Should be called feed the weeds..
It’s hopeless… 25 dollars one week later my clover, the most common annoying weed in Australia is looking fabulous thanks to feed the weeds. My grass has dead spots everywhere but thanks to the green clover it’s not all dead..
I say avoid and get targeted products or just thro some money in the toilet and sit back down.. I’m not gonna give it one star because I don’t think a product should be judged on stars alone so read the reviews and make up your own mind.. thanks..

Cannot extract more than half the chemical
Works well but after half the chemical has been dispensed, the remainder will not draw through the nozzel fitting . Continuing to sparay just waters the lawn . I have two half full/empty containers and no way of extracting the chemical .

Been using for years but problems.
I have used weed and feed for a long time. (At least 30 containers have been used in my experience). Read the instructions and the results are subtle but there. All I have to do is look at my neighbours front lawn vs mine - we both mow once a week, however I weed and feed a couple of times a year. His lawn is 60% weeds. Mine is not.
The problem I have consistently had is that the Venturi style dispenser is very unreliable. MANY times now I have done half the lawn to find I’ve simply watered it. I just used it now, and it wouldn’t feed chemical...
Read more at all. Interestingly, I found my expensive brass automatic cut off hose fitting flows water out perfectly however there is no suction on the end of the tube. A cheaper non cut off hose fitting worked - however I believe the suction chemical flow to be lower then normal. I have had previous packets where the inner tube has fallen off before I even got it home, and other packets - no matter what you do, will simply not feed/suck the chemical into the water stream. I end up getting one that works and refilling it from other packets. A royal pain in the backside. All in all, the spray head is by far the biggest let down of the product. It dispenses at different rates and often not at all. I’m now looking for a reusable/ refillable hose dispenser and will consider other products as I’m sick of wasting so much time trying to know if it’s sucking the chemical into the water stream or not. If your a lazy lawn person. Use this product to stop the weeds, be patient, the results are there, some tougher weeds can do with another application in a weeks time, and you can try spraying from more then one direction to get better coverage.Purchased in .

Nozzle problems
Like many of you, I had trouble with my connection, until I read these reviews. Now I know to lift the top off the nozzle (I used my car key to life it up) and it works great. You just have to make sure you aren't directionally challenged and spray it over yourself first. Hoping the results are good.
Purchased in at Porters Mitre 10 for $18.

As mentioned in an earlier review, anyone unable to get the weed and feed nozzle working will likely have one or both of the prongs still stuck in the air holes that are meant to be clear to allow the hose spray to distribute the product. Just pull out the offending prong(s) with pliers and away you go.

Weed remover
I sprayed this product over the front area that basically contains a vast number of weeds over 3 weeks ago and I have to agree that it is a VERY slow way to kill weeds. I'm thinking I might have to respray the areas to give it an extra boost. I've noticed only a few weeds slowing dying and that's about it. We'll see. I'm not sure if I'd recommend this product as yet.

Useability design failure on nozzle.
The 'useability' of the product is a complete nuisance.
The hose needs be connected, the (hard to open) clip lifted and then the water turned on.
It means the product is being delivered immediately at the tap, even though your area to spray may be a many metres away from the tap.!! Older nozzle assemblies had a finger hole to cover to allow either a water or product delivery, allowing the user to get where they needed before the application began. Was any 'user testing' ever done on this design?
The label indicates I can decant some product and use in a watering can - but the nozzle assembly is not easy to get off without tools.
The stuff does knock off the weeds well, just a pity about the package.

Finicky nozzle attachment
Updated review. Please make a better nozzle connector. The nozzle fits well on some attachments, but is far from fool proof. It took 3 hoses for me to find one that did not either pop off or back spray me as well as the lawn. I guess that it is hard to put a lot of money in the one use deposible part, the nozzle connector, but if you are unlucky, it can be annoying and time consuming.

Not sure
I also did quite a large area and not sure how big 200 sq m. is. Level on container hardly moved, when weed and feed exhausts is container empty or is it just water. There does not seem to be any odour. Had no problem with connection just not sure how mix work.

What volume of concentrate bindi killer do you add to hose on sprayer container please

What is the best hose connector to use with a 4L Yates Weed and Feed so that it doesn't pop off and spray water all over the place.
2. Can Yates colour the liquid so that we can see it coming out. (Seasol is brown and you can actually see it coming out with the water spray).
3. Can Yates please make the flip cap and on/off tap easier to operate. Near impossible for elderly people.
4. Does Yates have a concentrate that I can refill the bottle with. Seems a waste to throw a 4 litre bottle to landfill each time.
I just got set up to use this, following the instructions to the letter, and got a face full of liquid, the spay did not work ...water sprayed out in all directions, mainly up into my face...it sprayed out from all over the attachment ... unbelievably poor, didn't remotely look like the pics or video, ...thankfully I was wearing gloves and glasses but still got a face full!!!...did I just poison myself
