I was very happy with my nachine, until the sensor control button keeps cutting in every couple of minutes.
I clean the filter and empty the bin, start again, and then it cuts out. Can't go for more than about 2 minutes.
Surely a vacuum cleaner should have a relatively long lifespan.
We have a nearly 40 year old Sanyo vacuum cleaner we now use to clean the car and it is still going strong.
What can be done to fix my Bosch? URGENTLY

The hose has split around the coil near where it feeds into the hard plastic handhold that connects to the metal tubing. There appears to be two buttons, one on either side as some form of release mechanism for the tubing from the hard plastic. These buttons do not seem to press in, or release the tubing.
Can you advise on how to release the tubing, and if replacing the hose might be a warranty claim - it was bought in Dec 2014.

This is not the same model as mine was, though there's a two year warranty as far as I know. Id imagine you should be able to get something done with your vacs hose if you act before December.

Sorry for the delay been away. I have tried my cleaner and am unable to release mine either. Yes you should make a warranty claim. Good luck

My Bosch Relaxx'x Hepa 2200 W constantly reduces suction or stops frequently the dust barrel & filter is emptied & cleaned frequently been like this since new. Should have returned it as its very frustrating I was very ill for a long time after purchase. Only thought to look up if it is a common fault it doesn't seem to be mentioned in the feed back notes. Are you able to replace or recommend how to correct this problem?

My vacuum keeps self cleaning about 6 times in a clean.
I clean out the filter after every vac.
Are there filters I am missing to clean?

Melysa Judd
Melysa Judd ·

Hi Donna,
Yes, apparently there are 5 filters!! The shop assistant only showed me 2 filters, if I had know that it had 5 I would never had bought this vacuum. I was so fed up I went and bought a different one.
Here's a link to the manual: https://portalcn.bsh-partner.com/portal(bD1kZSZjPTAwOQ==)/PORTALFRAME.HTM
Hope this helps. :)

how do you open the lid to empty the barrel?

gecko

Yes...not really any problems there. Got to say though, could be tricky ar times.

I'm not sure which part you mean, on the top at the back of the machine you lift the leaver up that's for the first part then on the canister there is a red button you push then it opens once you take the filter out and empty the barrel you need to turn the filter so the two pieces come apart which is not very easy the first time. I hope I have helped. Debb

Hi, Reading previous reviews of the Relaxx vacuum cleaner noticed that people have been complaining over the falling off at the slightest bump of the three-way tool for over a year. You state that 'We stand by the quality and design of all of our products' yet seemingly have done nothing to rectify this issue! May I ask why?

Maz2704
Maz2704 ·

Hi Boglar, thanks for your question but I don't think I am the right person to be asking. I am a consumer of the Bosch vacuum cleaner, not an employee of Bosch in which case I have no capacity to influence the re-design of the equipment. I don't believe I personally would have made any reference to the three-way tool falling off as I don't have that piece attached. I admit I have other issues with the vacuum but the three-way tool isn't one of them. Maybe if you direct your query to Bosch customer service they may wish to respond to your question.

Hi Maz2704, looks like something got crossed over, my apologies! I was posting the question from my phone and it looked like it was directed at a Bosch representative... I'll try again! Btw I had absolutely no luck with their Customer Service department! - Kind regards

Hi Boglar, Sorry you got the wrong person, again. I am the person who purchased and complained about the lemon of a vacuum cleaner (not a Bosch representative). But I totally agree with your question and am pretty annoyed by the pointless reply I received from the Bosch customer service (via this blog and via email). Empty words, no help at all, they just want to look good. I have a pretty useless vacuum cleaner collecting dust as it simply is too cumbersome to use the darn thing. Good Luck with trying to get an answer.
