Extremely disappointing
Despite strictly following use instructions recommended for this product, the non stick ability quickly failed. It is a disappointing fail of a product that should be of high quality with good performance. In the mean time purchased a Arcosteel Stonehenge non stick fry pan from Woolworth's for a quarter of the price which is performing brilliantly.Goes to show that a celebrity endorsement is no guarantee of quality.

I Love the Pete Evans fry pans
I have had my 3 fry pans in different size and I LOVE them. I had them for a few years now and think they are brilliant. I am very disappointed that I can’t buy more for my caravan

Wok catches fire
I Was excited to get a new Wok for my brand new apartment, but this almost turned into a late night news story.
First use noticed the side immediately went black.
Next use and the pan caught fire.
This was on the smallest gas ring with the gas turned to low.
I was furious as I was concerned that I could have damaged my new range hood in my brand new apartment.
I immediately throw this fire hazard out.
I paid $200 AU for this and would strongly advise never buy a Baccarat product.
This company needs to be reported to consumer affairs.

These pans are great!
They do not stick when used correctly and can handle very high heat. I was afraid of buying one but thought what have I got to lose. I'm so glad I bought them. Reviewers who are struggling with the pan appear to not know how to use the pan properly. I store mine with a bit of oil smeared to it. Season the pan before every use for a while, it will develop a slick 'non stick' layer, just like every other carbon steel pan. I have two frypans, the griddle and the saute pan. They are heavy but the handles do not get hot when cooking. The griddle grills my steaks, pork chops and salmon fillets perfectly. Gotta love being able to use any utensils on it, as well as not worrying about heat like a traditional non stick pan.

Worst pan I have ever used
I was given the pan as a gift for my birthday, i read the instructions and it sounded too good to be true, it was. I followed the instructions for seasoning the pan using high smoke point oil (rice bran) but It didn’t work. No matter what I cook in it it sticks, to the point I am considering throwing it away. I will stick to my old cast iron pans which are indestructible and less inclined to sticking than this product.

What a piece of crap
Everything sticks... I followed the directions to a T and still they stick. I have 2 the larger one has now got black stuff such to it I can't get off. Save yourself the time and money and don't buy this shoddy product. They are in no way a premium product. Apparently they have a 20 year warranty... I only just find this when I googled how to Clean them?!?

Food sticking in pans not worth the money
I have 3 of these pans, the food gets stuck. I followed the care and pans' operations directions faithfully. I use low heat to cook and food still gets stuck. It is sad that a promotional name got behind a poor product. I am dissapointed and will try another brand

Bowed after less than a week
Followed the (unusual for a frypan) instructions for use/seasoning to the letter and was almost impressed by the non-stick surface. Less than half a dozen uses and the base has bowed, leaving food sliding to the edges and the non-stick becoming very sticky very quickly = a useless pan. For a pan that weighs close to 3 kilos this is crazy. How can the base that's a quarter to a half inch thick bow like that? Three from Three Baccarat products purchased have been complete failures, all purchased from House. A bowed pan, a crooked/chipped magnetic...Read more
knife block, and a knife that is the poorest quality copy of a real one I've ever seen. I wish I'd read reviews before making the purchase, which is what I do now with everything. Baccarat? You have to be joking. It's an absolute scam to be selling this stuff as merchandise and a terrible waste of resources as well as people's time/money.Purchased in July 2021 for A$50.00.

Best Cooking Pans I ever had
I had tried all sorts of non stick pans, you name it, ceramic coating, teflon coating etc, none of them lasted me more than a year before the coating starts wearing off. But I still stick to them because they are really light weight with their aluminum body. However, I knew I have to get cast iron pan for a healthier meal. I had been looking a more “lightweight” die cast iron pan for a while, but can’t find them in the market until I saw these, manage to get them with 70% off.

Worst pan I have bought
Purchased on a sale for $45 and thought I had a bargain. Store rep recommended it as robust and could handle metal utensils. That it has done so far but as far as non stick, it’s a major disappointment. I’m going to ask for a refund or credit it’s that poor. I read the instructions and followed exactly with seasoning, cleaning etc. It’s basically a stainless steel pan characteristic, everything sticks unless it’s soaked in oil or fat. Not what I was told when buying. I should hav bought a normal non stick and just been careful with utensils. W...Read more
ouldn’t recommend it if ur looking for non stick cooking. Also I only used medium heat and the pan base is bowed, oil moves from the center to the sides so the food even sticks with oil in the pan then! Very crap product Pete Evans.Purchased in April 2021 at House for A$45.00.

Impossible to use.
I followed all the lengthy and complex instructions for seasoning this product. This included buying a thermometer to get the right oil temperature. I also heated it up slowly as directed but after using it for the second time only a circle approx 6cm in diameter with slightly raised edges that are soft and sticky has appeared. Inside the circle the colour is different to the rest of the pan. Because of the toxicity warnings of nonstick surfaces I am now unable to use it. I also can't find a contact number for advice.

Worst pan ever purchased
So we bought this on a heavily discounted special (first sign that they are no good). Followed instructions, used the pan, and the non stick surface was terrible, its like the coating is now gone. I cleaned it and put it away as per instructions too, but the damage is still visible. It almost ruined by induction top as it left a ring for a week until I got out strong cleaning products (never had to use anything stronger than soapy water and a microfibre cloth to clean it in the 4 years we have had induction top).
I have used Baccarat previous...Read more
ly and this is the first time using it with the induction top. (I got a set of pots and pans with the purchase of the induction top which i have not had any problems with, but wanted a bigger size pan, hence the reason for the purchase). Note- if its heavily discounted, it can't be all that good. For those who say that the people who have the problem didn't follow the instructions, you may be right in some cases as a lot of people probably wouldn't read them, but as someone who is in Quality Control, I follow instructions all the time and can safely say this product has an issue.Purchased in March 2021 at Moore park for A$59.00.

Hands down best pans on the market!!!!
Was a bit turned off by all the negative reviews but decided to give them a try as they were highly recommended by the person at the store. I followed the very simple instructions, season the pan by filling it with oil and heating it to smoking point for a couple of minutes then tip the oil out and wipe it down with paper towel. Works a dream 100% of the time. Better than any non stick pan I’ve ever used. Only reason I can gather for negative reviews is people don’t know how to follow instructions then blame the pan. Bit of a shame

Pate Evans 30cm pan
We bought the 30cm large pan and is a dream to use.
I can't believe so many people have said the pan sticks and is terrible.
All I can say to this people, learn how to cook the pan is excellent, doesn't stick at all and if you follow the instructions
you have an amazing pan working as good as the Teflon coated ones without the poisonous coating.
I would recommend the pan any day.

Will never buy again
Seasoned pan as per instructions, cared for after wash etc but everything sticks regardless, even oil doesn’t help. Will never buy another again, will be returning but I don’t expect the “lifetime” warranty will mean much at all.

Cooked my favourite asian pancakes on it. Turns out perfectly!
Took me some time to use it, as was procastinating on seasoning the pan. Cant find any video on youtube how much smoke should the oil produce. Waited half an hour on a small fire before turning it to medium high and saw some smoke for real!
Have used it to cook 3 different types of asian pancakes for big groups of people and love how perfectly it turns out! ( vegetarian pancake, banh xeo, jian bing )
Love the fact it can take in hot fire as long as the pan is uniformly heated from small fire first, so it dosent wrap. So glad no more anti coating agent is going to get into my food !!
Had it used for 2- 3 weeks Cossing my fingers that it will continue to perform n loving it so far xoxo

I have a baccarat health pan and have lost the instructions on what to do before first use. Can you put them here

Put 1cm of high smoke point oil (I use rice bran) heat up into oil is smoking, let smoke for one to two minutes then pour oil out and wipe down with paper towel and you’re good to go. When using make sure pan and oil are both hot before you put your food in
Step 1) Take pan, place it in the bin.
Step 2) Go buy another pan...

How do I get stuck fried egg off this pan?
1 answer
Soak it in cold water it’ll come off. Then season your pan with a nigh smoke point oil as instructed, it’ll bake a non stick surface on your pan and you won’t have to worry about stuff sticking.

How could Pete Evans endorse this crap? That's a rhetorical question... $$$ Hope you sleep well at night Pete.
