BE CAREFUL!
Hi there, i bought my Bosch self cleaning oven less than two years ago and i was running a self cleaning cycle as per usual after making chicken pasta bake. To my horror, my daughter brought it to my attention that it was smoking, which to that i responded that it was normal as it was burning the food particles, but then she also informed me that there were flames at the top of the oven. Even though i switched the oven off the flames were still alight and now we were in fear that we couldn't open the door to use the fire extinguisher, therefore
... Read more having to completely shut off the electricity to the whole house, but prior to that, there was an explosion and a spark that took place inside the oven. Finally the fire subsided, but something blew in it. Thank god for my son's quick thinking, otherwise it could've been much much worse.
Fantastic, easy to use
We purchased one of these ovens for our old house, after the original one packed it in. It was a fantastic replacement. Cooked beautifully, cleans itself and looks fantastic. Loved it so much that when we saw a demo version on sale, we purchased it for our rental, our tenant loves it as well.
