You run a business that changes its prices every day, yet you aren’t willing to share fuel prices over the phone? Utter nonsense I live 20 km from the nearest petrol station.

The shell 95 octane is 17 cents more expensive than shell 91 and shell 98 whopping 23 cents more. Whereas other petrol stations difference is 12 cents up to 20 cents. Plus the fuel quality is mediocre.

I'm so loyal to Coles with Flybuy/Insurance/super market/ Credit card... whatever they offer I use it.
I went to fuel up my tank just now unleaded in Vermont South cost $1.599/liter but in less 1km nearby same shell in Vermont South Shopping Center only 1.419/liter. Same Coles Express Shell only few hundred meters apart in such price different. just treat customer like idiot.

Coles Express Balwyn: unleaded $159.9. Minus 10 cents Flybuys discount and 4 cents docket = $145.9. United price at the same time: $138.9. Do the sums. The "discount" is off an inflated price; the oldest trick in the book. Misleading. I see that by submitting 4 reviews to ieatwords I can win a $20 Coles gift card. Might help pay for the petrol.

They are looting in the name of fuel. They are very very expensive. Don't go to them as they fool people in the name of points and all . They are robbing us.

I still shop at Coles but no longer buy petrol from express. 4 cent discount amounts to no benefit.

Even with a recent 10c per litre discount, it was still 14c per litre cheaper for me to fill up at United rather than Coles Express. Their fuel prices are quite high, highest by around 5 cents in my local area (Cairns). The only good thing about coles Express is that they do have some good in sotre specials, whih I do get sometimes, but I rarely, if ever, get fuel from them

For over a year and a half LPG prices have been constantly 10 cents a litre or more above their competitors price. This is everyday for 1.5 yrs. This is all Coles Express that I have seen in Melbourne. Not sure what their strategy is.

Yesterday bought petrol from Coles Express Bayswater. Coles Petrol $1.42 per litre on the other hand nearby (400m) Woolworths Petrol $1.26 per litre Please don't buy petrol from Shell Coles Express also tell others not to buy petrol from them. Always too expensive.

Recently we received an extra 10 cent discount from Coles however even with this and the normal 4 cent discount docket, I can still buy fuel at better prices from a number of other outlets and brands, Coles discounts are not worth the paper they’re printed on. This has become the normal situation with coles Express outlets in my area, I’m amazed Coles get away with discount dockets that don’t go close to making them competitive.

Few months ago i decided to get my car changed to lpg the morning it was booked in for the four thousand plus operation coles/shell lpg price was one dollar a litre wth i canceled the fit of lpg as fuel was only $1.23 (But Still To Dear) i only was saving 23 cents per litre now coles/shell have drop lpg to 85 cents but still to dear as other servos are 69 cents per litre is this a ploy so no more lpg as sale is going to be less. We have been scamed again no future thinking all cars should be on lpg its cleaner than other fuels and in Australia its abundant the motorest ripped off again i don't hear the acccc get to upset the toothless tiger paid by our taxes.

When I was new to Australia and not aware of how the petrol pricing cycle worked, I used Coles express a few times and felt chuffed when I saved 4c/l (using the fuel docket I got from Coles). Subsequently, I realised how much of a rip-off they are and have not used them in quite sometime. They are the first to raise the prices and the last to lower them (and very slowly). They never reach the bottom of the price cycle like others do. People should make use of the FuelCheck app to find the cheapest fuel close by and avoid Coles express.

If the petrol is so blatantly expensive - you have to wonder if there grocery prices are the same. I think I'll avoid their supermarkets instead. Hello Aldi, IGA and Woolies!

Why would anyone buy from Coles Shell service stations as they are always 10 to 15 cents dearer then competitors. Why bother using the lousy 4cent discount voucher. Go to Independents .

It’s constantly 10-25 cents more expensive then any other petrol station in the area. Don’t waste your time or money especially with the rubbish 5 cents per litre scan there running either.

Coles express is always the first service station to increase fuel prices and the last to reduce them, They are always between 3 and 24 cents more expensive than most of the other fuel outlets yet the useless ACCC never appears to take any action. The only way anything will ever get done on this front is for the public to boycott these service stations.
