Batteries generally last up to 2 years. I’m sure the instructions advise the owner to keep the batteries fully charged regardless of use. Car batteries are similar.
there is nothing wrong with the battery. the mower wants to start. seem the new fuel won't get to where it needs. it starts like a motor the is cold. and won't... seem starved of fuel.

I have an Aldi XFinity Plus 20V battery lawn mower that we have had for a number of years. We have a duplex with a small amount of mowing to do and we have been very happy with the mower. Today I recharged the batteries, having not used the mower for a number weeks, and found that the mower will not work. Is there a manual that I can refer to for trouble shooting? Aldi battery mower....have loved it until now.....batteries fully charged but won’t start....checked manual and circuit breaker.....still won’t go.....should the blade spin freely when not going?.....we would appreciate some advice
yes you should be able to turn blade around by hand when turned off, check that drive belt is not chocked with grass?
or other object it should turn with the blade.
Thanks for the answer Steve... no blade moves freely no problem there... we thought maybe it shouldn’t move and that may have been the problem.....now thinking it may be something to do with the switch on leaver.
