I had come in to look at prams with a rough idea on what I wanted. Annie and Brian were really helpful. Ended up with the Joolz geo2 at a great price.

Avoid bubs n grubs
Absolutely disgusting store to deal with. I would warn any persons thinking of shopping at this store to avoid them at all costs. After been given misleading information about a pram, we put forward half of the price which is quite a few hundred dollars, after looking further into the product we found that it was not the exact pram that was stated and asked simply for a refund of the money so we could put it towards the correct pram. There customer support team emailed us and blatantly refused to give a refund although it was a phone order and no terms and conditions were ever read out nor was any paperwork signed they still say it was in there agreed terms. Absolutely disgusted that such a simple mishap has turned into a massive fight and the simplest of resolutions was not come to. Avoid shopping at this store. ad made a mistake we were also told that we could get a refund to which your “customer help desk” reverted on. The business had not removed the advert as 3 days later the Gregory was still advertised on sale which was meant to be a Boxing Day only sale, another factually incorrect statement from bubs and grubs. There have been no false allegations and that will all come out in due time with the relevant authorities.The only time wasted has been via your business decision to refuse the refund although no goods have been exchanged the pram is still there where you can re sell it. As per my previous review for anyone thinking of shopping at bubs and grubs I would highly recommend giving them a miss and to spend your hard earnt dollars at a more reputable store. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Go to a reputable retailer!
I wish we read the reviews before buying an expensive cot and tallboy from them. Absolutely discraceful after sales service, refuse to replace or even REPAIR a faulty item. Accused us of threatening behaviour because we were upset and want to go down there with the cot and receive a refund! From the looks of reviews, the owner replies to all the same way. Accuses them, says he listens to recorded conversations and views footage instore of complaining customers! I have a daughter sleeping in a portacot because their cot wont go together properly, refuse to pick up unless its diassambled and repacked (we paid $200 to have assembled). Avoid at ALL COSTS! We will simply will go to fair trading and write it off as a terrible purchase decision

Employees need customer service skills
I reluctantly went into Bub n Grubs store. I was reluctant because of all the negative reviews given, but none the less I couldn't view a pram I was interested in anywhere else because they are the only queensland stockists. The sales woman who helped us was initially lovely in store. Went through everything on the pram, but ended up liking different pram in store. Told a certain colour they had was in stock. nd was told another colour $500 cheaper and it would take at most a week to get in. So I agreed but asked what the terms were and again told no more than a week, at no point did the piece of paper I was told to sign here on - with a finger point - get turned over. Had I done this I would have seen the novel of terms and conditions attached. The sales woman also kept sprooking about a free nappy bag which I didn't really care for. So I go home and look up what I've purchased on the brands website to see a cheaper pram a year older in a colour I'd prefer. So I promptly rang and asked if this could be changed over. I didn't see any issue, told them I didn't want the nappy bag, and basically would be a win for all, they get a sale and the pram company offload an older model pram. Well that's where the fun began. Next day I'm told no can't do that. I asked to cancel the order and said I'll buy the colour direct, was told too late already ordered, but go through their online helpline. I requested to the woman on the phone to again cancel the order, and same woman said yes, but you need to log it online. So I go online, they are going to keep 20% of purchase price!!! For what? So I phone back close to tears feeling quite overwhelmed. After going on about the 'free' nappy bag, she literally hung the phone up on me whilst I was talking. What's with the nappy bag??? So I go online through their so called "online support" which I'm pretty sure are the same people. So heres the thing, let it be known, they record everything without you knowing, use twisted language to confuse you, go on about legalities, when you've done nothing wrong. They don't openly disclose their terms and conditions. A day later I get a phonecall from the store owner who says they can change the pram over to what I wanted. It took all of 2 days to arrive. So my point of this review is, turn the piece of paper over before signing. They are nice in store until you try discuss a change and turn very unprofessional (hanging up on a customer is unacceptable). Tread carefully if you purchase through this shop. Honestly I'll never return. My request wasn't hard, but even if they couldn't do it, why hang the phone up on someone who is talking to you politly? I'm sure they'll respond to this comment with their twisted jargon saying you got what you wanted in the end so what's the issue. My issue is very poor after sale customer service and rude staff when you have an issue. I dread to think what may happen if I have an issue with the pram. For future I'll stick with their competitor, at lease you get a 14 day change of mind no questions asked refund, and you're not made to feel overwhelmed but welcomed.Similar opinion? I recently bought a cot from bubs and grubs and I am very happy with it. It was ready for collection very promptly and the price was awesome. Definitely recommend and would buy from them again!

Terrible customer service
I recently purchased a product from this store as a gift. The product was difficult to assemble and didn't appear on the box as it should. When batteries were inserted the product failed to start. My sister, who I gifted the product to, called the store to ask what her options were. She was told abruptly that all faults had to be logged online through their online portal. She asked if she could return to the store with the product to be examined. She was informed no, everything had to go online and once submitted she was to wait for a response ...Read more
via email - "dont worry" they informed her - "it's an easy process" - allegedly far easier than talking to someone on the phone. She submitted the form on Friday and waited. The only thing she received in response was a generic email telling her that it would take the team approx 24 business hrs to respond. I called the store on Tuesday at 1pm because my sister had heard nothing from them since their generic email. The woman I spoke to was quite rude and forceful at the beginning, again informing me that everything had to go online for "legal reasons" and if I replied to the email thread through their online portal someone would email me back "immediately" - FYI this also did not happen. Further to this she informed me she was floor staff and had no idea what the Help Desk does for faulty products - I assume this is because the Help Desk work out the back of the store front and maybe despite being 10 ft from each other they are not allowed to talk....who knows. Once I asked her to stop talking over the top of me and that I found it remarkable that I couldn't speak to someone, she calmed down. Again, I asked to speak with someone directly, someone from the Help Desk or the Owner, this was refused and she said "As I have already told you, you have no other option but to go through the HelpDesk, this is the only option for you." I responded that my brother in law was driving from the Sunshine Coast to Cannon Hill (2 hour drive one way) to have the issue dealt with. She remarked that she would need to check if someone was able to assist them as they hadnt been informed they were "allowed" to return to the store with the product. She then stated that most likely the product would need to be "dropped off" and left to be assessed and then my sister could return at another time to collect either a replacement, a repaired item or a refund. I informed the woman that this was entirely unacceptable, they live 2 hours away. I further informed her that I felt that would breach the ACCC laws around a reasonable time frame, if the product was found to be faulty. Fortunately they agreed to see my brother in law when he arrived. Again the store owner was abrupt and clearly annoyed at having to deliver after customer service. In fact I wouldn't at all be surprised if the only space I hear from the owner is through this review because the only time this business owner would actually care about speaking with me is once I have left my negative review - Cant wait to finally hear from you.Similar opinion?
