Breaks easily

published

The construction leaves a lot to be desired. The arm has broken in 2 places even though it was not roughly used. Could fix the first break and even after a month and being careful when putting on and taking off it broke at another spot. Sound was quite OK but not much good when you can't wear them.
Used only in the motorhome so hardly used because of Covid
It really is not fit for purpose.

JB HiFi - XCD products are crap

published

XCD Bluetooth headphones bought from JB HiFi.
Sound OK, seemingly good $ value, look nice.
However! Broken left arm within a few uses and right arm about to break too.
JB HiFi not helpful at all. No wonder they don't stock them anymore!
We've been deceived by a company that is trusted to select quality products.

Broken arm. My poor son thought it was his fault. He was devastated.

published

Left arm broken. Honestly thought my son wasn't careful enough but now can see its not his fault. Was a Christmas present. Not happy. They also hurt his ears and he is 8yrs old, so sizing is not great.

Same broken arm at the joint. Only lasted six weeks, should get longer than that. Disappointing as than we’re a birthday present. Won’t be buying Another XCD product anytime soon.

Do not buy these

published

I purchased two of these headsets form JB HiFi on 27 May 20 and both snapped on the left hand arm, in exactly the same place. JB refuse to give a refund or anything and said that this has never happened before. They obviously have not read the reviews below. The headphones sound is not too bad, however the quality and strength is terrible and this is a waste of money. Keep away and do not buy this brand.

Purchased in at JB Hi-Fi Retail Stores for $45.

Horrible

published

The headphones quality is alright and the 13 hour battery life is great. But they should last more than 4 weeks before breaking. The don't stretch that much and they need to be mad of something stronger than cheap plastics at the joints. They aren't that comfortable and they burn my ears. The charging cord also needs to be longer and the product doesn't come with a plug so i can't charge my headphones and phone at the same time witch got really annoying when they were both dead.

I wanted a set of headphones to use at work. But 4 weeks later, the housing broke. A replacement set, 2 weeks and now these have broken in the exact same place.

I will be asking for my money back now, no more XCD.

Failed after 1 month.

Sounds ok, but plastic build quality poor and the plastic around headband split leaving ear cup hanging.
JB HiFi would not replace so if you buy one, get it from somewhere with a decent returns policy.

Fits my ear comfortably.

published

It fits my ear perfectly, it has a foldable arm which is easier for me to put into my little bag, the sound quality is pretty good with a really powerful and strong bass which motivates me to do my work, there’s completely no wire which makes me feel so comfy and best for going to gym or just go running.
