The book has good inscriptions on how to pull things apart for cleaning
If you don't have a user manual they are available on the Westinghouse website with details on how to remove and clean the glass. I have done this and it's quite easy to do.

Once again, the clock is showing the incorrect time. I have tried everything and cannot get it on the correct time. Your youtube vid showing how to use this oven does not show how to set the time.
Could someone assist please?

The way I set the time on my oven is to cycle the mode button until it comes around to the clock symbol on the right hand side at the top. Then simply use the + and - symbols to move forward or back thus setting the clock to the required time.
Thankyou. My daughter finally worked that out and it is now working ok. But the instructions in the manual are totally different, and completely inaccurate to the point of ridiculous. Ah well....

Hi, replacing my old oven with this one hopefully- my old one has a preignition glow light for ignition which has been replaced 3 times now, so I’m wondering if this is the same, prefer that it isn’t
1 answer
Hi Heather No our old Westinghouse oven had that as well but this one has a piezo igniter which is a lot faster and should be more reliable over time.

so confused. how do i change the clock? when i get the flashing clock sign, i press the +/_ buttons only to hear a beeping sound. Now i have no idea if i have set the oven to come on by itself. No instruction manual came with it and the internet tells me to press +/_ buttons.

When you set the mode to clock then it should present you the control to change the time
with the + and - signs. If that’s not the case if your oven is still under warranty raise it with Westinghouse
Hi Jules, it sounds like your doing it right.
I press the MODE button (3times) till the CLOCK indicator light flashes.
Then I press the + or - to adjust the time.
Then I do nothing and it goes back to the normal mode with the new time displayed.
Just a thought. Switch off the power at the plug, wait a minute or two, and turn back on.
This might reset the unit and try again.
Good luck.

Hi I need to know if the Westinghouse WVG613S or WVG615S only comes with an electric Grill, or is the whole oven gas, and therefore has a gas grill and not electric grill? Only interested in Gas Oven as must be used on LPG.

Hi, just brought wvg615slp. When using the oven you can hear the piezo igniter clicking every 10minutes or so. When the oven is on. Is this normal.
Cheers dan

Hi Dan, This is not my experience. May need to make a call and let them know. Good luck.

Hi Dan, I also didn't experience that. When you call you should keep your receipt. Good luck.
Hi Dan, ours also does this. I think it is just the oven thermometer kicking in to adjust the temperature.

We bought a new Westinghouse WVEP 618 with telescopic runners so the racks stay firm when extended. Trouble is when I open the
oven when the fan is on the racks come sliding out by themselves. This is quite dangerous when placing food in or out of the oven. I have already burnt myself. We have checked oven level and it seems ok. Has anyone else got this big problem with telescopic runners? What should I do?

Hi Sue
Did you ever solve this issue? I have the same problem with my oven. I've put up with it for two years and, while I see their advantage, I am so frustrated by them coming out on their own that I am now about to remove the runners completely.
Hi Elizabeth,
Sorry you are having the same problem.
No the issue has not been solved at all, despite the installer coming out and seeing what he could do and someone from Winnings also coming out and advising.
In the end I was told it would just settle down over time.
It is now been installed for well over a year and the problem is exactly the same.
Still just as dangerous due to how hot the runners get and the fact they come out every time the oven door is opened even when nothing is on them.
I really need to contact Westinghouse/Electrolux again!

Looking at buying a house that has a Nobel NF60 SS/1 oven and want to be able to replace it with a Westinghouse wall oven I currently have a 668 and a 659 Westinghouse in my kitchen and have used Westinghouse ovens since early 1970. Question is : would a Westinghouse fit in the hole that the Nobel comes out of without having to make the hole bigger. I can't find size specifications for the Nobel
1 answer
My electrician has recommended that I purchase the same brand so that it will fit in the same hole without having to make any adjustments. I am replacing my Westinghouse with same and he said that the shape on the newer models has been the same for twenty odd years. Hope this helps.

Does this model have a child lock? Can you tell me how to enable it? I have a similar model 616S and the instructions in the manual don't work. As well as this, the support staff have been unable to help me.
3 answers
My model definitely don't have a child lock unfortunately. Sorry can't help you there.
It should be the clock and the + buttons pushed until it says SAFE
If you need a child lock, I could not recommend this oven. The front plate above the door heats up to a VERY high temperature, as do the knobs because of the escaping heat out the top of the door. They would definitely be a safety hazard for children. I don't know how this gets past any sort of safety check...

I need directions on how to use the oven please. There are 4 modes - cook time, end time, timer and clock. The window is flashing with red markers beside the Cook time and End time. I have moved into this new house ( for me ) and can't get the oven to turn on. Nor can I set the time on the oven. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you. My email address is [email protected]

Hi
One time there was a power failure and it was flashing red. we just press the mode and it went. Then you can turn the oven to fan bake or grill or etc. and the other dial to the temperature you need. If you have trouble better go and visit a place that sell them and ask the question
hope this would help
