Purchased Papulex face wash online from Amcal and couldn't be happier. Great price (20% cheaper than elsewhere) and very quick delivery.

The staff at Amcal chemist at Modbury triangle are so friendly and helpful.they really go out of there way to assist you. I can't take certain medications and I they picked this up when I handed in a prescription ..I always feel like family when I go in they ask how I am. And always remember my name.i will never go to another chemist .

I bought 6 cans of the Manuka up formula that is gonna expire in 3 month time. no refund after i found out because they said their policy is minimum 3 month expire date which is not in the terms and condition, which is you have to ring them first to ask, which is they can just made it up to bullying customer. they provide minimum customer service as well. they will even laugh at you over the phone and saying there is nothing they could do. terrible customer service and terrible food quality. NEVER EVER GONNA BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

The illustration on Amcal's eBay store listing was of a triple pack of contact lens solution. The price was just slightly lower than its closest competitor, so I ordered three (i.e. nine bottles in total). They sent me three single bottles, i.e. one-third of what I paid $75 for. When I called to complain, they said it was my fault for not reading the listing properly and refused to refund the cost until they received the parcel back. No apology for their misleading listing, of course. One week after posting it back to them, I still haven't got the refund. eBay has been asked to step in and force them to issue the refund. Disgusted and needless to say I will never shop with them again.

My mother, grandmother, my daughter and I have been shopping at Amcal West Lakes for years.... never again. The service I received on Sunday 9 April was disgusting. The assistant after waiting 5 min for service came over and said what do you want aggressively. This comment and tone stopped me in my tracks. The transaction got worse from there. She couldn't even subtract $2 from the price without using a calculator which she got wrong anyway. (I was short changed). I have never met a ruder person especially one who is working in customer service. This assistant should either be retrained or mentored. The dispenser manager didn't seem to care either once I told him my views.
AMCAL has now lost some long term customers!

Never buy at Amcal. I purchased the medicine there just because it was next to the Dr but never thought the price difference would be so big with the chemist warehouse. At Amcal I paid $19 while today I bought the repeat at the chemist warehouse for 6.50!!!! Almost 15 dollars difference!!! outrageous

Good service but $10 more expensive than chemist warehouse for prescription and $15 more expensive for probiotic. Convenient location is the reason I went but not any more

I went to the store to purchase a product and their medicine was 5 dollars dearer that most pharmacies in Darwin. It's a joke really Amcal state they can't compete with the busing power of bigger chains but this is a joke.

As I didn't check the expiry carefully when I bought some Centrum products at Amcal Westfield Belconnen store (the one near Aldi), I went home and realised that 1 box is already expired. The next day I come to the store (with the receipt) for exchange but the manager refused to accept by the reason that they are unable to check where the product comes from. It is unreasonable cuz every product got a code and it should be somewhere in the system, I suppose. He talked in a way that was irresponsible and unacceptable that the product must not belong to our store and told me that I try to take some old medicine for exchange. His attitude was an offence, and it disgusted me, especially he is a pharmacist.
Anyone has the same issue?

Absolutely disgusted with Amcal service, was lectured & belittled by chemist as to why they won't stock my medication as it is too expensive for them. Fine, give me my script back and I will go elsewhere, no need to lecture me in such a rude manner! I will take the thousands $$ that I spend annually to another chemist.

Gave the chemist my script to which she asked "Do you want generic or original medication?" I told her I would like the brand that is listed on the script, I do not want their generic brand. So I come back and she gives me the bag and tells me that it is the generic brand as they don't have the original. So I hand it back to her and walk out. A few weeks later I tried again different meds this time for my wife, same questions, same answer from me and the same result in the end.

If you don't have the brand asked for don't try and palm off your generic rubbish!

Worst delivery and service, when I didn't get my products, I called but they never answered the phone. I left emails but they never replied. I had to complain to Paypal to get my delivery!

Placed online order with click and collect. No communication been 5 days and called pick up store no record. Called amcal say posted to store but don't have any details. Want to cancel order but can't do. Should have read reviews. Worst online experience.

Bad service to take passport photos. Does not have proper equipment so photos were badly taken and they just said - sorry photos will be rejected rather go elsewhere.
Why provide the service if they can't take proper photos?
Staff had bad attitude too.

Took 10 days for order to arrive in Melbourne and was only half complete and did not offer chance to cancel the order. End result was much more expensive than buying in a chemist as had to pay for full delivery fee for only couple of small inexpensive items.

Usually buy a generic prescription medication through Chemist Warehouse for $12. I couldn't get to a Chemist Warehouse so I went to Amcal Leongatha (Vic) to fill the prescription. I was informed that another generic brand would be supplied so I was expecting a similar or perhaps SLIGHTLY higher price. But no, silly me, the price was $23.54, nearly twice the Chemist Warehouse price. Thanks Amcal for reminding me why I don't normally shop with you.
