In the space of two orders Delivery hero has now taken over $90 of my money, with no food delivered.
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice it's unacceptable.
Someone needs to shut this business down.

Ordered through the website last night with an estimated time of 45 mins for delivery. We received a text message just after meal was due saying that out order had been cancelled because their "machine was broken" - no further explanation. Tried calling the restaurant directly with no answer. Then called DH customer service. The lady on the phone laughed at me and said they don't check up on specifics with the restaurant, they just pass on the message. She also said that the message could have been left some time ago but they hadn't checked. Very poor customer service and very hungry customers including two young children. There are plenty of other similar services that are excellent. Do not use delivery hero.

Don't use them. Don't deliver. Poor service. Don't seem to care when their restaurants don't deliver. Left extremely wanting, and hungry, by them. Zero, not hero.

I placed an order via delivery hero and decided to make a change in timing. This was 4 hours before the stipulated timing. 30 minutes past the delivery timing i called delivery hero again to ask the status of my order and apparently it was not followed up for god knows what reasons. The person on the phone told me that they will call the restaurant and that they will call me ASAP with regards to my order. That call never came and i called them 20 minutes later to find out that the restaurant was busy (duh) and that it will take another 45 minutes to get my food. Thank you for ruining my night.

The iPhone app is easy to use. Food arrived fresh and in a timely manner (within 30 mins). Didn't have to worry about the restaurant not understanding my order or misspelling my address. Will definitely use again, especially given that I didn't have to leave the couch until the food arrived!
So much easier than having to talk to someone over the phone!
The iPhone app was a bit buggy when I tried to accept the Terms and Conditions, but it all worked out in the end.

We made an online order at 5:50pm. had 2 emails and a phone call confirming the order would arrive at 7:10pm. At 7:50pm we made a ph call to Delivery hero who called the us back to say that the driver had left and if hadn't called us in 5 minutes to say where he was then we should call them back. At 8:10pm we called the restaurant directly who said they hadn't made our food yet because they got the time wrong or something and it would be ready in about 30-40 minutes...so I told them to forget it. Thanks for absolutely nothing. We are still without dinner and annoyed.

Tried for the first time tonight. After getting two text messages and two emails confirming the order was placed with the restaurant an hour later I hadn't received any food. When I checked my phone Delivery Hero had tried to ring me to say the payment hadn't processed so they hadn't placed the order with the restaurant. I checked my Pay Pal account who confirmed the payment had in fact gone through. Long story short I ordered directly with the restaurant and Delivery hero have told me they will refund the money. I won't bother again. Will stick with eatnow or eatibility who I have had no problems with
at least they tried to ring to sort the order out, unfortunately I left my phone on silent so didn't get their message

Not even worth 1 star, I ordered a pizza through this website; but my pizza didn't arrive. 1 hour later i rang up the pizza store, thinking it was their fault, but found out they never got the order. Now i'm more hungry then i was before, don't use this if you don't want to be hungry.....

Product doesn't function

It was so simple, All i did was select a resturant, select my meals, and pay.
Payment was also great because i dont have a credit card and didnt have cash on me so i just used Paypal which wouldnt be possible if i directly called the resturant.
I ordered 1 Family pizza and BBQ chicken wings,which all arrived 25 mins after placing the order.
I definetly recommend it !!

I can only echo previous complaints leveled against Delivery Hero with regards to their billing system. In short, it's horribly broken. I only recently found out that they double charged me for a single order. Amazing that in this day and age that vendors won't spend the money required to have payment gateways properly integrated into their systems.

I've used some of their competitors (eatnow & menulog) and frankly with the services being identical there's not much reason why you should use Delivery Hero. Stick with another vendor until they fix their payment system.

We had ordered the food to arrive after our kids were in bed, so we could enjoy the food. It arrived at least an hour early- when we were trying to get the kids ready for bed.
The delivery man had no idea what time the food was supposed to be delivered.
Out quiet night with delivery food was ruined- will be calling the restaurant direct in future.

Food was delivered an hour early.

Lot easier to phone through to restaurant yourself.
Delivery Hero charge the restaurant for the service.
They appear to just list different establishments trying to get business. When they phone the order through it comes through from an overseas number,
They listed my restaurant without my knowledge, then they try to say how great they are, then people complain because they do not get the order

Bad service

Just received the order. A lady sent it in at exactly the time I requested. Very good, like it. I have not tasted the food yet, but would rate excellent for the delivery service. Would definately use it again. Plus, I used a coupon which saved me 10 dollars

Tried to use the site, but wouldn't let me use a voucher, not sure why, probably a small technical thing. Tried to contact them and it took a few days to get back to me. Usually I wouldn't care, but I didn't really want to wait 48 hours for food to be delivered.

Didn't work

Ordered from wood and chimney. Had the parma chicken was so nice but the topping was [censored word removed] poor really let the yum chicken down heaps. The aussie pizza cooked to perfection but again just lacking in flavour. Parma came with ok chips but instead of the [censored word removed] salad a couple of pieces of steamed vegies would have been preferred.
Came when ordered A+ for that. like I said almost awesome just lacking extra flavour

I was charged 3 separate times for the same order. I contacted the restaurant and they said they received only 1 payment. Tried calling delivery hero numerous times but the automated helpline just kept disconnecting my calls because they were 'too busy'. I finally left a message on the helpline recording though didn't hear back. I then sent an email...still nothing. Do not bother ordering through these guys. I paid $102 for my $34 order and no-one has helped me despite numerous contact attempts. I suppose I have to just face the money loss though will never use this 'service' again. Menulog is far better. I should have just ordered through them!
