Good Morning Romeo, sometimes it will stop when there is too much produce jamming up in the drum? Are you able to put it in reverse? This normally works combined with unblocking and emptying the drum, then you can normally proceed as normal. If you are still having issues please contact us at [email protected] and someone can call you to go through some trouble shooting tips. Warmest Regards Bec Vitality4life

Hi captainKebab, Thank you for your question. The parts of this juicer are not dishwasher safe due to some parts having seals on them.
Kind Regards,

Hi I'm looking for a cold press juicer to juice whole apples and pears to make cider.

I would look to achieve around 20L to 25L output per batch by juicing whole granny smith or similar medium to hard flesh apples and/or pears.

Ive worked it out to roughly 260 apples or pears or 120kg of fruit per batch

Could you advise is the motor on the Biochef Atlas rated to run for long enough periods to process the required amount of fruit or will I need to stop and start the unit to get it done. (im wondering about overheating and/or overload issues)

Also could you advise approximately how many liters per hour the machine is capable of delivering say if I was to put apples through it for an hour straight. Thanks!

Hi Andrew, Apologies for the late reply to your question. With regards to your question i believe that your best option would be to look at purchasing an actual cider press based on the large amount of produce you are looking to process. If you require any further assistance or have any further questions please feel free to contact us on 1800 802 924. Kind Regards, Vitality 4 Life

Hi, I am going to purchase a juicer from you and I would like to understand the difference between the synergy and the Atlas. Also, what would you suggest between the Synergy and the regular jucer, the one with the handle on the back? (I've found them both in a store for 150 pounds and was wondering what you would reccomend).

Hi Giongatto, Thank you for your question. The Synergy has been voted the best value by our staff here due the the price and the great quality juice ! The difference between the Atlas and the Synergy is that the Atlas offers you complete juicing kit to inspire and get you started with your juicing. You receive a free gifts of a Foodmatters DVD which contains lots of inspiration, a twin set of ceramic knives ensuring that when you prepare your ingredients for juicing you are doing so with as little oxidisation as possible and you will also receive a bamboo chopping board. The motor on the Atlas is a lifetime on motor with the Synergy at 10 years, both have a 5 year parts warranty. In relation to functionality performance is equal with matching motor power and a fine and coarse screen included with both juicers.

The BioChef Slow Juicer was released to offer a great value to those customers wanting an introduction into cold press juicing, the range has now expanded and offers other options for those new to cold press juicing as well. The BioChef Slow Juicer has a 3 year warranty, a recipe book and a fine and coarse juicing screen as well.

I hope this helps but please feel free to email us direct on [email protected] with your contact details and we would be happy to touch base with further recommendations based on your individual needs.
