A Really Bad experience
Dont go near him many problems overcharged $420 became $770 all outgoings included he said trouble getting contracts just didnt want to post them,at time cant be contacted for days then took many messgaes to get the final settlement refund which i have never seen before in many a sale!! avoid avoid it cost more than anyone else i have used.Also known by the accc as i went to them!

there was extra charges from normal searchs due to my bank but this is always been covered by other conveyancers as its all outgoings when i have appointed them this was a scam!

Do not use Budget Conveyancing, MMConveyancing or any of it's affiliates
I suggest you stay away from this company. The person "[name removed]" or any of his other names always speaks with an attitude over the phone. He is hard to get in contact with and all his email correspondences are automated and impersonal. I even doubt he knows me by name or the address I'm purchasing. He processes jobs like it's a factory line. I feel like I have to always give him a nudge to get the process to move along.

There is a cap of 8 inbound calls upon signing up and any extra call made to their landline incurs an additional $10 per call! Just plain outrageous. Dealing with them made me sick in the stomach. You are paying a conveyancer to alleviate the stress work. All I can say is do not use this company.....I feel sorry for myself on choosing them...they are really good and quick to start however you will start to see the real color once they start handling the docs...Spelling errors to start with then the guy on the phone is so rude.......Thanks god its over dealing with them

You get what you pay for
I picked them because they were cheap and the guy on the phone assured me he could get the documents seen and done by the end of the day. I should have queried the fact when he answered the phone he didn't even tell me his name or company name, but didn't.
This was mid morning. By 10pm I was still awaiting a reply, and given contracts were to be signed in the morning this was not looking to end well. Searching for more info whilst waiting for a response, I stumbled on here to find that others had been duped, and even worse, by this company in its other trading name. So please be warned. I'm just lucky I hadn't been taken any further into the process and gotten burned even worse by them as others have. Do not choose Busget Conveyancing
They have the worst people I have ever seen and met. I have done my settlement with this company and faced a lot of problems. They dont reply to your emails and messages. You have to follow everything with them. And if you dont understand the process and ask them to repeat they will just tell you OK and hang up the phone. I faced these problems with their management. I strongly recommand to not to choose Budget conveyancing. They say $395 for settlement in the early stages but end of the settlement they will give you invoice for $700+. So irresponsible people. I will never advice to anyone to go with budget conveyancing.

Sharing a negative experience as a warning to others: Budget Conveyancing is in our view incompetent and irresponsible. The company fails to respond to their clients and produces substandard work.
In the process they –
- lost originals of our purchase contract, and after many emails, provided us with an electronic photocopy only, on which every second page was incorrectly photocopied
- did not respond to our phone calls and emails
- failed to detect discrepancies in the contract

Incompetent, Criminal. Do not use this company.
There is no option for no stars.
Quick communication to start, then the problems started. Simple sales transaction proved to difficult. Constant errors on calculations. Then no longer returned emails or calls. Tried in vain to get all of my documentation back from them. No luck. Had to engage another firm and start the whole process again.
To top it off, a few months later I receive demands from the ATO for stamp duty, on a property I was selling!
Take this as a warning do not use Budget Conveyancing.

Why can't I leave no stars!?
I will not waste time repeating what most other people have written. My comments on the [name removed] family review will paint the picture. I have never dealt with a ruder, more incompetent company in my whole life. We were selling my mother-in- laws unit and it involved Power of Attorney. As most everyone else has said, his spelling, his grammar, his punctuation and his professionalism is not what you hope for when dealing with such an important event. The way the worked is via email/fax/phone - documents arrived in the mail to sign and these documents were mailed back with all the information they needed. Absolutely the worst company!
Incompetent is the only word I can possibly describe with them,
Their phones are either engaged or not answered, messages and emails are never returned. after 4 months of settlement, they forgot to send documents, I paid their fees and now they are chasing me for payment. They cannot find any paperwork
They are now calling me a liar for payment because they claim that they never gave me their bank account details,
They then send me an invoice for the wrong property, wrong person,
now they are threatening to withhold my documents if I dont pay twice

I'd 1st like to make it clear - I have not dealt with Budget Conveyancing directly - However the vendor of the house I was purchasing used this company.
I used a trusted lawyer for my conveyancing. It costs extra, but worth it.
This is where my experience starts:
I've been looking for property for my new wife and I. I found the ideal home - good location, price is right and reasonably close to family.

This company is nothing short of shocking & should not be trading. Do not use Budget Conveyancing of Carlton!!! Nothing is as it appears, there is no [names removed] - total rip off & no property registration completed after 7 months of constantly trying to chase it up!!! The agreement with them is cleverly worded indeed. It will cost us as much as a regular solictor would have cost at the end of the day. The vendor only got the house money because we paid their lawyer directly thank God! There are fee's & then some more fee's. graph" of it by this "[name removed]" via email but the info on it is 8 months out of date even tho we had told them to ensure it would be correct (twice) over 2 months ago. They are holding it to ransome now - won't post it until we cough up another few hundred+ dollars we were never made aware of at any point. Budget price = Poor quality & service
One man handles everything. That's the reason for the fixed budget price including disbursement. However, how much you paid, how much you do get.
Very poor communiation, minimum explanation. You have to check every docs he
creates as there are mistakes. When I pointed out the mistake, he originally said he will revise the document, but it never happend. After two weeks past, he told me to amend by myself using a pen (seriously).

Not recommended
I used their service and it turned out a very bad experience.
Their initial respond was very fast until I sent all document for the transaction, I could not hear from them, sometimes they replied my emails to make me believe that the case was somewhere during the process. Finally I found out that I was fooled and they had done nothing. Just imagine if your purchase has to be settled within a time frame, how frustrated you would be.
It has been very hard to get in touch with them either by phone or email.
Not recommended at all.
