Terrible BBQ

published

I chose this BBQ because of the full stainless steel design but I have to say that now after 3 months of use it is terrible. For the cost of this BBQ it has the worst flare ups which totally char anything you are trying to cook. Also one side of the BBQ is scorching hot and your meat quickly burns while moving your meat over 10cm nothing cooks. Save your money and buy a Weber.

Purchased in October 2021 at Winning Appliances for A$2,400.00.

Fingers Crossed

Im going to try a second one as the space I have for a built in cant be changed and nothing else fits.
The quality isnt as good as the Turbo I had. The control knobs rusted quickly the paint with the directions for the knobs wiped off after 2 months .

Disappointing

published

Seriously, i have had about 8 BBQs in my lifetime and this one is by far the worst.
I had to replace the grill after 1st use because the flare up makes it unusable.
Uneven heat - some parts dont even get warm while others cook your food to a crisp.
The flame often jumps behind the burners to where the jet is and the control knob becomes so hot it will take the skin off your fingers if you dont use a hot mitt.

When i purchased i was hoping all the other reviews where wrong...i should have listened.
I never post reviews normally but feel compelled to warn off any innocent potential purchaser. I will never buy a Beefeater BBQ again.

An great BBQ that gets nice and hot

published

I choose the 3000ss 5 burner because it is ALL stainless steel, right down to the cast stainless burners. Beefeater BBQ's are almost the only gear with cast burners (of any type). All others use paper thin low quality stainless that burns through in short order. This thing pumps out a massive amount of heat when turned up high, but can go slow and low with the hood down as well. The grills and grill plate are solid and well designed, with an easily accessible drip tray and good sized hood. Spare parts are easy to get a hold if required or desired. I have built my own cabinet to mount it in, and all dimensions were as per the box. Love it!

Very disappointing for a supposed premium BBQ

published

Very disappointed with this exoensive bbq. The build quality is ok but the design is poor. the tendency to flare and impart an unpleasant burnt taste to meat isvworse than I have seen in any BBQ. The hood directs smoke straight in the cook,s face. Heat is uneven, plus a litany ofother issues. Attempts to contact the company to discuss were met with stony silence.
Nothing really. It‘s a lemon. You can cook some things ok if you give it constant attention.
Pretty much beverything

My Beefeater Built-in 4 burner barbecue is the closest product I will get to owning with the caliber of a Bugatti Veyron! "Great looks, performance and handling." I am really proud to have this product built into in my newly constructed outdoor kitchen area. Highly recommended and like the Bugatti, money well worth spent.
This barbecue is visually impressive with solid construction; heats quickly; low splattering and low smoke emission. With hood on in roasting mode, it cooks evenly and retains a constant temperature. Brilliant barbecue!
Would like to have a greater area of flat hotplate cooking surface. Divided up, half of the barbecue is open flame grill, one quarter is a griddle-type hotplate and remaining quarter is flat hotplate area.

Probably a little late with this, but the hotplate is reversible, with the other side being all flat.

Yes - discovered this only a few weeks later when I was doing a clean. Still very happy with this product, but still have yet to use the rotisserie. #-)

It’s not great for the cost - lots of hot spots and flare ups. I used to have a Weber genesis and it was a much better BBQ
