Knowingly excluded vital tax info now wants to charge to redo tax for 6 years!
I had used this accountant firm for 10 years.
This year I found out that 7 years ago this firm started excluded some bank statements, income and financial information (that was previously reported), without mentioning, or advising that the 'property' was not being accounted anywhere. I have evidence the accountant even requested information about the property, that was not used in tax returns. They did not follow the legal requirements to provide terms of engagement and take no responsibility for the error. I am now required to amend tax retur...Read more
