Cooks as good as charcoal
This is my first gas BBQ and I absolutely love it. Very strong burners, I've tried almost everything thing. Sausage, Kafta, chicken whole and skewers etc. I love the taste the iron cast grill leaves. Very similar to charcoal. I tried roasting a whole chicken but came out ok. Wouldn't use it as a oven only grilling
Purchased in November 2021 at Barbeques Galore.

Ziggy Twin Grill with Trolley/stand
I've owned the Ziggy Twin Grill for almost 12 months and rate it very high.
Heats up very quick to intense heat
Cooks with lid up or down ( learn how to do with it down its worth it)
Easy to clean
Good size for 2 adults 2 kids
We take it on caravan trips, easy to transport
Have the grill one side and hotplate the other works a treat
I store it in garage so no signs of corrosion to grill as others report
Purchased in April 2021.

Rust
I have a Webber bbq, and they are great for closed lid cooking. I bought a Ziegler and brown so I could use it as a lid open cooking. It is great, except the grill Rusts out very quickly. I had a new one for about 14 months, and the grill rusted out very quickly. I could not cook on it. I took the rusted grills to BBQ Galores where I had purchased it. They did not have any in stock. I had to pay a deposit to order new ones, it was not under warranty. It took about 8 weeks for the grill to arrive, they told me that there was a lot on order. I’ve...Read more
had my Webber for around just over 3 years. They just started to rust at that time on the grills. I took them into the place of purchase, and they called the manufacture, and they said they would replace the grills at NO cost. I will not buy a Ziegler again.Similar opinion? The Weber's best competition ...
I love cooking anything and everything on this BBQ. From breakfast to dinner and all in between, even cakes but I haven't tried that yet!
Heats up fast, cooks a great steak or piece of fish in not time at all.
Clean up is easy, just read the recommendations before you fire her up and you wont have an issue.
The trolley is convenient but not a necessity. Its cheap plastic but does hold extra plates and the tub at the front is handy to keep oil and BBQ tools in there.
It took me ages to choose between this or the Weber Q. I am happy with the decision as there is more options (like cooking with the top open) with the Ziggy.

We have had our Ziggy for awhile now and have cooked roasts, hot breakfast, meat and all have come out beautifully. This oven is HOT, very hard to keep it under 180 degrees so you definitely couldn't slightly slow cook anything. The twin grill is perfect size - big enough to feed meat for 6 people but small enough to transport. We got the oven tray rack which is a great accessory when the food is done put it on there, shut the lid and your food will stay warm for a little while. Easy to clean.

well designed BBQ
All the BBQ functions are great and good design overall. The flame could be stronger IMHO. The only drawback for us is the trivet option (which is why we bought it) and the flame is too far from the frying pan or pot to really heat efficiently .We didn't buy the trolley, just as easy to put it on a side table or rolling cart that we owned already.

Ok- nothing fantastic
Bought this with trolley. The trolley is cheap and tacky. The leg braces are designed by an idiot. When you assemble it you will see what I mean. Everything about the trolley is tacky but still fit for purpose. The hot plate does not retain temperature so very little sizzle. If you use all the surface area of the hot plate then the temperature drops and then it is hard to get a sear- meat stews a bit. Also note that there is an option to use one grill plate and one hot plate. Instructions tell you not to use two hot plates.
Poor performer for the price.

The perfect size for home or travel
A replacement for our old baby q, this is amazing, on the first day we cooked scones then a bbq dinner of steak and sausages with onions and mushies on the side with perfect results. Cook well with the lid up or down and easy to clean, pricey but worth it

Like it, but one big disappointment
Food cooks great as a grill, but I was very disappointed with the wok burner/rack. The rack made specifically to use for the wok is too high, takes forever to heat up. I bought this in the hope that I can cook oily food outside but it hasn’t really worked out unless Z&B come up with a new rack that would hold the wok/pan closer to the heat.

Handy BBQ
We love our Ziegler & Brown twin grill barbecue, which we use often as it is so handy and easy to use. My husband loves cooking on it and finds it very easy to clean. Because of its size it sits on our patio ready for the summer family barbecues. We also bought the cover and cart.

Simply fantastic so easy to use and clean
Fish, veggie bread and meat all cook well. I got a grill and plate for different styles of cooking. It’s great to cook meat on low with lid down. Cooks entire pice in an even manner. Uses very little gas and takes up no space at all sitting on my balcony table

Love the size
The size is not too big so that i can move around the bbq grill around from the kitchen to the rooftop, it’s not easy to over cook meat as there’s a function which is direct and indirect cook.
It’s easy to clean and it grills food perfectly, especially when i roast meat.
But one of the thing is the burner, it’s so low which makes it hard to fried egg etc.

Well worth the price
was talked out of buying a Webber, Beef Eater & Alfresco for this BBQ. I have limited space on my balcony and did not want a overly smoky BBQ. So i bought this unit a bit unsure at first as the add on trailer was rubbish but was talked into it but the sales person. Took it home and absolutely fell in love. Honestly does not use to much LPG which is a life saver cause constantly changing it would be such a pain (8 stories up) cooks the meat to perfection. the only down side is that its a bit hard to clean. Other wise its great

We love our Ziggy
I've just purchased a Ziggy for my husband for Father's Day. I got the tripple grill in red and this is a kind of BBQ that we don't usually buy. Thought I'd give it a go as they are offering a 2 week satisfaction guarantee. Don't like it, you can take it back!!!
Love the fact that we can put the BBQ plates in the dishwasher. The pull down hood has a temp gage and keeps a very even temperature which is usually hard with a BBQ. Perfect for the Sunday roast. I like the reversible grille/flat plate which we will add to, as that's what we prefer.
I love the colour and it's easy to clean and that's what you want in a BBQ.
So far, so good

Not happy with my Ziegler
After having the Ziggy two burners for 3 months, one of the burners get always block, one of the lightning buttons falls and the thermometer gets water inside when is damp and gets some water when I clean it, went to bbq galore and they told me that the lighting of the burners gets block very easily, they told me how to clear it and I have to take the burners out, not a very easy fixing if they get block very easy like they told me, about the lighting button and the thermometer they will have to order and they will ring me when they have them i...Read more
n the shop to go and pick them up, after two months waiting I only have the lighting button and still waiting for a new thermometer. I bought this bbq because all the good reviews it have, I was going to buy a Webber, looks like I’m the only one with problems reading the reviews, but yes not happy a told and after two months I’m still waiting.Similar opinion? Excellent!!
We absolutely LOVE our Ziggy! We actually cook all of our meat on it even at home. Weve tried other barbecues but this is by far the best as it gets really hot, ideal for searing and charring. The temperature regulator is wonderful also which allows us to roast and bake in it with excellent results. Would never use another barbecue.

More options than a weber
Easy choice over a weber. We wanted some th ing for the two of us and extra space for entertaining. Love the twin grill option. Just turn on one side for small amounts. Does beautiful roasts. Easy to clean and has lots of cheaper accessories for pizzas and plates (rather than grill) etc. Love the open lid cooking option too.

Wouldnt be without it
We recently upgraded to the Ziegler from a Weber Baby Q. I find the Ziegler fantastic. It is easy to fire up, with the flame thrower ignition making it easy. We have the add on trolley, which provides a stable home for the bbq, and allows us to take it away camping. We purchased the half hot plate for the bbq, which provides the best of both worlds, and gives plenty of room for cooking for the entire family. Have not looked back since purchasing.
