My healthy 18 month cat had fleas. Took this pill and died 36 hours later. We found him dead in the basement. DO not use!!!!!

Have used Comfortis dog and cat and found them great. As self employed professional groomer, I recommend to my clients for pets that are frequently in the water and had no negative feedback. I use in the summer with worming tablet (as it doesn't cover worms) and don't have fleas on my pets, n the house or in my salon. Works for me.

I used this product on my 4 Jacks for the first time & they had no reaction to it at all! The dogs chewed it up in their meal quite freely! They stopped scratching after two days it was administered! Two weeks later I have found them scratching again!

I used Comfortis product for my dog and cats and they have ALL been violently ill within 45 minutes, it is scary to hold your 7.5kg dog while she heaves so violently that her body convulses & she vomits until all she can bring up is bile. It made all of my animals violently ill and took my little dog 24 hours to recover from the effect of this treatment.

I used this on my 5 month old German Shepherd and within 2 hours she was throwing up and very lethargic all day. I would never use this again. Running an Animal Rescue i will advise any of our adopters never to use this as they may possibly put their dog or cat at risk. Like giving them poison.

Our lab had two terrible episodes of hot spots when given Comfortis. It is like poison to him. We use Nexgard now with no problems.

We gave our pet dachshund a tablet and within 24 hours he was very ill, we rushed him to the vet and he had Pancreatitis a problem he has never suffered from. He died 12 hours later of a painful death.

Death my dog was dead within 24hrs she died the most horrible death i hope the manufacturers rot in hell.

I have used this product for 5 years with my small dog... She is about 12 lbs. I have used once a month for over 5 years, I have her Vet check her blood work from year to year so I know she is in perfect health. I have never had any trouble with this medication and highly recommend it!

This product killed a large puppy. After receiving, he grew lethargic within 4 hour,s then started vomiting and had severe diarrhea. A trip to the vet did nothing. He died. DO NOT USE

Do NOT USE this product! !! I gave this to my pomeranian and had to rush her to the emergency clinic! ! She was shaking, lethargic, twitching, she almost DIED!!! I called the company because others had claimed that they were very helpful and actually paid the vet bill...So not the case!!! They didn't seem to care at all that my poor pup is going through all of this and may never be the same!! When I asked if they were going to cover the bill she pretty much said no!!! Well that's awesome!!

My cat was in hospital 2 days after taking this poison. Pancreatitis and liver damage also jaundice. Sad to see in an otherwise healthy and loving loyal cat.
7 days have passed just hoping she can pull through. She is a fighter and has a will to live.
No thanks to comfortis.
Not worth the risk.
If you feel your pet has an underlying condition
Then this stuff can be lethal.

I gave the RX as prescribed by our vet for the first time after he was cleared with a clean bill of health at noon then by 7pm he let out an unusual whimpering cry and fell over dead!

Pancreatitis, diabetes and death within 1 week.

Otherwise healthy cat. Vet believes the tablet shocked her little system so badly it caused her organs to shut down.

Our cat has epilepsy and the itch caused by fleas seemed to set off a fit so the vet suggested we put her and our other cat on comfortis. They have been on it now for a month and my girl hasn't fitted once. Our two springers have been on a larger dose for about 18 months with great results. Of course it's not easy to administer but what medication is?

Was using this product for a long while and it killed fleas great until one day my dog had a seizure, I raced him to the vet and they had asked if he had been given flea tablet which I replied yes Comfortis and he said that would have been the cause. I've stopped using it and try alternate natural treatments.

I have been using this on my dog for around two years as previous product no longer was working.
Very happy with it, keeps the dog free of fleas. Never an issue while he is on it.
But.. the tablet is large and he certainly would never take it. The smell of it is revolting, smells like insecticide to me.
I do worry what it is doing to him if it smells so bad. But he suffers terrible allergies from flea bites and ends up with a mange infection. So I have to prevent fleabites for him at all costs.
Nonetheless if I crush it and put it with canned tuna he takes it then.

My two cats had been suffering from fleas for the last 3 months. I had tried multiple different brands/products, flea bombed the house multiple times, steam cleaned, vacuumed daily, washed clothing/linen/cat beds with no improvement what so ever. It was so bad that I was also being bitten daily by the fleas!
I spoke to my local vet and she recommended trying Comfortis tablets.
After 1 hour of giving the tablets to my cats they became very irritated and itchy (this is normal). Just days later and I could not be happier! No more fleas :D :D :D and I am no longer covered in flea bites! Can't recommend this product high enough! Thank you!

This Comfortis product killed one of my cats and made the other two vomit uncontrollably. DO NOT USE. When we called to tell the company, they called back and said that there must have been something wrong already with our cat. Right. Because the other two who were also vomiting uncontrollably must also have had some sort of previous condition. Do not use this product.
