I have been with this bank all my life but the customer service has progressively gotten worse, with very limited opening hours in branch, the only really option is to try your luck with the call centre. I’ve been waiting months for a call back and whenever I ring up, I’m told they will call but they never do. When I did find the time to go in branch, they were very unhelpful and actually encouraged me to switch banks! On top of their poor service, they seem to be the only bank charging monthly fees, I definitely would not recommend.

I’ve been with Bendigo for over 20 years and from what they were to now what they are is so different. The plus points that made Bendigo stand out from the others are gone, they have no grasp of when they shut down online banking at midnight est on Friday night a few times last summer it was 9pm in WA, the Uber I took out couldn’t be paid so I was out all night stranded because I couldn’t get another fare home. They also pulled these van outages without informing customers or I could have been prepared. Just one example of the way they treat cu...
Read morestomers and when I rang them they couldn’t care less that it was only 9pm here so not late yet still cutting off your access to your money and leaving you stranded until 7am Saturday morning when the put the site back up. This happened 3 times without warning but at the end of the day they don’t care. I’m leaving Bendigo as I’ve had enough but save yourselves the headache and choose a real bank not this play bank- Incentivised Review No

The customer service seemed to be ok initially UNTIL I started to withdraw money from my account : no one at Bendigo Bank EVER told me how I was breaching the terms and conditions of the account, or what I could do to correct any wrong doing. At one point I was singled out at the branch, taken to a separate room and asked what I was doing with the money (which was NONE of their business) I take exception when you get treated like a criminal.

Came to bank to exchange $1 and $2coins, but any service was denied because Im not your client. Went to other banks without any issues and apparently you are the only bank in Australia that refuses this service.
Not to mention all waiting time. Ridiculous!!!

Customer service at this branch is virtually non existent and wait times are not acceptable..

Trying to deposit small coin into my Bendigo Bank account should be simple, yes! Wrong. I am now going to yet another branch across town to attempt the seemingly impossible. I find dealing with this bank a continuing frustration.

Read morer. There we were, two old farts just wanting to deposit a small fortune into their little branch to help the community. Hah, what a joke. We though we were being filmed for a comedy TV show. We promptly took our custom and hundreds of thousands of super savings across the road where we were welcomed with open arms. So much for trying to support a local Community bank. Never ever bother with them again. Disgraceful behaviour. Senior management needs to have a serious look at policies and procedures.- Transparency

due to the bendigo banks mucking me around, i am refinancing my home loan through another lender, well they are refusing to accept the legal document (notice of discharge authority) it has been given to them twice, via email and in person, and they refuse to accept it, holding onto my home loan and refusing to allow me to refinance it through another lender even though i've been approved and signed the documents through another bank. the loan is ready to go. bendigo bank is refusing to accept it.

first, i had signed up to re-fix my home loan within the offer period for 2 years at 2.4% yet when they accepted the letter they put on 2.74% when questions they refused to honor the letter and said they had put up the rate 3 days after the letter was sent, so tuff luck. then i've applied for a personal loan for car repair, debt consolidation, and to pay out a couple of firearms that i'm purchasing legally.. got a call, first i was told everything was fine and my purchase of firearms would be fine. then another call and was told i would need to...

After previously banking with Commonwealth we moved to Bendigo Bank for a Mortgage on the recommendation of a friend and it has been the worst 2 years I have experienced with a bank. Every single request requires human input, if you call for a simple issue, you end up on hold while you are transferred to the branch you signed up at where the person you speak to most likely also can't solve any issue on the spot. We have since moved to one of the Big 4 banks and it's been a world of difference, will not be returning to Bendigo.

To everyone, this bank is owned by world's wealthiest people who have intentionally trippled the cost of living so they can get richer and cull the world's population. Putting everyday people into poverty is their goal. There are no banks in Australia that are not influenced somehow by these people. They also own fuel, food, media, medical industry, insurance industry, mining In fact they own everything hence are in control of the prices of everything. And be ready for electricity prices to surge and home and car insurance which is also owned b...
