Broken after 2 years, very disappointed.

published

The wash time on this is very long, and the cutlery tray will occasionally fall out if you pull it too far. Other than that we’ve found the machine to wash well. However I’m very disappointed with the customer service we’ve received. Our dishwasher has broken after 2 years, and ASKO will not repair it unless we pay for it. A dishwasher at this level should last far longer than 2 years without a fault. To top it off even though I booked the service call, they have continued to call my husband to arrange the service, and as he wasn’t expecting a call he missed it, so we missed the service window and now have to pay a missed call out fee. Incredibly unhappy and would not recommend purchasing an Asko product after this experience.

Purchased in November 2021 for $1,799.00.

Easy to use quite heps of space

published

Love the hidden controls and the small display on the door, washes well and has good drying on the long dry setting, the racks and trays have lots of options, that is thinking out side of the box. The light inside makes cleaning and packing a breeze, the extra temperature setting is a good option.
The water usage is much lower than my old LG.
The racks and trays feel more solid than other on the market and the door is also feels more ridged and solid.

Huge capacity

published

This machine has the largest capacity that I have encountered and it is an excellent machine. I have previously had both Miele and ASKO XXL dishwashers but recently purchased the new ASKO D5646 XXL. It is similar to the earlier XXL model but the upper utensil tray is larger and accepts large serving spoons, knives and most cooking utensils. We have some oversized dinner plates that were difficult to fit in the Miele yet they stand upright in this machine with room to spare. I have never had any problems with Asko appliances and highly recommend this dishwasher.

I was considering buying one but now I am put off. Have you decided to buy this model or have you gone for another brand?
