They make the best laptops

published

On Friday 5th January 2018 I got this from Apple as a replacement for my MacBook Air 13" 2015 since I took it into the Apple Store in Doncaster on Tuesday morning 2nd January 2018 and the Wi-Fi wasn't working so they couldn't fix it.

Purchased in January 2021 at Apple Store Australia.

Mac is not too good

published

You might think that mac are good (which they are) but if you use them for more than a year they start being the crappy computer that makes people cry so if you want to get a good computer get Windows 10 on Dell™ or Acer™, HP etc :D

Alright product.

published

This product is alright if you're not running too many programs. not worth paying the retail price for. it overheats alot but the features and functions are pretty cool! I like the layout and the operating software. very clean and neat. unable to play games at a fast pace and it has to be properly ventilated for it to not sound like its about to take flight!

Well worth it

published

Purchased my latest laptop & decided on a Mac (first time) as I have 2 other laptops 1 running windows 7, 1 running windows 8, I purchased the Mac pretty much based on the reviews I read & the fact I have iPhone & IPad retina model also, I have found over past five years with the iPhone the sales and service at Apple is better than anything else experienced.
If you can look past the cost of this Mac book Pro I7 15" $3500 which is a bit pricey compared to windows running machines it really is comparable to driving a Mercedes after driving a Hyundai.
Thoroughly recommend to any serious buyer.

Best Laptop I ever brought

published

Moving out of Windows to Mac, the best decision I ever make.

It is fast and easy to use and come with free Office (Numbers, Pages and Keynote).

Update and patches is seamless with lesser Security Issues to worry about.

It easily out run an much better configured W530 with 32GB RAM and SSD with higher resolution > FHD, lower RAM of 16GB, and nearly half the weight if you consider the huge charger that I need to carry around with the W530.
Fast, Good Performance and Light Weight compare to an equivalent Windows Laptop.
Compatibility as we're still living in Windows World.

Love my Mac, and I won't go back Mac

published

I have had my Mac book pro now for just under 2 years and totally love it. I was recommended to Mac by everyone I spoke to including Mac competitors. However I was reluctant because I had always been a PC person but now that I have it I totally understand why it's the way to go. I use mine for photos and nothing provides the clarity and ease of operation that these do.
Great for photo editing, display screen is awesome, no viruses, amazing computer.
Should have paid the extra for solid state hard drive

The only computer you will ever need...

published

I am mac user for 6 years now. I use to build computers myself. I repair laptops. I know my staff. Macs are indeed amassing. Excellent quality, they are silent! Metal body, great screen. If you are Mac newbee it will take you some time to get use to the new system, but if you have iPhone it helps.
Silent and great quality
No blue ray support

Cracked screen

published

The screen on my Macbook Pro cracked while I was cleaning it with a microfibre cloth. No excess pressure was used, and the laptop had always been taken very good care of. When I took it into the Chermside Apple Store, they refused to admit that the glass used was faulty, and accused me of "punching the screen" to make it crack. Shame on you Apple and shame on your customer service.
Great machine, have always used Apple products. However I feel this will be my last.
Weak glass used on screen. Bad customer Service.

Will you get the use out of it for the cost?

published

Such a great computer! It has the amazing ability to do so much more than you think. Like others have stated the cost is incredible so be sure you are going to get what you need out of it before you go spending lots of money. The graphics are amazing, the keyboard is smooth and the screen is so clear. It's quick and easily portable. Especially with a lot of people having Iphones these days, it's great to have this too.

Not something I would spend my money on.

published

Every teacher at my school has one.
It needs an adapter to connect to VGA or HDMi to a TV. The adapters always stuff up.
I am the IT person in my class who always helps people who have problems with their computers. The problems are they freeze when only doing small stuff which require very low processing. It doesn't always get the screen resolution right when connecting to a TV like my Other computer does which i love so then I don't have to do it myself. So i have to go into settings to get the resolution right.

It is a pain in the back.
It can movie edit
Everything freezes, slow, waste of money. ect

I love my macbook ...

Apple's Macbook Pro is a great product. I would recommend it to anybody. Excellent graphics. A lot more reliable than windows. However, you can still install windows on it instead of snow leopard if you prefer.
Excellent product. Well design. Powerful Intel Core Duo. I never regret changing to Apple. Great warranty on the Apple care protection plan as well. I cannot live without my Apple MacBook Pro.
Take a bit of time to learn to get used to if you were a windows user. However, Apple's computers are in fact a lot more simple and easy to use. Once you get use to it you'll really enjoy using.

Fantastic :D

I bought this laptop last week because my old macbook was really getting slow and incompatible with todays technology ~! so i went for this model and i really was surprised how good it is ~ Best Laptop I've used for sure..
Backlit Keyboard, wide screen, pure and crisp graphics, easy to use and very fast
I did experience one little error because i didn't update something causing the machine to shutdown and start macking some strange noises, but i did resolve it by updating it.. :), sometimes it can get a little hot
