The night i gave my cat comfortis she instantly became very quiet and lethargic. After a while i thought I'd pick her up and stood her on the floor only to find her back legs had gone. My Chihuahua cross age about 12 weighs 3.9 kg. Healthy, active qualified therapy dog used to have Panaromis tablet monthly. Changed to Comfortis Plus by company changing product available. I had used these tablets twice before. I have three rescue cats from the same litter and they are all girls. Eight months in age. Comfortis was given to my 23 lb female beagle on 9/14/17 at 530am- they gave her the 20-40 lb pill rather than the 10-20lb pill which I think has a lot to do with the issues she's having.... a few hours later she had violent vomiting that lasted off and on for 24 hours/ coinciding with yellowish diarrhea. My 9 year old dachshund suffered gran mal seizures over 2 days within 24 - 36 hours of taking Comfortis. This was surprising since she had previously taken Comfortis without incident, Nonetheless I firmly believe that the Comfortis caused the seizures. For instance, there could be a cumulative effect of this medication.
