My oven cannot be used because the sensor panel will not respond to touch. I cannot access the types of heating, or any other functions. I can only turn it on and turn it off. A technician from a local electrical company came out over a week ago, confirmed that the panel is not working and is supposed to be ordering a part. No communication and probably not likely to hear from them as they inferred that parts are hard to find and most likely over a $1000. Should I pull it out or is there another solution to removing this oven and getting one I can use?

Thank you for your response. It will cost me $930 to replace the panel as advised by a Bosch repairer. I have chosen to ditch the oven and purchase another brand. Thank you.

Hi. ! My touch panel is not working correctly. I want to access "Basic Settings" menu button. It will not respond when you touch the sensor button. I have tried touching the "Basic Settings" button using a number of different pressure and length of time. I have also now found that the "Clean button" is also is not responding. Using other menu options I have found these 2 buttons either do not work or take sometime to respond. I did have a service person come out some 8 months ago with a similar problem I was having with the Oven. I was advised by a Bosch technician that keeping the surface clean and dry helps, plus the way that you touch the sensor button may effect the buttons response. Things seemed to work for a little while. Now the problems have returned, only worse. The oven is now only 30 months old ! Have turned it off at the house fuse box a number of times but no change.
I would be interested in any thoughts before I put in another "Service request" Which obviously will cost me. Any ideas ?

My oven is about 2 years old and absolutely love cooking with it. The rotary select dial has all of a sudden become very hard to rotate. I have to try and hold the edge of the dial with my finger nails to get it to move but it is vary hard to adjust. Any ideas on what I can do or do I need a service call?
Thanks

When cooking with steam, my oven keeps stopping. Every. Two. Minutes. To ask to add water to the water tank. I have half filled, fully filled, take out and put in each time the oven asks but it still keeps stopping. Every. Two. Minutes. How can this be rectified? I have only been using the oven for 7 months and it always stops. Every. Two. Minutes.

I have a Bosch oven model HR6767.2A, and some of the touch screen displays no longer respond to touch (the ones on the left hand side), so I am unable to select these options. Consequently I cannot access many of the oven functions, eg 4D hot air, etc.
How can this be fixed?

From what I’ve read - E6400 is about a ventilation flap not opening when the oven heats up. Contact your Bosch help and under warranty they should come out and fix it I imagine

I dont use the steam injector function because the oven collects a huge amount of steam anyway which when roasting hits you in the face when you open the door. If there are lots of vegetables they end up with a couple of cm of liquid in the tray and I have to pour out and grill to crisp up. The pumpkin is mushy and not caramelised. While the oven is very good for keeping food moist it is frustratingly hard to crisp things such as pizza or roast veges especially when cooking a big load Is there a way to expel the moisture when cooking? Or a specific setting?

thanks for suggestion but I always cook with steam level on "0". If no-one else has reported this problem could it be a ventilation issue? (I never cover the vents inside the oven)

We have the most current model (HRG6767S2A) and after using the pyro clean for the first time (2 weeks after purchase) we now have no interior lights working! We contacted the good guys concierge and have had a call from Bosch telling us a repair man would call within 48hrs. It's now been 1.5 weeks and we still haven't heard from the technician (the good guys concierge has rang a couple of times chasing it up but each time they've said they will call the technician and get it sorted)! My question is, is the oven safe to still use? I'm so heartbroken that we spent just over $3000 for an oven that has something wrong already!
