I bought one of these units about a year ago. It's great. I have the sensor unit mounted outdoors and it give accurate readings and it has never had connection issues. At the time I knew that i could add more sensor units (hence the 4 channels). I just looked on the Bunnings website and it appears the unit has been updated since I purchased mine. Will they still work together?
How do I sync the outdoor temp unit to main unit?
I have them together of a couple of hours now both on channel 1???

Hold the time button until it beeps then use it to scroll thru the date / time etc. Make sure you select EN for English where the day is shown
I was excited to get this today but doesn't show the outside temp on the inside unit. It is on channel 1. Disappointing. Is there anything else I can do other than take it back?
I re booted it...took out the batteries and now it seems to be working ok. Looks good. Bought good quality batteries.
How do i set the time zone, I press time for 2 seconds and it cycles through hour minute year month day and language. havent seen where i set it to UTC + 11 which is my time zone
I would try setting it to the correct time where I live and not worry about time zones. I don't believe it has that function..

Also select whether you would like Celsius or Farenheit by pressing C/F button. 3. When batteries are in place, the units wil automatically detect the current temperature & humidity after 3 seconds. If outdoor temperature is not displayed, press CHANNEL until the number 1 appears below the OUTDOOR CH icon. 4. To set date/time. Press TIME for 2 seconds, the numbers will flash. Set year by using up por down buttons. Press TIME . Repeat for Month, Date, Language, hour, minute & Time Zone. Press TIME to confirm
where is the best placement of outdoor unit? have had it under veranda but is showing inconsistent readings, have mounted on wall under veranda but humidity & temp readings too high. Tried on veranda support but reading temp 10 degrees higher!!! I have put it so it doesn't get morning or afternoon sun to not affect reading but still no good!!! If no one can help might have to pay a little bit extra to get a better one..
Wondering why it doesn't show the outside temp on the inside unit early in the morning when its still dark but shows wen its daylight?
