Phone app needs work to eliminate available jobs repeating themselves in the jobs list. They take a lot of money from you if you are assigned a job. Apart from this it's a good way to get work.

I seem to have been blocked or restricted. I didn't get an email of how long the restriction would take, a bidder asked us what our company names are, at theback of my mind i thought it was just to ensure we would produce a receipt. A few hours after that i received an emailed that comment had been deleted but i didn't know i would also be blocked. May i kindly be unblocked and promise bot to repeat it again, i am an international student im Australia and without airtasker i will be shipped back in a police van as i would not be able to pay school fees and rental

Great & functional concept, utilised by many. I disagree that the commision fee is too high. 22% is a realitively standard rate. Updated with auto keyword notifications daily and task search feature and chat interface.

Pretty good app. Great concept and easy to use although They take a lot of money off you at the start. Was easy to get my payment. Recommend it’s cost less as you do more jobs

Good for finding odd jobs would be good if you’re able to message the poster before you get accepted for the job and if you could keep a bit more of the $$ in the higher paid jobs.

Can’t use the App at all on my phone. There is a some reason but not apparent. I’m left wondering why this would be but I don’t know where to go

It’s good for picking up odd jobs as a hobby hopefully in the future will be able to make a living only doing Airtasker.
The advantage is you can set price you want to be paid without awkward face to face haggling.
Only small issue is sometimes the person posting the job takes a long time to respond or assign the job and also forgetting to release payment after the job is finished

I would not hesitate to recommend this website. The bidding process is fair. I think a filter option for urgent tasks would be useful. Overall, it's a great resource to earn a part time income.

Airtasker fees are too high, the Task posters want to pay the smallest amount possible, because they don't want to pay standard rates.

In order to get the task, you need to under bid. Usually the rate earned can be less than $15 per hour. Airtasker staff are not helpful.

I have done some absolute horrible jobs for people that have simply tricked me with the job description, photos and then said that i have to do it or they won't pay me.

Also bad reviews were threatened.

Items made were not made to my specs. Person making them kindly refunded minus
airtaster fees and delivery charges etc. I was charged airtasker fees and pay return post. Beware.

The only bad thing is the large percentage Airtasker takes out of your earnings.
I like everything else about the site especially that once you're assigned to the task your conversation becomes private. I would love to see offering jobs on the site as well. In my case I could post that I train dogs and those who need this service could find me easily.

Can time consuming, if you're scrolling and open a task, when you get out of that task it will take you back to the start of your search. Quite often when I hit refresh it defaults the search location to Sydney. Is a good way to make a bit of money.

Great opportunity to earn a bit of extra cash however the airtasker fees are crazy high! It puts me off applying for some higher priced jobs as airtasker takes so much of the money.

Good platform to have as another source for finding work. Could be much better though. They are just not listening to the suggestions of the many many workers. Some fixes would seem so easy to do if their tech staff were capable or allowed to listen to the market. It is hard to customise searches and notifications. Too many low ballers and the commission payable to airtasker, 22%, is too high.

Excellent opportunity to earn yourself that but if pocket money.. plenty of different options to choose from depending on your knowledge of know how to do things.. and the positive thing is you are rewarded for it..
