Armor All Cream Cut & Polish is a decent product for what you pay
wife applied it to 2007 toyota storm blue yaris and has come up looking like show room car. light marks have rubbed out fine and it was easy to apply about 1/3 of bottle used and you need to work the light scratched areas a bit. I will try in on my wrx in a few weeks time.
Armor cream cut and polish
Terrible product. Bought this for $ 15.00 and applied 3-4 times then buffed off. When the job finished most scratches vanished but week later they come back on even worse and much visible. Not a good product for marks, scratches..
Armor All Cream Cut & Polish - No Effect At All
Bought Armor All Cream Cut & Polish ($15.00) from Big W on 6/11/16. Disappointed in Cream Cut & Polish so am posting my observations.
Have not used a cut and polish for years. My son got his first car, an 8 year old Mazda 3 in good condition but obviously the last of the two owners had it parked outside. On the roof and bonnet it has what would best be described as dried water marks but obviously not water (probably something from nearby trees or pollution in water that had dried over time). They are not obvious when viewed straight down
... Read more but are quite visible when viewed at an angle and with the right lighting. So I did all my homework on cut and polish products since so many products available now. Thought I could rest easy getting an Armor All product and instructions seemed reasonable. We washed (with Armor All Heavy Duty Wash) in the cool of the afternoon in the shade, dried off with chamois and then used Cream Cut and Dry with a cotton cloth to try and remove these markings. All our hard work and no sparing of the product resulted in absolutely ZILCH improvement. I had divided the roof and bonnet up into quarters and did 2 quarters on the bonnet and 2 quarters on the roof to test the effect. No difference. Nothing! I then reapplied and did again on the same quarters. Again no improvement. Did not cut one bit of markings from the paintwork (can't see any differences between the quarters). Wasted product, wasted time and wasted sweat. I was so peeved with the cut and polish job I contacted Armor All through their website and 'contact us' email form to see why it didn't work. About 3 weeks later now and am still waiting for them to reply. I think their service reflects their product, or their product reflects their service.
Questions & Answers
applied this product after touching up paint and applying lacquer. Whole area is blotchy and looks terrible as if the lacquer has melted. any ideas to fix this please
Sorry to hear about what has happened Helen. I am not the best person to comment. All I can suggest is trying to get in touch with Armor but they never got back to me so I don't like your chances there. Maybe call in to a local 'panel beater/spray painter' and ask for their opinion about what to do and what might have happened. Good luck.
can you use this product on non metal panels on car?
Hi, I didn't deliberately use on non metal panels but there will always be some cream that gets on those plastic bits and pieces. Normally it comes off the same as on the metal panels. On the non-metal panels it tends to give back a little bit of lustre. I have not heard of the cream doing any damage to non metal panels.
Many thanks. All the best for the new year
