Brilliant piece of kit.

published

Should have bought one years ago. Welding was a bit rough to begin with until I learned the various parameters, angle, stick-out, speed, etc. Can easily adjust speed and current. Highly recommended.

Purchased in April 2021 for A$330.00.

Rippa little welder.

Great little welder. Light compact and so easy to use. Haven’t hooked gas up to it yet. But even gasless worked a treat. Was able to whip up a wood shed for home in no time.

Outstanding machine for it's size

published

Purchasing this little MIG I was a little sceptical at only a 120amp rating and the smallest MIG I could find, but I own other UNIMIG welders so I knew it should be a good unit.
Spent a week with it welding up 250m of cattle rail fencing at home for our horses and was surprised with it's performance.
1.6 - 2.5mm steel and not even turned up half way it welded like a champ with flawless welds all week without missing a beat or hitting duty cycle.
Excellent little welder that punches above it's weight and well worth the money.
Will definitely be using it for more work in the future

Way above expectations

Great machine that does far more than I expected. I haven't used gas before so found it a bit challenging to set up. Probably get some help in this regard but have to say the gasless function is excellent.

Easy to use

Great little unit ideal for small jobs on car restoration. I would like to see a little more info in handbook and possibly some how to on Youtube on setting tension etc. I also found I only needed low settings. Is there a gasless nozell?

This welder exceed my expectations, I was surprised by how low the settings needed to be and how easily the Viper was to set up, it does it's job with ease.

Really great welder especially for the price.

published

It welds great! Also good to know it has and gasless function although I havent used it with gas yet. In terms of gasless it gave a great finish which I was expecting from my past experiences with other Unimig machines. I purchased it mainly to do little odd jobs on my farm it does everything I need it to do. For $299 I think it was a perfect steal.

Purchased in October 2021 for A$299.00.

Hi Darren, unfortunately, 0.6mm Gasless wire is unavailable from us. Mild Steel would be the one to go if you are looking for 0.6mm.
