Zovirax InvisiSeal is best treatment for cold sores...
I have suffered from cold sores for the past 50+ years and these patches are the best treatment I have ever used. If you catch them early - when the spot begins to tingle - and centre the spot under the patch, the pain and spread of the virus is controlled, and I can even wear lipstick and makeup over the patch without looking like something waiting for Halloween, and they clear up quite quickly. Disappointed these patches are now hard to locate.

Easy to use and invisible
I find these work way better than any creams. I use both these and compeed if I have a cold sore but this is by far superior and I'm sad it's hard to get. Compeed is fine but not as easy to apply and also not as "invisible" as the Zovirax ones.
Purchased in October 2021.

I have used these for years and always have on hand "just in case". Yes they are fiddly and I've ended up wasting at least a couple every time, or getting the patch completely out of the paper protection and sticking it on like that. They're not medicated which surprised me as I thought this was what healed. However, I do find covering the sore in a patch takes the pain away. Unfortunately part of my cold sore always goes under the lip so the patch doesn't sit perfectly and once I eat and drink it lifts of course and the patch is very notic...Read more
eable. I got given a pack of Compeed as a sample. Much much better product. I like the idea one reviewer put up because of his facial hair - cutting a patch in half! I shall try that then it won't go under my lip and get wet too quickly.Purchased in April 2021 at Chemist Warehouse Physical Store.

NON-MEDICATED WASTE OF MONEY
I'd give these patches zero stars if I could. Non-medicated patches are a waste of time. Compeed medicated patches help to heal & protect. Please don't waste your money on these!
Purchased in February 2021 at Amcal for A$14.00.

Worthless
Paid over $13 for these worthless tiny plastic covers. They do nothing besides stick on and then fall off immediately. They are a gimmick and dont work to heal the coldsore at all. The application is complicated, fiddly and never works properly. I wasted my money.

I’m really happy with this product
I’m really happy i grabbed a pack of these today. One patch lasts me between 6-8hrs. Its really easy to apply and i find it sticks really well. It smoothes out the area and keeps the sore compressed, it really does like invisible. I use them of a day and at bed time I put some of the Zovirax cream on.

Why so expensive???
These help if I wear them at night only. Otherwise these bits of $1.50 bits of plastic come off in about 5 minutes during the day.
Honestly don’t understand why they’re so expensive. It’s quite ridiculous.

Worst patches ever
Compeed was sold out so got these ones. First 4 ended in the bin as they are impossible to apply. They don’t stick, don’t relieve any pain or itchiness. I agree better set your $20 in fire than buy these. These should be removed from the shelves, complete scam!

Literally the worst product I have ever used
You would do better to take your $20 and joyfully cut it in to tiny circles and stick them over your cold sore; I'm sure they'd be less maddening to use and at least then you wouldn't also suffer the feeling of being totally shafted as well as a cold sore. If giving zero stars was an option I'd take it.

Great product when modified
I find these difficult to use as I have a facial hair, so they do not stick... therefore I need to apply it lower on the lip, which does not work as mouth serliva detachers the seal and its left flapping/hanging on the lip… very annoying.
But i have come up with a solution. If you cut the seal in half and apply it to the top part of the lip, it does not overlap on facial hair or hang below the lip… keeping it dry and stuck to the lip and blends better on the lip.
Instructions: When cutting the seal, you will need to peel the two pieces of...Read more
paper off first, as instructed on the box… Then cut it in half. Do not try to cut the seal with the paper still on, as it's impossible to remove the paper without damaging the seal. Hope this helps, might even be a good solution for non facial hair users to.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Healed Fast
Didn't find the patches tricky to stick on at all and my cold sore was virtually healed within three days. Lasted about 4 hours until I had to apply a new one and stayed on all night unlike a cream.

Waste of time and money
Total waste of money Impossible to apply You will waste at least, 1/2 a packet following the poor instruction If you do get it on It won't stay The only thing it sticks to is your other lip so get use to walking around with your mouth open and don't even attempt to have a drink I will never buy another zovirax product again

It sticks on
The patch was actually sticking on the spot when I applied it. If I didn't soak with the warm water the patch would not fall off itself (it was on for a day).
The ony thing with the patch was it didn't reduce the pain, or I guess I should have put it on earlier. Follow the instructions, and make sure your lip is okay level dry, then it will definitely stick on.
The cream they have is really helpful though to reduce the symptom of the cold sore. But if you put on the cream then the surface will not allow you to put on the patch. So either way.
I hope whoever reads my review will be better soon, cos cold sore is really annoying..

Not sure if it works
Easy to get on for me, just read the instructions while in a moving car and it was invisible! Now I'm not sure if it actually works or if just me taking lysine tables at $7 a bottle worked better. Cheaper and healthier option, I think I will just take my 2 tablet of Lysine and never get a cold sore again!!

Just set your wallet on fire instead.
I suck when I get a cold sore, my anxiety goes to hell, and I basically refuse to leave the house. Compeed was a lifesaver for me since I'm allergic to pretty much all of the cold sore creams available, but I won't get paid for a couple of days and the Zovirax patches were half the price. After a horrible experience with them a few years ago I figured I might give them another shot since it has been so long and there was a general chance they may have made some kind of improvement...
Spend the extra money to get compeed.
