Beware the warranty
My unit is just over one year old. The chuck was constantly slipping. Warranty claim was denied, according to AEG the chuck is a consumable item!
After looking into this, I found this is a very common complaint about the AEG warranty. I have about seven AEG tools, three are awaiting repair. When they are working they are fine, however don't expect much product or warranty support from AEG.

Happy I went with this one
I saw an AEG 3 piece set on sale at Bunnings and the impact driver was the actual drill I was looking for. Have tried a few cheap brands but the BSS180P so far is my fav. Quiet, lightweight and price for what I got was great.
Purchased in June 2021 at Bunnings Warehouse for A$399.00.

Trade quality tool for the DIYer
Bought this tool in a combo kit with a Brushless hammer drill. By chance I was in Bunnings and the AEG rep had a display with special promotion deals on some of their products. This brushless oil pulse impact driver is advertised as "works twice as fast as a standard impact driver, but with half the noise", this is absolutely correct!! Minimal noise compared to other impact drivers I have used and with loads of grunt and fast. The stated torque figure (82Nm) is not comparable to other drivers with double this figure because of the Oil Pulse int...Read more
ernals so disregard that. After using one of these I just wouldn't go back to a standard impact driver. It does take a little getting use to as it is a different impact than normal drivers however this is of no detriment. It has 3 speeds so is extremely versatile. After several hours use I was also pleasantly surprised to have no hand fatigue like others I've used. Additionally, I discovered a great feature which I didn't know until after using it at home, the tool has a light switch at the base of the handle that operates the 3 lights independent of the trigger action. Very handy in low light situations to use as a torch. The brushless drill is equally an excellent tool and never having owned AEG tools I was suitably impressed with both. Came in a robust case with charger and 2 batteries all very good quality. And with 6 years tool and 3 years battery warranty that beats a lot of the opposition. It really is trade quality at quite a reasonable price. Only problem was the you know who spotted these new drills and immediately lined up another 10 jobs for me.....
