Seen an improvement after one week
Gold+ AllerPro 1My son has reflux and he was originally on a lactose free formula but he was having really watery stools only and his reflux was getting worse. I heard about Allerpro from a reflux forum and then called the company. My son who was only 2 was old at the time had all the symptoms of cows milk allergy so I was advised to use the Allerpro and I was told it could take up to 2-4 weeks to see an improvement. I also thicken the formula with the aptimal feed thickener. Within a week I saw an improvement, and now at 4 weeks it is noticeable. Stools aren

It's also hard to buy as it is only in selected pharmacies and it's pricey compared to other formulas. In saying that, I will still be sticking with this formulaFinally a answer!
Gold+ AllerPro 1Thank goodness for this formula & a massive credit to the ladies who assisted online website at karicare & recommended this product. My LO has had a rough few months trying to get to the bottom of her awful constipation and pains in the belly. After trying 6 different brands of formula ranging from "comfort" "organic" and even "lactose free" this is the only tin of formula that seems to work. Massive improvement within days of switching. Downsides would be not many chemists stock so need to buy in bulk, on the pricey side, formula does smell a

Read morend might take LO to get used to the taste first and is quiet thin compared to other formulas - that however helps with constipation but is a slight issue for reflux babies (my LO also has reflux but positives on this formula outweigh the negative) Good luck to those in a similar situationGlad we found this!
Gold+ AllerPro 1Great formula for babies with a diagnosed mild cow's milk protein allergy (CMPA). Can be purchased from chemists without a prescription. Easy to prepare, and clean bottles (some formulas are quite greasy), and bubs seems to enjoy the taste. The only problem is that it can be hard to get some times as it is quite popular due to it being the only available formula for mild CMPA babies without a prescription. It can be ordered online 3-6 tins at a time though.
Just what we needed!
Gold+ AllerPro 1After our first daughter being diagnosed with a milk protein allergy and on the scripted Aptimal Pepti Junior, we thought our son was going to be ok. Not the case. The same symptoms started at around 6 weeks old and I discovered Aptimal AllerPro and thought I'd give it a go before getting into our paed. The first night on it he slept 9hrs straight so he must have been feeling better :-) He didn't really like the taste to start with so I called the helpline for ideas. We started adding about 1/4 teaspoon of golden syrup and he drank a full bottl
... Read moree. After 6 days we have reduced the golden syrup to only a drop and he's still drinking it. Hopefully we can stop it altogether in the next day or so. It's very easy to prepare and doesn't froth up at all! The only side affect we've had is a happy baby with lots of smiles! If you're having tummy, runny stool, eczema, reflux or vomiting issues I highly recommend this formula :-)

Worked for us!!
Gold+ AllerPro 1After trying 3 other formulas and finally going to a ped this formula was recomended as my son was always unsettled would only sleep 5 minutes to 15 minutes at a time and had a really gassy tummy. Ive been using this for 3wks now and would not look back. It really worked for us :)
My LO likes it
Gold+ AllerPro 1The formula is easy to prepare and dissolves in water easily doesn't need lots of mixing. We tried several formulas before this one but LO didn't like how they taste as the formulas for babies with allergies taste sour and not like the normal formulas. My LO likes Aptimal and she finally had her full bottle. we never noticed my side effects in her, she never gets gasy or vomites as she does with different formulas.
Perfect for breastfed babies
Gold+ AllerPro 1So easy to transition from breastfeeding to top ups with this formula because it is so light and gentle on their tummies. My sons bowel movements didnt change and no upset tummy (which i was expecting). He also doesnt seem to mind the taste, he only has a few bottles a week but still takes to it without hesitation. Definitely worth the extra bit of money
Highly recommend
Gold+ AllerPro 1Great formula, i used it alongside breastfeeding, my baby had reflux, constipation and colic and couldnt tolerate any other brands, we tried so many others but he didnt tolerate them at all and would be in such pain after having them, our doctor recommended this and at the time it was really hard to find which was a pain but worth it, now i its much easier to obtain, highly recommend
Amazing
Gold+ AllerPro 1My son has a bad allergy but thanks to allepro make thinks much easy to stop breastfeeding and transfer him to bottle

Finally something that has worked!!
Gold+ AllerPro 1After 13 weeks of excessive vomiting on breastmilk and formula we finally tried allerpro. It has almost completely stopped our bubs reflux. He's only been on it a week but we r so relieved to finally try a formula that helps. Obviously the vomiting had to do with milk protein and not just reflux like everyone kept telling us. If u have a very spewy unhappy baby this formula is definitely worth a try.
Fantastic for babies with mild cows formula allergy
Gold+ AllerPro 1My seven week old son has been suffering terribly from wind from my breastmilk so we had been trying to find alternative formula options to mix feed. The first formula we gave him he had such a bad vomiting reaction he ended up in hospital. We then tried another formula, same reaction. We were told by our doctor that it is either a lactose intolerance or an allergy to the cows milk protein and we tried to give him lactose free formula and he was gagging at the taste. As a last resort before going through the process of having a confirmed allerg

He is loving this formula, has had no bad reaction, is still pooping normally and is such a happier content child. Really give this product a go! Highly recommend it.YOU NEED TO READ THIS IF YOUR BABY HAS CONSTIPATION AND REFLUX
Gold+ AllerPro 1My son was born 2 jan 2016, i couldn't breastfeed due to his level sugars went down, so the hospital give him nan HA GOLD which was working fine and having dirty nappies but had reflux but it didn't bother me cause it wasn't that bad, a week later my son was not sleeping at all i called nurse online/hospital/children helpline/called aptamil hot-line/nan hot-line/goggled and so on, nurses where telling me this is normal this that but this is my 2nd child and i had a feeling that my son is in pain, i realized my son was constipated and pooing rea
... Read morelly hard balls of poos, so i made a change on his formula i went with nan comfort was doing the job but his reflux was really bad, he would spew all his milk, i added aptamil thickener still wasn't working after 3 days my son got constipated and same poos again really hard and he was in pain. then after 2 weeks i went a bought aptamil AR GOLD it was really good and his reflux was amazing, but after 3 days constipated and same poos again, so i had enough i went to the hospital, the doctor wrote me down a formula and said this would work 100% it was bellamys the worst formula i ever gave to my son, it was nightmare of 1 week,,so i called aptamil hot-line and some lovely lady asked me if any of the family members have eczema or any allergies, she explained everything for me and made so much sense, after i got off the phone i headed straight to the chemist and purchased this product APTAMIL ALLER PRO GOLD PLUS, I GOT HOME I MADE HIM 150ml WITH 1 AND a HALF SPOON OF THE APTAMIL THICKERENER i gave it about 4 days and let me tell you i was never as excited as i was to see that dirty Nappie and sleeping from 9pm till 4.30 or even 10am till 7am straight and his only 6 week old, i am one happy mum and the little one is happy. NOTE he does pass lots of wind/GASSY spewing a little maybe like a table spoon which that is normal i know i have wrote a lot but just wanted to share that i know alot of mums/dads are going through this and i just wanted to help. hope this works out for you.Find out how Aptamil Gold+ AllerPro 1 compares to other Baby Formulas

Works for my baby
Gold+ AllerPro 1This formula helped my baby gain weight and helped his reflux. baby was a little small prior to this formula. Poos often on this formula. It does smell a bit odd and taste terrible but my baby seems to drink it fine. We stopped using it when his reflux was a little better as I was worried it had a bit to much sugar. Worth a try if you have a reflux baby.
Perfect for my bub with Silent Reflux.
Gold+ AllerPro 1This formula was much better than the HA formulas we had been using. Got rid of wind pains and bad nappies. Didn't fix the reflux but certainly helped. Used it for 12 months.. Can be hard to get so stock up with a few spares in the cupboard. Not as tasty as the others but they get used to it.
June 6th 2017 Update: Perfect for my baby
Easy to prepare. Small scoop size. Disolves quickly.
Baby enjoys it.
Less wind pains and better bowel movements than regular formulas.
It can be harder to find in store. Chemists only product and low stock often. More expensive.
Have used it for both my children from newborn to 18 months.
So thankful this product exists!!
Gold+ AllerPro 1My baby boy always had red cheeks. When I stopped breastfeeding at 6mnths and went to standard formula he quickly developed painful reflux that made him not want to feed and his red cheeks turned rough and dry. The rash then showed up elsewhere on his body. We had to use steroid cream to get it under control as he was so itchy he couldn't sleep. and he had frothy green poo.
Drs were no help tell ng me that reflux and rashes are common in babies and just to use creams and medication. But my instinct told me it was an allergy from changing to f
Fantastic for bubs with dairy allergy
Gold+ AllerPro 1I was told my bub was a "fussy eater" but mothers instinct and being bub number 5 i knew it was more than that. She rejected the breast after only short feeds, at 3 months i started expressing but that wasnt much better she would have about 50mls then scream in discomfort for up to an hour. It seem to get worse each week. At 4 months after trying regular formula, reflux formula and soy. Finally i had enough i jumped up and down was admitted to hospital. After 4 days and her losing weight we tried this and what a change. Diagnosed with a cows milk protein allergy finally we are improving. Highly recommended!
Unsettled baby and tummy pain
Gold+ AllerPro 1Tried this formula when my son was 2 months old as he had bad reaction to Nan Ha Gold 1. He devoloped liquidy stool, rash and generally unsetlled. I went and bought this as its closest to Nan Ha but it gave him even worse diarhia and he was crying non stop. So i thought thats it he must have sensitivity to hydrolized formulas. I switched to Nan Comfort after reading good reviews on it. Ever since he is been doung just great on it. I also use SMA for night feeding as it keeps him more content and gets better sleep.
Not for my bub
Gold+ AllerPro 1My bub never had tummy problem during the first few days but later on had greenish very liquid poo for a couple of days. His poos became inconsistent and he had a lot of farts with bad smell. The smell of the milk also stays in the bottle even if steamed (unless boiled) unlike his milk before. He became unsettled and always hungry. Not good for my baby.
Good formula for our bub!
Gold+ AllerPro 1With both myself and my husband having cow's milk protein allergies, and my newborn also showing symptoms of not agreeing with cow's milk, I thought this formula would be a good choice for him.
He's been having it full-time for two weeks now and seems to be doing really well. He has more happy times during the day and is only fussing and crying occasionally instead of almost constantly.
He only has small vomits, usually a little while after feeding, and otherwise doesn't seem to have any other issues with the formula.
As long as we mix it up with a fork instead of shaking the bottle, he also seems far less gassy.
The only negative is the higher price compared to other formulas however it's not that much in the big scheme of things!
Best among the rest
Gold+ AllerPro 1I tried all formula for my bub Aptamil, Nan, S26 (HA, Gold, Lactose Free, Comfort).. but only Allerpro worked for bub. She had eczema, vomitting after feed and diarrhea, unsettled at night. My bub paedia advised she may be allergic to protein found in cows milk. Allerpro is extrnsively hydrolysed protein. this protein is broken down to smaller parts that baby's system don't recognize that makes it hypoallergenic. Bub skin clearing, not vomitting, soft formed poo and settled every after feed. Happy with Allerpro!
Not good for my baby
Gold+ AllerPro 1I've tried so many formulas and someone recommended this to me. Gave my 8 week old baby a rash, was super unsettled, stinky farts and he smelt like the formula. Smell and taste awful and he wouldn't drink it. Only good thing is it cleared up my baby's congestion. Sorry not for my baby.
this is good
Gold+ AllerPro 1I want to order 3 of Karicare Aptamil Allergy but all Chemist out of stock. Can you tell me where the store location i can get it. why it just limit only? how many i can made the order limit? Any disccount if i order more then 5 ? ?
limit stock
can't live without it!
Gold+ AllerPro 1After trying nan ha, nan comfort, karicare ha, allepro was next on our list and we have never looked back. On all the other formulas our bub was left screaming and pushing in agony after each feed and this continued up until the next feed. Bowel movements were hard to pass, but when he did they were green and pungent. On allepro he has thrived, had a soft, yellow bowel movement everyday and settles after each feed. Best formula for a baby that isn't reacting well with the others.
everything
nothing
So close to perfect!
Gold+ AllerPro 1After having problems breast feeding I decided to go with FF my older daughter was on S26 original but it caused my one week old to have bad stomach pains and vomiting I decided to give NAN comfort a go and even tho it was much better than S26 she still was having tummy problems and spitting up so I changed again to Aptamil HA gold that was better than the last 2 but she had very bad gas, she smelt horrible! And passed gas constantly that smelt like rotton eggs someone told me to try normal karicare after that.. Was a huge mistake she was screa
... Read moreming in agony, so after a trip to the chemist at 9pm at night the pharmisist recommended I try aptamil karicare allapro, strait away she was happier she is now 7 weeks old smiles & poo's she still had some reflux but nothing like it had been.. If u can't find anything that seems to work this formula is well worth the try! Baby likes the taste, she's happy! Can only buy it at pharmacys, more expensive than other formulasWorth a try if you suspect your baby has a mild allergy
Gold+ AllerPro 1After 3 months of trying different formulas and different dr's I have finally found a formula that appears to be working. My daughter has suffered from severe congestion since starting on formula and it took 3 GP's and a persistent mother to finally work out its likely the protein in cows milk. I am on a waiting list to see an allergist (4 months) so I could not wait for an answer. I called the help line on the karicare tin and spoke to a nutricianlist who recommended I try this formula. So glad I did! My baby girl has slept well 3 nights in a
... Read morerow and is breathing through her nose for the first time in months!!!! If you suspect a cows milk protein intolerance it's worth a try, and stick to it for at least a week to see if it works for your child. Cleared up her sinus, relatively easy to buy too. A little expensive but worth itDidn't help
Gold+ AllerPro 1This was just one of many formulas that was suggested by doctors who weren't sure what was going on, but it didn't do much to soothe the situation. Turns out bubs has cows milk protein gut allergies and has finally found the only formula that will work for him which is Neocate
Awesom product!
Gold+ AllerPro 1This should of been in NZ sooner! It's fantastic. My bubs finally has normal poo, rash disappearing, no more snotty nose with cough, and way less spilling. I had her on karicare HA which was good but still had issues with foamy snotty looking stools, so I was halfing with s-26 lactose free, had normal poo but then the rashes come back. I highly rate allerpro! Keep it available to NZ our kids need it :)
Smaller scoops so you don't waste formula can make is 30 ml amounts
Expensive and can only by online 2 every two weeks so freight gets costly
Awesome formula!
Gold+ AllerPro 1My 11 week old struggled with constipation, dosed with coloxyl everyday and still struggled to open bowels, projectile vomiting after feeds and pain 24/7 and bad wind. He was a very unhappy baby. The paediatrician and doctors said it was just his reflux. He is also on Zantac and Losec for reflux. Within 48 hours of being in aptamil allerpro he was a different child. He opens his bowels everyday with no coloxyl, doesn't projectile vomit and smiles alot. The only thing I have found is that he seems hungrier on this formula and I started solids a
... Read moret 14 weeks 3 meals a day and he is still hungry. But I can live with that! I swear by this formula It's great, not much more expensive than normal formulas. Nothing at all. It's just not that easy to get.Didn't work for us
Gold+ AllerPro 1My 8 week old daughter was having a lot of issues with wind, loose green watery stools and silent reflux and we were told by a paedetrician that she had milk protein intolerance and he suggested Allerpro. Unfortunately this formula made matters worse. The reflux was worse than ever and there was no improvement with her bowel movements. At one point she didn't actually have a bowel movement for a week and was in terrible pain. After three weeks I gave up on this formula and have switched to another which has made a fabulous difference. This formula is very watery which I think is why the relux was made worse and it is also very expensive. It may work for others but was not for my daughter.
Nothing
Expensive, made matters worse
Hi there I'm also keen to find out which formula worked for you cause we are the same issues. Thanks
Great formula
Gold+ AllerPro 1We were using Bellamy's Organic Formula to supplement with, and noticed that bub was really struggling with pains after a bottle. We spoke to a natruopath who suggested it may be a lactose intollerance. We tried AllerPro and noticed a big difference from the first bottle. I don't mind that it is costs a little more than the other formulas, seeing my baby happy and pain free is all that matters to me.
Mixes well, not much foam once shaken.
I have only found it in certain chemists
