I've had the ad on for one week and received one call although it received over 100 views. I regard this as a good strike rate. Admittedly the bike was described honestly and it is in very good original condition which the photographs supported.

It took a very long time to sell my bike, but in the end I got the price I was asking - and the buyer is very satisfied with his purchase.

Although I had one scammer trying to get my bike (the infamous "I am on an oil rig and cannot inspect the bike myself, so I will send an agent" type of scam), I had two seriously interested potential buyers, one of whom bought my bike. So a good result. I paid AU$45 until sold in the category of up to AU$4999 asking price.

.I found its the bench mark for all pricing aust wide. Lucky to find a buyer so fast as it was an older bike.
It was slow to list due to the red book saying my build year was the year (8 months ) before the bike was first sold. This resulted in my bike only being allowed to be listed a year older than its sold date.
