Do not use them for international removals!
The salesman was great at the start. Quick response to emails and a very fair price but when that was all approved and signed and money paid I was appointed a moving manager and trying to get information out of him was hard work. I'm not a stressful person but I like to be informed about my times and contacts where my things were getting shipped to. Now my things are in the Netherlands and the shipping company here is holding my belongings and going to start charging me storage fees because Wrigeways has not paid their bills. I now I ring Wrigeways and they put me through to accounts which can not be contacted. Absolutely disgusting!

Professional and friendly service. We have used Wridgways three times now for interstate moves from Victoria to QLD. We Highly recommend them. We wouldnt use anyone else to transport our belongings.

I will never engage WridgWays again!
I recently relocated interstate with Wridgways and deeply regret my decision to choose this company.
It has been 30 days since my relocation, some of my possessions are still missing and Wridgways are unable to locate them. I am waiting on a decent status update and no one will return my calls within the promised time frames.
I am now waiting for a response from the Australian General Manager.
I am honestly shocked by the treatment I have received. The lack of communication and disregard for customer service is appalling. They do not value small business and I loathed giving 1 star for this review.
I strongly urge others to seek relocation services from alternative companies.

Horrible! Do NOT use this company.
Do NOT use this company. Unprofessional, Liars, Untrustworthy, Unreliable and DO NOT buy insurance, they will not cover you.
My experience has been the most unpleasant ever out of any move I have made.
I move interstate, was quoted 1 week, and 4 weeks AFTER the quote my things arrived with NO explanation why it was late and I consistently called to ask for an update which, blame and responsibility was shifted around. I NEVER got a clear answer, still to this day they can not tell me why it took so long. - OK these things happen, I was j...Read more
ust happy to get my things. HOWEVER, Upon arrival of my belongings, I noticed that the fridge had what looked like Fist marks in the door, a few more dents and scratches. OK it still works. I then noticed that my desk has a crack along the side it did not have before the move. OK still stable. I then discover my brand new washing machine which luckily is still under warranty does not work correctly. And finally, My Smart TV that was in perfect working order before the move, I plugged in to turn on, I saw a flash of a shattered LCD screen, and then it turned off, never to be turn on again.2 comments

As per your advice I send a instant email to the [email protected] with all of the details included(and information from previous correspondence). In the company that I work for, we have levels of escalation, probably much like yours as the use of your term "Urgent Escalation". Where I work, our Urgent Escalation has a turn around time of between 15 mins to 4 hours, depending on the situation. If we cant resolve the problem we advise the customer and will continue to work on it until an outcome is reached. We always acknowledge receipt of issues - especially if we are offering urgent escalation. Thus far, I have not received any confirmation of receipt of my email, I have had no further contact from your company - even after following the above advice. Once again, I am left disappointed, but sadly, not surprised. I understand Wridgways is a large company, but surely you must value customer service??? or maybe I am wrong to assume this. I keep giving the benefit of the doubt that I was just dealt a unfortunate situation from your company with the move, but more and more through this issue - and reading some of the other real comments, it seems that I am not alone and this situation is a common occurrence. Please see that the "Urgent Escalation" gets attended to. I am sure that there are people within your company, that have spend alot of time and pride building it, that would find some of these situations appalling. Maybe this is who you need to urgently escalate this matter too. I hope to receive a response soon. Regards, DavidSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Was a repeat customer, but they treated us like trash
I was a repeat customer with Wridgeways, I've used them twice before this time, and both times were perfect, but this time, it was absolutely disgusting. We moved from Brisbane to Melbourne, and it was a nightmare from the start.
Firstly, they started by refusing to pack some of our stuff, some of which was worth thousands of dollars, and we had to arrange with the local manager to get the packing team to actually pack these items. Then they did not finish packing on the first day so left it to the uplift crew on the second day, who took t...Read more

Don't do it
We were promised (and paid for, around $20,000) the world, for our Bangkok to QLD relocation. I couldn't be more disappointed and angry.
Firstly despite a very detailed survey and inventory, our stuff wouldn't fit in the allocated 40ft container resulting in a very significant additional cost. I'd heard rumours about boxes stuffed with paper in order to inflate volume but I wouldn't have believed it until I started unpacking boxes with 6 plates each wrapped in 30 sheets of paper.
Yesterday they left with a full shipping container of packagi...Read more

Moved contents of a 3 bedroom home from Alexander Hills to Coombabah. The 3 lads arrived on time. They got the job done with a minimum of fuss. I didn't have to do a thing....perfect!!

Great servive for the third time
I've had a fair bit of movement interstate in the last few years due to work. For each move, I've used Santa Fe Wridgways from TAS, QLD and VIC. I was worried initially to book services online, without a face to face contact. But I was proved wrong, with exceptional delivery service and a convenient, punctual time. The best part was that I had a designated person at Santa Fe Wridgways to call and check on my delivery. After my first experience, and given my trust in their freight services, I didn’t have to call. If you are looking for excellent customer service and cost-effective delivery, I would recommend Santa Fe Wridgways for your move.

Second time used and still happy
This is the second time i have used Santa Fe Wridgways going from Perth to Brisbane and returned 7 years later. On both occasions my uplift and delivery were both done on time with minimum of fuss, service i received before, during and after was first class and pleased to say no breakages on either move. Would be more than happy to use again and definitely would recommend to anyone thinking of moving.

Good
I moved from a 4-bedroom house in Perth to a 2 bedroom apartment in Sydney. The customer service is good, and the price is competitive. The only draw back is that one of my box is lost, and the insurance value is far less than it should be.

Wrigways -- Enablers of a nomadic lifestyle
Wrigways moved me from BRIS->MELB (this is the third time they have done this move for me now in five years!).
As always, no problems and very helpful.
Not the cheapest removalist option but certainly the best (and certainly also not the most expensive on the market).
Nothing broken. No delays. No surprises. I even changed the destination address (within the suburb) one day before delivery and there were no concerns!
If (when) I move again I will definitely be using them.

Great company, great people - 10 out of 10!
From the moment that I originally contacted Santa Fe Wridgways, I was confident of the professionalism and integrity of the company and its staff. My first contact was Andrew who arrived promptly to my home to provide a quote for removal. Tracey then took over with the arrangements to transport my furniture and effects from a large 3 bedroom unit in Brisbane to a small 2 bedroom unit in Melbourne. Paul, Daniel and Tony worked industrially all day in extremely hot weather to safely pack treasured antiques and personal effects. They were friendl...Read more
y and entertaining and nothing was too much trouble for them even though I had a lot of large, heavy and cumbersome items. My possessions were stored for approximately ten days, at no extra cost, as there was a time difference in my being able to move into my new home. Ben and Patrick very capably delivered and reassembled a number of furniture items, including beds, dressing tables and dressers/hutches. All items were delivered safely at the designated time in their original condition at a very reasonable and fair cost. My car was also safely delivered via Matt from Ceva, arranged through Santa Fe. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Santa Fe for any removal requirements. Impeccable service! Helen, an extremely satisfied and happy customer.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great Customer Service
My move wasnt that big as I had sold alot of stuff however it was enough of a move especially from QLD Gold Coast to Perth WA. I was happy with the level of customer service however slightly disappointed that my upholstered dining chairs werent wrapped and the TV box was quite worn and in tatters by the time we received it. No damage done to the TV however my chairs were damaged and the upholstery pilled. We are also missing a box of stuff which includes important paperwork which I still have not received any feedback or follow up about.

We would like to share our negative experience with #santafewridgways.
We recently moved several goods from Brisbane to NZ.
Approx 12 boxes, surfboards, guitars, camping gear etc.. (it was not a huge move)
During our 4 months moving process with the company we noticed the following..:
-massive turnover of staff (we changed 4 different agents in 3 months!)
-unable to reply to emails or returning phone calls promptly
-had to request a confirmation of our payment
-goods took a lot more than expected, approx more than 2 months to depart fr...Read more

They know what they are doing.
Moved a number of big boxes and a car from Perth to Sydney. A bit pricier than smaller local movers but totally worth it. Local offices in every city, quick and efficient communication between offices. Was a bit concerned when they first mentioned that they will be contracting CEVA for car transportation as this company is notoriously known for delayed deliveries but everything went quick and easy. Both pick up and delivery teams were very accommodating and easy to deal with. Hope won't be moving any time soon but if I need movers will certainly use these guys again.

Very disappointing. No regard for customer goods or property
Very disappointing. The team in Cairns should really look at who they are hiring. The staff I encountered were unprofessional, and all they cared about was getting me to sign off their paperwork on a job well done when this really wasn't the case.
All my furniture was dirty when I received them and they were careless, denting the wall in my house while moving.
They didn't come at the pre-arranged time even though this was specifically booked by their office the day before and I had work commitments. When told I was not yet available due t...Read more
