Very difficult to compete against other tasker when they receive an unfair advantage. I noticed one of the Air Taskers received two very poor 1 star reviews within in a week and has fake qualifications . Two days later the poor reviews were removed from his profile. I wrote to Airtasker for a response and they said they have the right to remove reviews if they see fit with no explanation. The same tasker has had several of these poor reviews removed in the past. They said they would investigate the fake qualifications however took no action even though I provided evidence. The last time I complained about unlicensed people doing work they suspended my a/c.

Never using again. Support staff would not block a user that was swearing at me and abusing me. I am horrified and would never recommend. Terrible app and terrible staff

Great range of jobs on offer and bidding is quite competitive. Ideal for taskers to source quality providers. Handy for a retired person to exercise their mind by offering under utilised skills.

Airtasker is a very good platform for jobs. Life is much easier with Airtasker, where you can make posts for tasks to be done, and where you can offer to take tasks of your skills for extra incomes.

Airtasker is providing work for me to do whilst Covid-19 has severely cut my main line of work. Thank you Airtasker for the opportunity to earn a little extra cash when my chip are down.

The fee airtasker take for work you complete is in my opinion way over the top. Because of this a lot of the tasks it makes it not worth doing

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! We were charged double by the app and were told to contact the tasker ourselves for a refund at their discretion. Absolutely appalling that the app would not refund us when they were at fault. DO NOT USE!

I’ve done 1 job, awaiting payment. And I’ve accepted a 2nd job I’m working On at the moment.
So far it’s been good, but I’ve only had these two experiences so it’s a bit early to write a review and know if it’s as awesome as it’s seeming. So far, so good though.
I wish when I was searching through tasks and I press the back button, it didn’t take me all the way back to the top and I have to scroll through again to get back to where I was on the list. This is pretty annoying and makes me selective about what I’ll click on because then I know I have to find my spot again.

Was a little surprised to see that when someone gives a bonus because they are happy with the service that is provided by the tasker, Airtasker is taking a cut from the bonus.

I don't really care that much but was surprised to see that it was not entirely going to the right people.

Easy to browse, set up and use. Wouldn’t have a bad thing to say about the process. The payment was very prompt and much quicker than I expected. Will be using again

Unfortunately Airtasker is allowing a ‘business-owner’ to write long, false reviews about me and text, harass and abuse me because I wasn’t happy with her service. I needed a cleaner and she sent out a poor unwell elderly woman who simply couldn’t do the job. The ‘owner’ became aggressive and defensive when I politely decided to no longer use her services.
Their un-empathetic replies and ‘welp...that’s her opinion!’ attitude proves that they are happy to take a service/insurance fee but not actually take action when needed. Definitely won’t be using again for fears of my own safety.

Found a task in my sweet spot straight up. And you are helping some people who are in a bit of a jamb and need help, it's gratifying. Will keep at it.

Airtasker is a good place to find some easy quick tasks to do and you’ll enjoy. Plus the outcome would make you really happy you can choose your distances and you can offer what you think is reasonable

I'm a qualified cabinet maker but makes it nearly impossible to qoute with out looking at the job some people can't even read a tape measure how can I quote? Do many variables colour choices material makes big price differences. I got banned blocked as the person put up a add $5 for a qoute I accepted the $5 to do a qoute for the job and you blocked me. For example a $10,000 job will cost the poster nearly a $1000 I loose $2200 just like that from Airtasker then I pay tax on top I get no money to buy materials until the job is completed you got to be kidding me.

There is always a small task I can do for some one that pays me money when i need it. I have done many tasks now and intend to continue doing tasks for anyone I can help. It is a mutual thing...

The "Bronze" tier fees (which the majority of users would fall in) are ludacris, they steal 20% of your labour fee for merely the service of an autonomous classifieds listing service. Then they make themselves look like saints by saying if you earn thousands of dollars worth you get a small reduction in fees.

So far this app has been great. The fees are a little high but there is really no competition. Easy to use app. I will definitely keep using. I just wish there were more tasks suited to me.
