Excellent service and quality as always
I live in Melbourne, Australia & ordered 2x merino/cashmere cardigans on 18/4, they arrived in perfect condition (Customs had torn open the bag & not re-sealed it which was annoying) today 30/4, how's that for Service! Even in this Covid-19 time we're living in the time from dispatch to delivery is seamless.
The quality is superb, I've been buying from Woolovers for years & their attention to detail is second to none.
Well done Woolovers, keep up this wonderful service!

Black ban China
I am in the process of throwing out all of my clothes 'made in China' and will make my own rather than buy from China. Was so disappointed to find 'Woolovers' from England is actually manufactured in China. Out they go.

What a waste of paper has been used in this WoolOvers glossy magazine.
Nowhere in this glossy WoolOvers magazine entitled NORDIC NIGHTS does it tell the reader where the garments are made. After extensive research I was able to find out that the garments are made in China and that is a big disappointment.

Mysterious holes appeared
I am so disappointed that everyone of my Wool Over cardigans have had mysterious holes appear but not one other of my (numerous brands) of woolen cardigans have.
Definitely not silverfish

Lucky Me
Sorry to read of some unfortunate examples as products expensive.
Thank you to the person who donated this lovely Arran zip up polo neck jumper to a local charity. In brand new condition and excellent for cool morning walk and well worth the extra price tag.

Expected quality cashmere/merino. Advertised as old established BRITISH company but goods from CHINA.Absolute rubbish. Should have read all the negative reviews.Would like a refund. False advertising with excessive profit for inferior goods.

Quality is questionable
Easy to navigate store but a lot of 'out of stock' indicators on the product range.
I purchased a roll neck merino jumper but am very unhappy with its quality. Its a wafer thin texture and the jumper started getting little holes in it a few weeks after purchase.

Quality has declined badly
Purchased a navy Aran cardigan ($115) and a navy Aran throw rug ($99) recently and was shocked by the steep drop in quality of Woolovers knits! I wore the cardigan for a short walk to the shops on an 18 degree Celsius day and the air just came straight through and I was really cold! My daughter ordered exactly the same Cardi two years ago and it’s identical in every way except hers is lovely and dense and thick and she finds it incredibly warm...I’m so sad about the drop in quality. They’ll be making much more profit but no more purchases from our household I’m afraid and we’ve bought many garments there in the past.

Terrible
Forgot to scan some items got very offended!! Human
do make mistakes sometimes it's not a big deal and got banned from the store. I am regular customer and shop a lot in wools but if this is how they treat customer it's very bad! she questioned on my Visa status and she was very racists. She has no right to get so personal and even the security guard was very rude working 19/012019 around 12:00 pm I don't know his name. When I tried to explain the situation they had a wrong perspective about me which was very disappointing I would rather go other wools store rather then Auburn for being so disrespectful!!!

Good selection and fast delivery, natural fibres
Was looking for natural fibres and neutral style. So far I got dresses, t shirts, silk-cotton, cashmere-cotton tops in various colours and am happy with fit.
Shipping time was fast, from Australia. Prices were good if waiting for sales. I usually buy enough for free shipping.
Am just happy to get natural fibres in a variety of colours, unlike what I can get in shops here.
No problems with anything, so can't comment on after sales service issues, but will update if anything happens.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
I made my order online for my grand father over a month ago, I received no email saying when the delivery left the warehouse and when I emailed them I received no reply ! There contact number is NEVER available as well so I had no idea what was going on. Any way, the package came like a month later with only ONE vest. I didn’t get any email notifying me of this but In the package it stated that the other vest was unavailable but yet they already charged my grandpa for TWO. I’ve emailed them again and still NO REPLY.
DONT SHOP HERE. Very dodgy and appalling customer service ! Never again !

Items are good but postage costs add up.
I was pleased with my 1st purchase. The 2nd purchase I somehow chose the wrong colour. The phone number always goes to an answering machine so I didn't get through to anyone to change my order in time and had to send it back. They did refund promptly and I like the products but being -$16 in postage costs with nothing to show for it means I won't be buying from them again.

Their in the bin!!!
I have purchased 9 cardigans from Woolovers over 4 purchases
I have 3 left!! the rest are in the bin... I had the most problems with the silk/cotton cardigan where all 4 of them came apart around the neck area, I hand wash only all my knitwear so to me this was a design fault.
I sent an email with photos over 2 years ago and never received a reply... I then ordered one more to see if maybe it was a bad batch but the same happened again within a short time. Busy with life i let it slide and just recently thought i would contact them to report ...Read more

Beware! This is not an Australian company and exchanges will cost you dearly
I conducted an online purchase for a 100% Cotton Cardigan from www.woolovers.com.au site, for my elderly mother, purchase reference R6307520 on 21/09/2017, costing $99.00. I thought I was ordering it from an Australian company, but it turned out, my purchase was re-directed to their UK company, and thus the cardigan was being sent from the United Kingdom. On receipt of the cardigan, it was discovered it was too big, and we needed the next size down. We re-packaged the cardigan and used the exchange sticker and customs sticker supplied, but w...Read more
hen we went to post it at Australia Post, we were charged $56.00. Why? Because it is in fact an overseas company and we had to post it back to England for an exchange. So the cardigan ended up costing me $155.00. If you are thinking of purchasing from this company, beware! It will cost you dearly should you wish to return or exchange the item you purchased.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Down hill slide
I have been a customer for at least ten years. The service, quality and pricing was excellent but now the website is poor, the selection much reduced and most importantly the prices have doubled. For these reasons I will no longer be a customer unless they revert to their former format and prices.

Very poor customer service
I ordered three XL WoolOver jumpers and when they came they compared really small to other identical WoolOvers jumpers of the same size that I bought a couple years back. I called customer service and was told that if I wanted to exchange of a different size I would have to pay the shipping fee. I am very displeased.

Love Woolovers
Lovely quality and materials. I keep coming back. I have bought long cashmere merino cardigans and short cropped cashmere cardigan. The cashmere is soft, lightweight and enveloping. It feels very soft and luxurious. nice colours, true to size. I am 181cm tall, medium build and buy size large to get a nice fit. I don't like baggy things. Really love woolovers.

Fantastic service and great quality products
I have purchased 4 Aran coatigans from Woolovers. Two for myself and two for my mother. All have arrived within the specified time. The sizing is very accurate, I've had no problems with any of my orders! The quality is excellent and they are so warm! If I have a query I always receive a very prompt reply.
They also have fantastic sales, I'll always be buying my knitwear from Woolovers!
Thank you Woolovers

Aren't the wool over cardigans/jumpers etc made in UK, then sent in bulk container loads to Sydney, where they are then mailed to Australian buyers ???
1 answer
Hi Ray,
I understand that yes the products are made in the UK and sent over.
This prompted me to have a look at their labels as I expected "Made in England or UK" . All I found was their trade name. .com website address and washing instructions etc. on their garments.
Perhaps you might want to check with this company yourself.
Cheers,
Widge
