Deep tread good price
Reasonably priced tyres but are made in China but most tyres are now. Soft rubber compound which I have found make the car twitchy on the road especially if fitted to the rear. I've only done 5,000kms on these tyres so far and seem to be wearing ok. These tyres are good if your on a budget.

i haven't had a flat tyre in years and i don't mind saying when my new car got a 3 inch nail in the tyre i drove into the nearest bob janes at edgecliff with great trepidation that i was going to be hit up for a fortune and new tyre, however all my fears were layed to rest when i was welcomed at the door, the chap on the desk listened to my situation and explained with a small model on the desk that the positioning of the nail would only require a$50.00 repair i was back on the road in no time, subsequently i didn't miss my appointment, and the

I bought a set of 4 for the price of 3 from Bob Jane about X months ago for my N15 Pulsar, and I must admit I am very pleased with the performance so far, especially in this super windy/wet winter we seem to be having.
The grip is good, and the tread is holding strong. Braking feels much safer, especially in the rain.
The salesperson told me the tyres were designed by Bridgestone, which is a huge plus considering the price you would pay for Bridgestone branded ones. They even threw in a wheel balance check after the first three months fo

Bob Jane all rounders are my first choice in tyres... these were a big improvement over what my existing tyres were, the all rounders seem to be really good in all terrain especially wet. I wouldn't put on a high powerful car or a track car but for daily use on a small people mover they should do the job well enough and at pretty good value

Good all round tyre
These tyre have zero on road noise and are a very cost effective tyre. Good tyre pattern that are comparable to the more expensive tyre brands. Great control and water dispersion in wet road conditions. Theses tyres came in alot cheaper than competitors tyres snd time will tell on wear and tear
Show detailsNot very long lasting
Disappointed with the quality of these tyres. Plus they make you wait so long at Bob Jane. Then if you are not on to it they bring the car out and leave it there. It is up to you to get up and tell them it is finished can I take my car now. I had to wait an hour and a half. When I told him it had been sitting there for fifteen minutes out the front after I had all up been there an hour and a half he said "Oh that's not long."
Show detailsCheap but a bit noisy
I purchased a set of bob jane all rounders about three months ago. I only grazed a gutter when pulling up and it ripped a hole in the side of the tyre after a week however it was replaced due to a warranty. Apart from that they are very noisy when driving through the Adelaide hills and passengers often comment about it.
Show detailsAffordable and decent
I purchase these tyres for my Nissan Pulsar N15, had them for about a year now. Previous cheap tyres I had cracked on sidewalls quickly. But these ones have gripped better in the wet and I have found they show much less signs of wear. Conscious they aren't the best tyres available but value for money is pretty good! Would recommend

Affordable, long lasting
The All Rounder is suited to Australian conditions. They're tough enough to be durable for local roads and will generally provide 2 years of regular annual driving conditions, They wear uniformly and have a good grip in normal rain conditions. An affordable tyre for your regular driving on suburban roads.
Show detailsBest Cheap tires I have ever used.
I had 4 fitted for the price of three quite cheap (Well Under $400). They balanced up well with only two small weights required (Overall) on cast alloy wheels compared to the Dunlop's that were on the car before that had weights on every wheel. Every one fitted has held pressure without the need to add any air for the past 9 months. They ride well and are quiet on my car. I have done about 15000kms on them so far and they appear to me like they will only be good for around 45000 ~ 55000kms. No towing but a loaded up car for about 5000km's hig
... Read morehway use the rest around town. To sum up they are not bad but are no a very long wearing tire and are not a premium grip tire either. Safe enough though as they loose grip at surprisingly high loads and in the wet they can be forced to slip and slide but I found this to be also very gradual and they responded quickly to a reduction of load. I wouldn't use them in the snow though.Deadliest Tyres and should be banned from sale
These are the worst types I have ever experienced. You have to do 20 kilometers per hour on tight bends in wet conditions or you lose control of the car. How can anyone be selling a product so deadly. Bob Jane you should be ashamed of yourself and offer people their money back in these tyres. In fact people should complain to the office of fair trading.

Great tyres for price
Bought during 4 for price of 3 promotion last month. Have had these before on different vehicle. Very good value and last well, the last ones lasted for 45000km of mostly city driving.
Good in wet and good handling well suited to budget conscious buyers looking for good value tyres.
Good Value
Purchased these tyres for a vehicle that is not used very often. We were offered a deal of buy 3 get 1 free, fitted and balanced. They seem to be good tyres so far, they are quiet, handle well and look good. The service was excellent, the could not have been more helpful at Bob Jane Dandenong. We will definately buy these again.

I dont understand some people, I drive a SV8 commodore, can really put demand on these tyres, yeah sure they ain't Bridgestones however made by Bridgestone, In wet conditions 4 out of 5, they are fair in round abouts. Dry conditions same 4 out of 5, why 4 . Becouse you can hear them battlimg inder hard cornering.. my true opinion for a cheap tyre they are value for money. Now either Bridgestone has improved on the tyres or they dont suit smaller cars.. i do have a 6 ltr v8 pushing them hard on the road.. some times under reasonable throttling
... Read morethey may make traction control kick in.. the tyres in question where made in 2016 if you're able to understand the tryre codings .. seems as they will last a good 30 40k I'm yet to do 20k. Yes for an unkown reason they carry bad reviews.. my thinking is maybe those people's may of had extremely expensive tyres prior to buying these, like Michelins or continentals or better, I think if that's the case that would be why they have high expectations from these tyres. I don't and never would work for Bob Janes .. especially how he treats his father... but guys really these are good value for money. Cheers. Drive safely.A good economical tyre
Good long lasting tyres (Eighty thousand kilometers when the car was sold and still sufficient wear left to pass the Queensland roadworthy examination). But ... care needed on wet roads especially when fitted to a rear wheel drive car! Road noise was very acceptable and apart from the tendency for the rear of the car to step "out" on sharp bends (on wet roads) a very good buy.
Show detailsExcellent Grip And long lasting!
I don't understand the negative reviews.
About 3 years ago I bought my current vehicle, a 2002 Mitsubishi sports wagon, came with Bob Jane Allrounders with ABOUT 3 quarters to half tread left.
Got another 60 K out of them, no problems whatsoever.
3 days ago I bought 4 new Bob Jane All Rounders for $387 including fitting, balance AND alignment, went to work that night. The car just seemed surer on the road, and ZERO tyre spin, which I was getting with the old tyres.
What confirmed for me they are good tyres is turning right on a roundabout in the wet, with ZERO sliding! I went around like it was dry!
So, it's down to the driver, as I must be a very good one :)
Show detailsBuyer beware! Rubbish grip, average KMs & poor quality.
Great value but cheap Chinese tyres. They're sticky for the first 5-10k but then the rest of the compound becomes hard. I've had 6 tyres and came to the same conclusion as my father. Crap tyre with little grip in the wet once mildly worn. The grip isn't much better during the dry and after countless aquaplaning at low speeds it's not worth it. These tyres are the reason I had my first accident. I've only got lucky of the years because I engine break. Disregard all the positive reviews. The reality is that you get what you pay for. You don't spe
... Read morend $200-$300+ per mud terrain tyre just because they don't work. I spent little because my car is worth little but it's not worth the risk to your life. If you can get wheel spin in the wet while taking off from the lights at low RPMs driving gently when no other car ever around you has the same issue, there is a problem. I can look at all of my tires and regardless of which corner tyre I look at, I can see the rubber degrading on the sidewalls. You've been warned, this isn't exaggeration or alarmism but the simple truth.Depends on the car
Bob Jane's all rounder tyres may suit larger cars better. I've used them on Falcons for years and found them to be excellent. Great grip, no squeal. I pushed them to their limits. Just great.
I think the people that have issues, the problem is the car, not the tyres.
Please avoid
NO traction in the dry, had a huge amount of over steer trying to corner at 20 k's even with 30 psi in the tyres before the short drive! Only got the set of tyres before Christmas with a wheel alignment which was out when I drove it! Absolutely terrible! DEFINITELY wouldn't recommended to anyone, hardly travelled 5,000 k's and I lose a lot of traction, squealing around a flat corner in the dry.
Show detailsDangerous in the wet
I bought 4 All Rounders tyres a while ago and since then I have skidded on wet roads several times now. they were quite a bit more expensive than ones I usually buy. I now feel scared to drive when its wet as if I have to brake hard, I skid. I feel like I am an accident waiting to happen. I have been driving for over 30 years and have never skidded before until I bought the All rounders. Even though they have alot of life left I am seriously thinking of buying new ones. and definitely they will not be All Rounders.
It happened again
... Read more this afternoon, while braking at traffic lights, I actually went into a Bob Jane store nearby to ask them about it but they just said it was because of oily roads..... well its happened too many times for that to be the case.Great tyre life
I do a heap of highway driving in my commodore and was a bit unsure about buying after seeing these reviews on here. However, With regular rotation and running at the right pressure I'm now down to 40% tread after 55,000km. Definitely worth the price! If you're not doing winding mountain roads, grab them!
Show detailsDangerous tyre - Never ever buy this tyre
This tyre should be banned from Australian roads. and it should be illegal to have them fitted to your car.
I purchased a Hyundai Getz with 175/65/R14 tyres fitted. On wet roads the tyres are deadly, they have absolutely no traction at all.
I have subsequently fitted 2 X Bridgestones to the front of the car. The car has now spun out 3 times while navigating roundabouts. (Before I get flamed for bad driving, these have occurred while driving slower than the rest of the traffic, as I am aware of how poor these tyres are on wet roads.)
Pos: They Have a good life span.
Cons: Poor/dangerous handling in the wet.
Better than the original fitment
I have installed a set of these on my Wife's 2011 Camry Hybrid after being impressed with a low profile version on my former Mercedes A160. I can say that those tyres were really good and much, much cheaper than the Michelin replacements that were specified for that car.
Impressions on these tyres on a family sedan are that they handle a lot better than the Dunlops that were fitted to the car when we purchased it. The Dunlops were probably the originals as the car has just ticked over 60,000. The extreme roll the car suffered from has gone
A solid commuter tyre
I have been running on Bob Jane All rounders (175/65R14) for coming on 100,000km - now on the second set (first two).
The first set had slightly harder rubber than the second pair (bought almost four years later) but I never had any issue cornering in the wet or driving long distances at 100 or 110kph so long as the air pressure was correct. The newer pair of tyres are slightly softer (even given the age) but seem to last well despite that. If I remember correctly, I have got about 80,000 km out of one pair of Bob Jane All rounders so far
... Read moreand I still have significant tread available. I do tend to be pretty good about balance and rotation and I keep an eye on tyre pressure, so YMMV, literally. I do about 650km per week, so they get a good workout at highway speeds but somewhat less mileage city driving. I originally purchased these tyres for two reasons - 1. I understand that they were (at least in 2013) rebranded Bridgestone tyres, so trusting Bridgestone and not all-rounders makes no sense. If you would buy Bridgestones, then an equally suitable tyre style in All Rounders should provide the same quality and save you money. 2. There is a "Road Hazard Warranty" on these tyres where punctures are repaired free of charge at Bob Jane and an unrepairable tyre with significant tread still on it earns a discount as a proportion of the available tread for a replacement tyre (for example, sidewall damage on a tyre with at least 75% tread available on it will be replaced free of charge, and with less than 75% available tread will give a pro-rata discount on a replacement BJAR - for example, with 30% tread you will get a 30% discount). I have claimed twice so far on the free puncture repair, netting me a saving of half the cost of a new tyre overall.Wouldn't buy these again
I have a set of the 175/65R14 on my Honda Jazz. I have had two tyres get side wall punctures within the last 12 months from suburban driving on bitumen roads at speeds under 60km/h. I will not purchase these tyres in future or recommend them to anyone else. The first puncture I put down to bad luck but now that it's happened to another one I've lost faith in Bob Jane Tyres and their All-rounders now and won't go there again.
Great shopping trolley tyre!
Good value for money tyre! 195/65R15 for Mazda 3 Shopping Trolley! Well balanced as little lead need on installation and on par with OEM factory Bridgestone B250 for noise level! 5% gain on fuel consumption and cheap! Tyre pressure 34psi cold! Performance well let's not go there as I don't race shopping trolleys!
Literally the worst tyre I have ever experienced - wet or dry
I have owned over 18 cars in my 35 yrs of eligible driving years.
I picked up a used Honda Accord for a commute car. Bob Jane All rounders were on the car as purchased. Ive never seen such horrible traction in wet AND dry. The rubber compound is very hard and provides none to little traction.
Head into a turn in the wet at below speed limits and you can feel the fronts give up to mild understeer in even the most slowest turns.
These Chinese made piles of crap should never be allowed on Australian roads. AVOID at all costs
Excellent Value and Performance
Being that I come from an automotive background I am fussy when it comes to tyres. After purchasing many leading brand tyres for years I came to buying All Rounders after finding they were on average $50 cheaper a tyre than what I previously bought for my cars. These tyres are quiet with excellent high and low speed grip and handle just as good as Bridgestone. with this they come with a brilliant Warranty and service plan with the first wheel alignment for free. I now have changed all of my vehicles tyres to these and find them to be a safe tyre for my family to ride around on.

Dangerous
One of my cars is a BA Falcon that had Pirelli P7's on it which I found fantastic, when it came for time to replace I stupidly let Bob Jane staff talk me into these dangerous horrible tyres. Bought them during a dry period and found they were easily breaking traction in the dry, a bad sign, then came the rain and the car was slewing all over the place, could not get any grip. Needless to say I drove straight back to Bob Jane and made them take those deathtraps off my car and put another set of P7's on and I only had to pay the difference. Avoid!!
Does what it says. No problems so far
I was looking for a new set of tyres for my Corolla. I was surprised that they are really cheap, so I gave them a go. I fitted my Corolla with a new set of 4 tyres last year just before the tropical wet season here in Darwin. I had no problems so far. It has been raining here quite regularly (i.e. every day) and I had no dramas.
Cheap
Good long lasting tyres
I've owned this tyres through 4 different cars over 20 years. I own 1988 Nissan Pintara runs on All Rounder 185.75R14 for 6 years at least 98,000 km about to expired still handling very well over the years in any condition without mishaps. The previous 3 cars last at least 5 years...
very reliable if you know how to drive!
nothing wrong... lucky to have good tyres than faulty one!
Absolute rubbish. Waste of money.
I have had two sets of these and both have failed dismally. One set was on a van I purchased and the other on a tandem trailer. 3 out of the 4 on the van had the tread separate from the body. 2 on the trailer did the same and one lost a big chunk of rubber. Luckily in all cases apart from one with the trailer I was able to stop and change the wheel before it blew or lost the tread completely.
These tyres are a big safety issue and I don't know how Bob Jane are still in business. If you value yours and your family's safety, do not fit Bob Jane
tyres.

215/65r14s on my VK Commodore wagon when I bought it and have been impressed by the grip/handling in wet and dry conditions. I live in Tassie so we get a fair bit of both (often in one day!!) and these tyres hang on really well and when they are pushed beyond their capabilities they let go in a very civilised manner. The old allrounders had a bad name in some circles so I'm glad these were already fitted or I may have gone for expensive others next time. Good on you Bob!!
Good grip in wet and dry conditions
OK
Overall have been very happy with this set of tyres and would have no problem in recommending to others to buy these tyres for your vehicle.
The biggest pro about these tyres has to be the price in that they compare very favourably with a number of other tyres on the market and for what you pay for them they seem to be very capable tyres that have a good amount of tread on them and that you would expect them to last for a while which they do.
The profile of them is higher than some of the more expensive tyres on the market and for that reason they do look a bit cheaper.
Good in the dry but in the wet they will make you cry!
Had these tyres for 10k, recently started to rain and I could fully test them and they are frightening in the wet! No traction especially in a ute or wagon which is light in the back? What price do you put on your life?
Ok in the dry
Dangerous in the Wet, no traction
How can these kind of rubbish tyre be introduced to Australia?
Risking people life, BJ put a high mark up for famous branded tyre and put a cheaper price for BJ branded tyres to attract customer to chose them. Horrible business
All utes are light in the back without load check your tyre pressure too these tyres are good all rounders
i have bob jane all rounders on the back of my au falcon trayback and have no issues in the wet
Good
Not a bad value for money tyre if bought on special for $140 with a road hazard damage warranty included, but 215x60-16 tyres are not common on a lot of cars making them low volume sellers with a price around $200 full price for other brands that are only bog standard factory fitted units like NCT 5 costing half the price for early model cars with smaller 14"-15" wheels.
A set of no brand tyres for $110 would be worth steering clear of before Bob Jane Allrounders.
Ride, tyre noise and even tyre wear were a surprise on our BA Falcon. This set
All Rounders mean just that! Not perfect, but better than a lot of others.
I've used these tyres for the last 15 years and found them to be consistent in all areas. I live in a rural area with various road surface types, from loose gravel, hard rock to both poor and good bituman surface. Travel about 45000 Klm's p.a. and average 40000 Klm's a set. Some 'hard'driving involved, lots of tight curves and open road higher speed. Maybe it's my driving style, who knows? Definetly a good 'all rounder' for me.
Consistency
No complaints
Fitted at the same time as 4 new shock absorbers Dec 2010 and since driven 17,000 km mostly highway in NSW, Vic and Tas in wet and dry conditions, very winding roads in very wet conditions and some gravel roads. No complaints at all.
Value for money and reliable.
Terrible
These are without a doubt the worst tyre I have had the misfortune of using. I recently bought an Audi a4 b7 3.2 litre quattro from a dealer and unfortunately these tyres were already fitted to my vehicle. From a standing start the lose traction immediately upon take off and the wet the provide no grip at all. My car is all wheel drive and I do not feel safe with these tyres. I am not even waiting for the tyres to wear out before replacing them, they are that bad. For your safety do not purchase these tyres or use them even if you get the for free.
Nothing they are the worst tyre
No grip, unsafe in the wet and dry

I was very happy at how well the tyres handle on my Ford Au Station wagon as well as good cornering. The big beef I had was the constant punctures I got while driving occasionally on blue metal roads.
... Read more 12 in 12 months. It says All rounders on tyre. Not sure whether this is a warning or not! No offer from BJ to exchange or explain! My Kumho's on my other car travel the same roads and have never had a puncture! I guess you get what you pay for. Service from Bob Jane excellent in all 3 states I was in when getting punctures. 3 of the punctures on tyres were outside the repair zone. 2 they repaired without charge. I have spent over $150 for 2 tyre repairs.
