Biggest mistake I have made

published

I bought this 3 years ago and have had no end of trouble. It stops with the red light after every few minutes of vacuuming. Now 3 years later it just died. Wont turn on at all. My old dyson lasted 15 years. This was a bother to clean as well. I wont be buying Bosch again.

Purchased in April 2021 at Harvey Norman for $479.00.

Should have bought a Dyson

published

I paid more than $500 for this vacuum cleaner and get the red sensor light up after only a few minutes of vacuuming. I have called the help line three times. Cleaned and washed the fillter. Made sure all pipes are clear, cleared the dust in the container. I even removed the hepa filter.

I would expect this to last more than a few years.

I see many other people have made this same mistake and have the same issue.

I will be taking a hammer to mine.

sensor control comes on every 30 seconds!!

published

I am vacumming for the second time only and the sensor control light comes on every 30 seconds despite being emptied and washed!! this is ridiculous! Please! I CAN'T GET THE PLACE VACUMMED!!
I thought for the price I'd paid for this machine that it would be faultless! However, this does not seem to be the case

Hate this vacuum

published

Purchased this vacuum cleaner three months ago as it was recommended to me by the salesman at Harvey Norman The worst vacuum cleaner i have ever bought in forty three years. It is quiet, but so difficult to maneuver around. It is so heavy. Never buy bosch again. Should have gone with first choice. Dyson

Very powerful

published

Suction power is excellent, quiet vacuum ever seen. But bad part is the power cord automatically pulls in as soon as it snags around furniture. The part where the hand grips the pipe is far too large in diameter.
Other than that it is no other complains. Recommend others to buy it.

Rubbish

published

I'm annoyed that I let the Harvey Norman staff talk me out of replacing my Miele with another. Purchased this instead and only a few months down the track, the rubber has come off one of the wheels so it pulls unevenly and has to be dragged across the tiles.

Quiet and powerful.

published

The most quietest and most powerful vacuum cleaner we've ever owned even more powerful than the DC28 and Vax Zen we had put together. Highest setting sucks the carpet off the floor also the noise at the head is noisier than the vacuum cleaner itself but is not a problem once you adjust the speed for normal use. The head accepts bigger debris without wanting to block up. The body has a quality look and feel about it hope it lasts the power cord wants to retract when caught up on furniture and accessories tool falls off at slightest bumps but that's least of our worries. Easy to empty the canister and stows away nicely. Very nice vacuum cleaner it's the best we've had.

Great vacuum

published

Great vacuum which is very powerful yet still pretty quiet. Only complaint is that the wand is a little shorter than I was used to and the auto retract cord can be a bit sensitive. Other aspects more than make up for that though. Love the ease of attaching/detaching heads and the quick 'clean' for the filter. Definitely recommend.

Thanks for the reply - I already have the Relaxx model (hence the review) and it is certainly really great value for money - I was lamenting my own choice to not pay the extra for the better turbo head option :)

excellent vacuum

published

Not normally one to post a review, I absolutely love this vacuum, and had used product review to select the brand before purchasing. It picks up way more than our previous vacuum (a good quality 12 yr old AEG). It is easy to use and not too heavy. I wanted bagless but thought the dyson felt very 'plasticy'. We have very thick carpets and rugs so bags would fill quickly. This vacuum makes it very easy to remove the fluff. It has way more suction. I was given the extra head for thick carpets (Harvey Norman WBJ) which works well.
suction, bagless, easy to use
could be a little on the heavy side but not a problem

The hose has split around the coil near where it feeds into the hard plastic handhold that connects to the metal tubing. There appears to be two buttons, one on either side as some form of release mechanism for the tubing from the hard plastic. These buttons do not seem to press in, or release the tubing.
Can you advise on how to release the tubing, and if replacing the hose might be a warranty claim - it was bought in Dec 2014.

This is not the same model as mine was, though there's a two year warranty as far as I know. Id imagine you should be able to get something done with your vacs hose if you act before December.

Sorry for the delay been away. I have tried my cleaner and am unable to release mine either. Yes you should make a warranty claim. Good luck

My Bosch Relaxx'x Hepa 2200 W constantly reduces suction or stops frequently the dust barrel & filter is emptied & cleaned frequently been like this since new. Should have returned it as its very frustrating I was very ill for a long time after purchase. Only thought to look up if it is a common fault it doesn't seem to be mentioned in the feed back notes. Are you able to replace or recommend how to correct this problem?
