Not worth the money
I bought 3 frypans, so far have only used two. "Stainless" steel? The first time I used the two, they were left with a brownish cooking mark on the insides, that I can't wash off. I didn't burn anything, I didn't use excessive heat. It's as if the sides of the pans absorbed the oil then it got stained into them. Extremely disappointed. Total cost of the three was over $400. DO NOT BUY - just not worth the money.
Purchased in January 2021 at Robin's Kitchen for A$420.00.

Baccarat 18/10 stainless steel saucepan non stick
This is the second of the same product, taken back first and replaced, replacement same fault.
Was told when returned that i cooked at to high temp and not taken care of.
It’s hardly used, if used more often it would only last 6 months
So very disappointed in product
Purchased at House.

Only beautiful on the outside but worst experience to own a set
No doubt they beautiful pots to display, Food sticks regardless of low temperature, even after following correct instructions and hand wash but map spots appear as if it's years I've owned them. The more i use them the more they discolour to brown. I'm definitely going to take them back. I can never waste so much money.

buzzing noise
I have a new set of Capri+ saucepans. They state they are suitable for induction cooktops and they do work, but they make a buzzing noise. Disappointing! Otherwise grip handles are great, as not many saucepans have these anymore.

Cheap, and the outside shows it
Does the job but the outside rivets will discolour to a cheap appearance as just aluminium and any dishwasher will ruin their appearance.
Also beware water and dirt can get Inbetween the lid's glass and handle bit easily.

Pots are fantastic, non stick pan sux
I have had my set for now nearly ten years.. My pots and steamer are the best items IVE EVER BAUGHT.. - No non stick rubbish, just stainless steel with a heavy base, so well made. They still look brand new... I highly recommend them..
Now on the other hand, the pan (with non stick coating) SUCKED.
But I've learnt, a pan is your staple.. I've tried since, Scanpan and Stonline.. Both only survived two/3 years each.. (Even with stone lines 12 year warranty)
So I highly recommend the set, I can't speak about hem highly enough.. But be prepared not to have your pan for two many years, it will eventually peel like all the others.

I’m writing this because I’m amazed year after year this set has not skipped a beat, nor tarnished and looked a day over a year old. I’m very impressed, all made vet well, nothing is loose. There a heavy item, but you want that as there bases are thick and very durable. Only problem was I got the non stick pan as part of my set, only last two years.. but honestly I’ve come to except “fry pans” no matter what they say only last 2-3 years. I’ve tried many more fry pans after, and now we went back to the baccarat..Purchased in January 2021 at Myer.

Handle fell off
The handle of my saucepan fell off while I lifted it off the cook top. Considering it is only 4 years old I thought it would last a bit longer

non stick peels off
Finally gotten around to writing this review. Purchased the Baccarat Capri+ 5 set including the non stick fry pan from HOUSE Broadway. Brought it back after 5-6 months when we found little divots and non stick peeling off. Was told we cooked in on high heat, that we had used olive oil and that I had scratched the pan cleaning it. No Warranty/replacement...
I'm not knowledgeable about cookware but I feel this is a crappy product. The Stainless pots are going well and are very good.

People don't understand cookware. They are great.
The discolouration is normal. It doesn't harm food, there is nothing wrong with it. If you are entertaining then give it a good scrub with a scourer and Jiff. People who dont understand cooking and cookware leaving bad reviews on a product that is amazing.
Very high quality, oven safe, induction, gas, electric! Love the silicone handles - they are very helpful when I grill the cheese after cooking on a gas cooktop.
This set is very high quality. Its obviously not teflon, so it does sometimes stick. If you find something sticking, add some water and a lid and leave it for 5 minutes.

not happy
bought a set of saucepans and first time I used one to reheat some leftovers the saucepan was badly discoloured . I them back and first thing I was told is "oh that looks like it was caused by heat" am I missing something here they're saucepans. have now been without anything to cook in for a week while they decide what's wrong

Low quality
These are only meant to be used with low heat (what kind of cooking set has this requirement?). Burns easy, stains easy otherwise. Very high maintenance pots. Two stars for looks but that's as far as the positives go.

Baccarat frypans
Unfortunately, i just purchasd 3 new Baccarat frying pans and one has started peeling off around the edges. I thought the non- stick was baked within/ onto the pan itself, so I will not be buying any more now..i was such a fan as my older 2 have been excellent for years.

Three piece saucepan set
I purchased the set for $99.00 they were on sale, reduced from $200.00, so I feel I purchased a good quality set of saucepans. My problem is the handles on the lids are too hot to touch, which I find very annoying as I use them on a daily basis, am seriously thinking of purchasing another set because of the inconvience of finding a teatowl every time I use a saucepan.
Every thing except the hot lid handles.

Best pots I've ever owned
I burnt our last two pots by letting the water evaporate when steaming vegetables. My wife wasn't impressed. So I splurged on the three piece Capri saucepan set. I got them for $150 from Robins Kitchens. They are very nice looking and heavy. The base is quite thick for even cooking and they can be quite heavy when they are full. We put them in the dishwasher which the instructions say is ok, but they recommend hand washing. Pfft to that, so far they still look good. We haven't had them long but we are loving them. ntee on them, within reason. I'm now eyeing off a new Baccarat Capri fry pan. Believe me when I say I won't be burning these saucepans any time soon, my wife would give me an uppercut if I did. Quality look and solid constructionSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

after plenty of research, these are great
We bought a six piece Capri set in a box plus one extra small frypan in June 2013. The packaging was excellent and not a mark on any item. Almost all stainless steel ceramic cooktop saucepans appear to be made in China so that narrowes the choices. The choice was either Scanpan or Baccarat Capri for us. Our daughter in law was a chef & wants them in our will !
Nice handles, vent in lids to avoid rattling, glass lid to observe progress and not unbalanced to use
Shop arround We paid about $400

Excellent cooking, unsightly marks after minimal use
I have the baccarat capri 16cm saucepan and it cooks excellent meals - anything from bolognese to white sauce to curries. The only problem it has persented is that after just a few uses, some unsighly brownish marks begin to appear on the base and are impossible to remove, even with the harshest of stainless steel cleaners.
Excellent cooking, great food.
Small marks on the base - no effect on the quality of the food it produces.

Evenly burnt!
Solid volume size stainless steel set.
We run cooking classes so durability and ease of use in a product is very important to us.
Easy to use for beginners as it has a measuring scale on the internal surface of the pots.
Thickened base is very effective - an example is one of our clients burnt a Teriyaki dish and the charring was thin and even across the whole base!
Recommend to larger families.
Reliable, easy to use, effective thickened base

Can I use in oven

I have owned my Baccarat saucepan set for many years and up until recently I have been very happy with the purchase and how they perform when I use them. After renovating the kitchen and adding an induction stove top, I was assured that my stainless steel saucepans with 18/10 stainless steel would be perfect for using on the new stove top as the bottom of the pans states that they are suitable for electric, gas, and induction cooking. Unfortunately they are clearly not. My saucepan has buckled on the bottom..after a rather loud bang.. which was frightening. The stove still works...so, my question is....what are these saucepans constructed out of?

I also have discovered two splits in the top of my steamer and one on the lip of one of my saucepans. Ones that are hardly used. There is just the 2 of us and we usually use the smaller saucepans so it cannot possibly be from misuse. In fact those ones have nothing wrong.
Is there any reason why this would be happening to the ones that we do not use?
Is there anything I can do about this?

Take them back to where you bought them, ask for a copy of their returns policy too and demand something be done. I got a refund on mine and bought a set of pans from Kmart, couldn't be happier
