that when you fold it with the seat, it doesn't really lock into place and is still quite bulky. This has only been a problem when we've taken it on planes though - it's fine to fit in the car and folds flat without the seat.

After looking around for ages trying to find a compact pram to fit in my Mazda 3 hatchback I came across the snap ultra. It's light weight, easy to fold and easy to steer. Plenty of storage with a large storage basket underneath and multiple pockets in the boot cover. The large canopy is perfect for all types of weather. I have used this pram since my bay was a newborn without the bassinet and he loves it, he is now 3 months old. The only thing I don't like about it is that you can't hang anything from the handle as it all just slides straight down. Overall an excellent pram!

PROs: Strong build quality which makes it pretty heavy around 11kg, easy to manoeuvre, suitable for infant as young as 1 month old to 5 years old kid, big compartment underneath the seat which can support up to 5kg, seat can be changed to two positions: front facing or facing you.
CONs: Quite heavy, unable to fold and unfold it with single hand, difficult to carry though it has a strap for you to carry, bulky even after folded, not easy to change the seating position.

I love this pram...why?
- super light weight - great for mums who have cesarean or birth injury
- baby can forward or rear face
- lies completely flat so suitable for newborn
- the sun shade is the biggest I have seen - totally awesome for nasty Australian UV
- not the smallest fold but can fit in i30 boot
- basket is big and easy to access
- comes with nice boot cover which has handy compartments for phone/keys
- it is so much cheaper than similar prams - I got the tailormade and I love it
