Ripoff and agree with previous reviewer - Landfill!
A friend of ours purchased this pan for us as a wedding gift, compared to our $20.00 ALDI pan, it is absolute rubbish. So called 'non stick' surface is the opposite. After about the third use, the pan becomes sticky, cant cook bacon, eggs or anything you don't want to stick to the surface will become glued to it. A pain in the a**e to wash as you need to scrub. So disappointed considering the cost of this pan.
Will be seeking a refund from House. Terrible product. Save your money and do not purchase this brand.

Good hardy frypan that works well if you know how to cook well
I have read all these reviews about buckling and food sticking and I am absolutely taken back!
I think these people are after miracles or they simply can't cook! This pan works great, cooks evenly, sturdier than any frypan I've ever used! And easy to clean. I bought this pan years ago with no expectations and today, was marveling at how well it has served me... To the point I thought I would read if others were as impressed as me.
Some of these reviews I've read, I just don't believe it was the tool that let them down, rather, the tool that may have been using it!

Absolute landfill
Rubbish, can't cook bacon, eggs meat all stick, and badly, was seasoned correctly, cooked fine the first time, now will not cook anything without sticking. Warped on low heat... Chinese landfill!

crap!
I've been using this pan less than a month. I noted food sticking to the pan in eary stage. I made fried rice using 3 cups of cooked rice and vegies today. 1cup of rice was stuck to the bottom of the pan. It was oily small fried rice in the end. Terrible!! It was a expensive pan but it is a crap pan.

Absolute rubbish!
I thought this was to good to be true - a healthy non-stick pan. I was right and wish I never bought it! Such a waste of money and won't buy anything from House again. It has ruined so many of my meals (which becomes expensive). Hard to clean and doesn't do what they advertise. I will pursue a refund.
Update - I received a refund from House.

I love it!
I bought my frypan about a month ago and have used it often. I treat it the way suggested, starting on lowish heat before adding oil, and oiling it after cleaning. It is wonderful, genuinely non-stick, and I am now looking to buy other products in the range.

The worst frying pan ever
Bought this pan with a gift card, I was very excited to be lashing out on a super expensive frypan ($80 half price) for the first time ever! I treated it with extra care, reading and re reading the instructions and buying the correct oil for seasoning, it was about a week before I was brave enough to season it. I almost cried when it turned out to be sticky, warped, can't be used on high heat, needs heaps of oil to try to cover the base to stop sticking (health pan? What?), and just generally not worth it. Thought I'd give it some time, use it enough to hopefully get used to it, but no. Worst pan ever.

terrible! Buckles and burns on low heat from day 1
This is the worst pan I have ever owned. $150, 3 weeks ago. In the shop it had an unusual center oil ring I queried so the shop assistant unboxed 4 others and all were the same so she said it was normal, just manufacturers oil. I've used it 3 times. When heated the first time with oil to smoke point to season it (as per the instructions) the center buckled up. Even on the lowest heat the pan remains bowed and has such a raised middle no fat can cling and everything burns. It is unusable. And the warranty? If the initial reaction is anything to go by ? it will be as useless as the product. I wish I had read it's poor reviews before buying and wasting $150

Worst pan ever
Worst pan ever!! Waste of money. I have followed manufacturer's instructions by seasoning the pan but when I cook with it it leaves sticky residue all over the pan. I'll stick with my buying my pans at wollworths for half the price

Terrible Pan, Don't buy it!
I recently purchased this frypan from Robins Kitchen. We seasoned the pan and followed the instructions before use. After the first time we cooked, it started to stick. Now Eggs, Pancakes or anything that we cook in the pan stick.
I would absolutely not recommend this Frypan. Buy anything else.

Finally! non-stick, safe frypans that work!
I bought both the frypan and the grill pan and couldn't be happier. Over the years I have tried different non-stick pans and have been disappointed, but these pans are great! They cook evenly, food doesn't stick and there are no nasty chemicals in the non-stick surface. The price was the best - two of them for $60! I have used these pans over and over and still the non-stick surface works. However, never use spray oils on these beauties, only oil or butter from a container.

EGGS STICK, IMPOSSIBLE TO CLEAN
I was dubious as I'm not a fan of non-stick cookwear as a rule. The shop assistant at Robin's Kitchen convinced me to try this pan - as long as I treated it carefully it would last a lifetime. I'd read bad reviews but decided I'd give it a go. Big mistake. I have followed the instructions to the letter - I've seasoned with high smoke point oil regularly, I've used low-medium heat only, I've cleaned only with a soft cloth.... It was fantastic the first couple of times I used it and now I can't even fry an egg on it!!! (Unless I want to spend the...
Read more best part of a day cleaning it with a non-abrasive cloth - virtually impossible). In the future I'll stick with cast iron and stainless steel (pardon the pun) which can withstand high heat, can be scrubbed clean, cooks beautifully and doesn't stick!!!!!- Date Purchased

Uneven heating
For an expensive pan, it's terrible. Uneven surface, heat does not spread, the non stick is good, but a good pan is not bowed in the centre, making everything run to the edges

Fantatsic!!!
Ok. This pan, when seasoned properly, according to THE INSTRUCTIONS SUPPLIED, is awesome. I have used this pan to grill, stir-fry at both high and very high heats, slow cook, simmer, fry, boil and reduce. And everything in between that you'd expect from a high-performing, non-stick pan. To say I've abused this pan is an understatement and it continues to impress. The trick is, and this is no different from ANY pan, that you MUST SEASON THE PAN CORRECTLY. This doesn't just mean wipe it in oil. It means oil, heat, wipe, cool etc... It deals with ...
Read moreeverything thing I throw at it (I cook a lot) and has yet to leave me wanting. Even if I leave tomatoes grilling and take a phone call, the resultant mess is simply scrubbed off and oil applied to bring it up like new. Use a good oil (NOT VIRGIN OLIVE OIL) that has a higher smoke point and you're good to go! I've used this pan solidly for 6 months so now it just sits on my stove top as my go-to guy for every meal.- Date Purchased

Worse pan ever
I purchased the Pete Evans small frypan with a gift voucher from House. I would not normally spend $70 on a small frypan but because it was a gift voucher I indulged myself. Worse frypan ever from the word go. Everything sticks. Took it back to House who told me it gets better with time. What a lot of rubbish. As I did not keep my receipt I could not demand a refund even though the frypan was obviously brand new.

Absolute CRAP Way Below 1 star
This is the worst most crappiest pan that i have ever used. It should be called the super stick crap pan.
Not only does it stick but you can't cook eggs on it because they run off to the side as it is not dead flat
I followed the instructions on seasoning the pan using the correct oil to the exact wording but it still sticks like hell.
I read all of the other shocking reviews on some older Pete Evans pans and they were all 1 star and very negative but i thought this would be better as it is a new product. Boy was i Wrong.

Very disappointed
I bought this pan because the idea of chemical free non-stick cooking appealed and Pete Evans strikes me as the type of person who wouldn't just endorse any old product. I read the detailed instructions fully before first using. The pan worked really really well for the first 3 times I used it (each time adhering to the care and use guide). Now unfortunately items stick and it is pretty much useless. I wish I had checked these reviews before puchasing :(

Not good!
We bought a small and large Pete Evans frying pan and have been very disappointed in the quality and performance. Despite looking and feeling really lovely when we first got them, after a few uses the food sticks and flavours and oil from food have permeated the cooking surface making them very difficult to use and clean. They certainly don't perform/clean as advertised and considering they are not cheap to buy, I'll be steering clear of these products in future.

Terrible pans!
I bought the large deep fry pan from the Pete Evans range because they said it will take high heats, retain the heat when you put the food into the pan and it washes up easily and becomes even better with use. I can honestly say that I've never disliked a pan more than this one! It's terrible. I followed the instructions to the letter for seasoning it and even tried cooking on a low heat as instructed. The pan doesn't distribute the heat well so the food only cooks where the burner is heating the pan. After about 3-4 uses the non stick sta...
Read morerted to change and food was sticking. The other problem is that the pan retains the flavors of the food you cook so I made a curry one night and the next morning our banana pancakes tasted like curry pancakes, yuck! I'm not happy and will hopefully be able to return this. I really can't rate this low enough.- Date Purchased

Not ideal!
I recently purchased the Pete Evans Ignite Frypan and was very disappointed with it's performance. As recommended I seasoned the pan and used a high smoke point oil. After cooking just one steak the pan stained and was difficult to clean. Considering that most people purchase non-stick cookware because it is easy to clean I would stay clear of this one!
