Low quality polycarbonate bowl
Kitchen Wizz 15 Pro BFP800SHB (Sherbet)The bowl doesn't live up to the powerful motor base. Bought the processor 3 years ago and only used approximately 15 times in all. The base of the large processing bowl noticed to have a 1cm hairline crack where the spindle is mounted. Rang Breville Customer Service to report its faulty only to found out that the bowl and the lid have no warranty on it what so ever. Although my processor is out of repair warranty period but the motor base still have another 22 years warranty on it . One would have though as powerful as the motor is, the bowl w

I have to rethink about replacing the bowl or buy another brand new processor of another trusted brand.Incredible motor, flimsy plastic bowls/blades, easily scratched finish
Kitchen Wizz 15 Pro BFP800SHB (Sherbet)I purchased this throughHarvey Norman in early 2015. It was the beautiful blue colour. Within weeks, the finish scratched when being placed back into the cupboard. Breville were unhelpful.
Since then, I go through Love/hate phases with it. For some time it sat idle as I bought a thermomix. Now that I have sold that, it’s back on the bench and being used regularly.
We have had to replace the mini bowl, blades, chipping disc and the main bowl has crazed. The storage container plastic hinge also broke quickly.
Whilst it has lasted, I definitely
Electronic failure, parts broke.
Kitchen Wizz 15 Pro BFP800SHB (Sherbet)2 months after purchase pusher cracked. 10 months after purchase it stopped turning on. Called Harvey Norman who sent me to repairer. Took 4 weeks to fix as breville too so long to send parts. It was the circuit board or something. They had to replace all 3. 3 weeks after I got it back the French fry blade broke... a plastic bit on it. Called breville who said it was a 'consumable' and would cost $45 plus $10 shipping. That's more than 10% of the whole purchase price after 12 months and very little use. I told them it shouldn't have broken if i

Kitchenaid next time. Don't listen to 12 month warranty lies. A food processor should last at least 5 years. You shouldn't be expected to fork put $450 every year for another poor quality food processor! According to Australian Consumer Law, you should expect reasonable durability from products you buy depending on what it is... a fridge should last more than 5 years, for example, and you shouldn't have to pay for a fake 'warranty'.Questions & Answers
Does the food processor not work unless the pusher is in the shoot? This is strange behavior. It basically means I have to start and stop the machine whenever I add more veggies. Also I can't seem to pulse. I don't want it to start until I'm ready. It puréed my onions as soon as I put the pusher in when i just wanted a quick pulse. I didn't seem able to control when it went on and off. Can anyone help? The mechanism is counter-intuitive. So far I'm very unhappy with my purchase.
Hi Tania - the processor will not work without the pusher for safety reason. Customer service will be able to provide advise for use - please call 1300 139 798. Thanks, the Breville team
