TPD Claim
I have been trying to access my TPD Claim from cbus. It was approved by their insurance underwriter TAL 3 weeks ago. The money was deposited in to my super account. I was not told be cbus that it had gone into my account I found out myself through the app. They have not transfered the money into my bank account. No one will give me answers. It took me 2 weeks to get the withdrawal forms they have had them for over a week now. No one will answer any of my calls or return my messages. My emails are not replied to either. Cbus Actually told me that the reasons they have bad reviews is because there memebers are constrcution worker and we all fill out the forms wrong. Evey time i call them i get a diffent anwer to the same question.

I had a claim in for me dead wife’s super that was willed to me as well as being sole beneficiary and Cbus did everything in there power to hold the money back ..IE lost certified documents, double ups of most documents as first one were supposedly lost. Weeks to reply to emails
Even after complaining to there. Complaints department was told to wait thirty days for a reply
Due to to the high number of complaints
This company should be investigated by the ombudsman

Nothing had happened
Nearly a year ago, I had called them to change my maiden name into my marriage name with my new address. They told me, I need to fill out a form and mail it to them which I did. Little did I know, they were still sending mails to my parents house which still got my maiden name on it. Can’t believe they never done anything at all.
Dishonest and Incompetent, Stuck in an internal loop of human waste
I am the executor of an estate.
I filled in all the forms and ID's and mailed in as requested.
CBUS case manager called me and left a message for me to call back.
Then Everything went BAD.
I call back through the call centre (3 times) it turns out they:
+ cant transfer me to case manager (cannot transfer calls)
+ Cant ID me (even though they can see the scan of the info I sent.)
+ Advised the case manager would reach out if there were any questions.

But there is a case manager team. + The "email that was sent to your case manager", suddenly became "email to the general case management team + The claim is "on hold" due to a CBUS error that they refuse to fix, or do anything other than send internal emails. + They call me because there is a problem and ask me to call back. I call back and am told they cant speak to me. I am stuck in a loop of they wont tell me what the problem is, or resolution times. I will spend the weekend getting documents recertified and sent in, and see if it works a 2nd time. Absolute disaster.
Defrauded
If the Ombudsman was actively coherent, this organisation would not exist.
My situation is exactly the same as most here. Withholding funds, factual manipulation, nil clarity, mismanagement, defrauding, just to name a few.
30+ years with this syndicate.
Have been trying to roll out, but it’s their money, obviously!!!!!

Been with them from when i started working as a teenager, trying to swap over to an income stream has been nothing but a disaster, customer service is non existent, get different responses and no answers as to what is actually going on with zero communication and reply's to our countless phone calls we are having to make. What a mess, so disappointed, thinking about rolling it over to another provider when it finally all gets sorted out.

Have been paying into this fund for 30 years and have turned 60 and have had a run around for a month, they hang up on you tell you wrong paper work and delay delay delay have put complaint in but they have no record of it, have reported to afca they have done nothing so pulling all my money out asap, do not trust these parisites this is not a reputable fund in my view, get out while you can

Horrible customer service.
After I transfer my account to another super fund
I contacted Cbus about the large amount of deduction, they kept me on hold for a very long time and never got any response so I called them back again and they kept hanging on me.
Stay away from cbus they take your money and you never be able to get it back.
Currently I am dissatisfied as I have been told my super was being processed when this was not in fact the case.
My issue is I was told my claim was being processed and would be in my account in 2/3 days. This information was completely inaccurate.
Incompetent at best
After doing paperwork to acess my superannuation and being told it would take 3 to 5 days we are now in day 12 with no end in sight just getting run around by incompetent staff

THREE DAYS to send a statement
Their website doesn't work - when trying to download a statement I get the following error: "Sorry, an error occurred on the system. Please try again later or call Cbus on 1300 361 784"
Call the number and it takes them THREE DAYS to email a statement because apparently someone has to manually password protect a document.

****ing hopeless.

I was with EISS before Cbus took over and I've been losing money ever since, I'm cashing in my money before its all gone.
