I got to work on welding up the huge workbench I was making for the shed. The rods we were using were 2.5mm @ 65amps & 3.0mm rods @ 80amps. We were running it nearly non stop for a few hours ...Read more

I have a weldskill 170 that when you try to strike an arc the overheat light comes on, It has done this every now & then, requires switching of & back on & is generally ok for awhile, however now it just keeps putting o/heat light on & is unusable. Anyone know how or where to fix this problem,as I would like to keep it going as it is an excellent welder when working, It has done very little work.

When you say you were literally dying to get it delivered, what do you mean? Did you die, in the end, or was it delivered in time?
