So thin - it's like walking on air

published

This computer is crazily thin. It wasn't until I saw it in real life that I fell in love. It is quite heavy for the size because of the solid construction. The screen is also a little too small to work on for long project.

This is a perfect computer if you want to take it to meetings to take notes or watch some videos on public transport (beware the muggers).

This cannot be your only computer - I would advise you to get a desktop for doing assignments and reports.
Thin, small, incredible powerful for it's size (compared to most netbooks)
no cd drive (but I use USB's mostly) also screen is small so may hurt your eyes after long periods

Excellent

I think even at home, a very light notebook is a pleasure. The fast performance and access to Unix make this a convenient machine for science tasks.
Surprisingly fast with complicated Mathematica programs. Overall the advantage of solid-state disk is very clear in speed of read/write tasks or starting.I had the first MacBook Air which lasted a long time, and after 3 years Apple provided free repair of the hinge problem. It is still going, but much slower.
Apple dropped keyboard backlight which is now inconvenient.

Good

Over all a very good contribution from Apple, on a whole it is a very
ultra portable laptop with netbook size (but still a laptop price) if
you have the budget for a very good laptop thats going to come close
to replacing your current desktop then look no further! HDD sise 64GB
or 128GB is a bit limited and is not able to be upgraded, this may be
something to keep in mind for prospective buyers
Light, Great Battery Life, Very responsive, Solid construction,Perfect screen, Great Trackpad, 2Gb Ram, Intel Processor, Solid statedrive
Limited connectivity, small HDD size, limited upgrade capability, nonreplaceable battery, no backlit keyboard, price
