The food ordered was over expensive, small portion, basically non edible . Delivery Hero just generates a computer message saying they were sorry! Bad luck customer !!!!!

2 consecutive days, 2 consecutive cancelled orders. No good reason given. Money still not refunded for either meal not delivered. Never using delivery hero again.

Customer service is hopelessly inefficient and rude.
Their call logs have no information whatsoever about the reason/result of the call and therefore they kept on assuming they already solved my issue. Had to keep on repeating my problem to them.
Waited a frustratingly long time for food to arrive due to mix-up between them and the restaurant.
Do not use this service.

I ordered two hours ago. Sick of waiting, I thought that I should read the reviews. I found this website and thought I'd better ring the restaurant. Luckily I did because they had no record of my order! If you are going to offer a service like this makes make sure that it works. First and last time I will ever use delivery hero. I should have gone straight through the restaurant rather than using this pathetic service

Wow. 4 hours of crap just to go to bed hungry. Tonight we ordered our food, got the confirmation text and then 2 hours later, nothing. We rang the restaurant who told us they didn't have our order. Delivery hero forgot to send it.
When the order came through the restaurant DH rang us and said it would be ready in 1/2 hour.
We waited in total 4 hrs only to ring DH who then said the restaurant advised that they had delivered it (they didn't). Completely disgusted at this company.

Really great when they give out vouchers and you live in an area that has many stores willing to deliver. App could use better filter and show delivery fee without having to click on the store and select more.

Ordered 4 times from Deliveryhero and they were quick to deliver and the food was delicious! It was not over cooked and it was very juicy. The deliverer is a funny bloke and is really nice and friendly. Will definitely order again!

Thought I'd try out DH for the first time using a promotional voucher. I placed a pre-ordered meal, received an e-mail of my order and a SMS confirmation. However come 8-8:30pm my order never showed up. I called the restaurant who said they never received it.

Apparently SMS confirmations mean nothing at Delivery Hero. Do not rely on these clowns for takeaway to be delivered. Still waiting on my refund - I wonder if it'll come with interest?

Didn't deliver any food, tried to call them up 10x on both numbers provided - no reply, emailed them - no reply.

was happy with the delivery.. it was on time with out any issues
will order again for sure..can add more restaurants as there limited options

No words can express how poor of a service this is. Orders cancelled, when you try and ring them no one answers, no emails responded to.

Hours after payment was confirmed and made, Delivery Hero contacted the Indian Restaurant I ordered from and had the order cancelled without reason. They wont take any phone calls or respond to my contact to organise a full refund. In order to get a refund I've had to lodge a payment dispute with Paypal to get money back. Delivery Hero deleted my complaint and 1000's of others posted on their social media sites complaining of the same. A complaint with Fair Trading was lodged. I'll be claiming for the cost of contacting their 1300 number 11 times on my mobile, on top of the order charge that they cancelled, too.

Coupon for new customers decided to invalidate itself, couldn't use again despite my original order not going through.
Food was sub par. I was asked if an increase of 30 mins was ok for delivery and I agreed as long as the food arrived hot. Which it didn't. I'm not surprised. Oh, and it came nearly 2 hours after the original scheduled 1 hour and then 30 minute extension.

On ya delivery ripoff artists. Maybe check what pathetic quality restaurants you use before lumping below par food onto us. Screening process please?

I have used delivery hero 2 times now. Both experiences are not impressed. The first time, after 1 hour of wait for my order, delivery hero called me and said the restaurant is not open today, so I had to find something else. The second time, after 1 hour of wait, delivery hero called and said the restaurant is doesn't have any delivery drivers available at the moment so it will take another 40 mins.

I probably wouldn't use it again unless it's having discount or some promotions.

Menulog works better for me, it never lets me down.

Have been using delivery hero every now and then for the last 6 months. Never had any issues except once when delivery was a little late but I had been informed by the restaurant the driver was stuck in traffic. No complaints here, always lots of choice and food is always great.

I left my 1 star review for Rib Runner (factual not emotional), yet it has not been posted via Delivery Hero despite seeing other higher starred reviews approved since my order date . After 40 minutes of eating my chicken burger, a slight taste of the chicken burrito and a few wedges w/sour cream i experienced horrific abdominal pains closely followed by severe vomiting and gastro. I phoned Rib Runner re the situation yet no apology or acknowledgement was made on their behalf, nor any resolution offered. I have never been this severely ill from takeaway in the past and was in good health before consumption of meal. I will not be using delivery hero or Rib Runner as a result and will and have advised others against it also. Appalled!

Charged twice for same delivery, sent bank statements and got stonewalled. Don't have the energy to keep sending emails and providing more and more information. Delivery Hero please check your own records to see the same billing twice within seconds of each other with only one delivery....
