Hi I recently bought a Vitamix 750 and as I live in Mallorca and there are no dealers here I bought it from Amazon Spain. The problem is that all the instructions, recipe book and DVD are in German. I'm a bit disappointed and would really like to get every thing in English. Also I'm not sure if I can make nut butters in it or if I need an additional jug/blades, any help???

Hi
My husband makes loads of hummus etc. It drives him crazy getting it out and having to stop and stir it around. I would like a blender that does pastries and nuts. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Please read my review for the Omniblend V. Do you have a Vitamix that will grind up all nuts and seeds to a butter with minimal or no stirring, no leaking, no unusual chemical odors, and is reliable and long-lasting?

Hi James, thanks for your question. The Vitamix easily grinds nuts and seeds to a butter and can also be used to make nut flours.

We do recommend using the tamper to push down the butter into the blades when the butter starts to firm up for the smoothest result. Our BPA-free jugs don't leak and our machines carry a 7 year warranty although the blades in our containers never need sharpening. They are actually dull hammermill blades designed to pulverise, not slice.

You may find on the first few uses that the machine will emit a 'burning smell' or electrical odour. Think of it as 'new car smell'. Once you've taken your machine for a few test drives (or blends), you'll find the smell will fade entirely.

We hope this helps to answer some of your questions. If you'd like to speak to one of our customer service representatives for any further detail, please send us a private message and we can put you in touch with them.

Happy Blending! Vitamix.

when you say "all full-size household containers" is this including the, Professional Series 750?

Hi Tricia,

Thanks so much for your question. It's great to not only be able to assist yourself, but the wider Vitamix community.

In regards to our "full-size household containers", the Professional Series 750 machine has a full size jug which is 2lt. This jug is also low profile so it will fit under most counter tops. As part of the G-Series, the Professional Series 300 also fits this low profile 2lt container.

Our other machines in the C-Series, such as the Total Nutrition Center & Professional Series 500, fit the classic container which is also 2lt and full-sized, but it is taller and not as wide as the low profile container.

I hope this helps, have a look here for more information: https://www.vitamix.com.au/shop/Containers

Warm regards,
VM

I've read a lot of reviews about your vitamix, have you fixed the problem with the specks coming off the jugs? I'm trying to convince myself in purchasing the 750 model.
Also, could you tell me where would be the best place to buy one (if that's what I decide) at the best affordable price.

Hi Helen,

Great question!

As of August 11, 2015, all full-size household containers coming off our production line contain a new seal that addresses the black speck issue.

In regards to the Professional Series 750, in April 2015 it was awarded "Best Performer" by Choice. It's five pre-programmed settings make blending super easy for Smoothies, Hot Soups, Frozen Desserts, Purées, and the fifth automated Self-Cleaning program is just heaven!

The Professional Series 750 also has a much quieter motor despite it being more powerful with a 2.2-peak horsepower, ensuring it can blend the toughest ingredients.

The best place to purchase the Professional Series 750 depends on your location. Stockists include Myer, David Jones & other premium appliance retailers. Head to our website to find out where your nearest stockist is: https://www.vitamix.com.au/Where-To-Buy

Thanks,
VM
