We purchased two cases in 2017 and since then they've done three long international trips (total around 7 months) and a dozen or more domestic trips - which was a pretty good innings. The side handle broke on one in mid 2020, which we ignored as I no longer had the receipt and thought it would be a hassle to get fixed, and then the top handle snapped on the same suitcase over Christmas 2020. I sent an email to the address on their website on around 28 Dec, they forwarded it to the Australian rep who asked me to send photos. I also said that I'...
Read mored like to replace the handles on both cases just in case the second suitcase has the same problems. The first week in the new year four new handles arrived, free of charge. And even more impressive, the suitcases have been designed to be easy to repair, which is a rare but important quality these days - 30 mins and we had replaced the handles on both cases. They have been great, sturdy cases - and I look forward to when we can take them on more great trips.

Purchased 2016, first and only use - early 2022. Will be the last.
Unsuitable design, hardly fit-for-purpose: The case is "deeper" towards the lower third, allowing ALL the contents to drop down into this part of the case. Have tried various packing methods, to no avail. With the entire load/weight having dropped, it is then near-impossible to manoeuvre the case. Lifting it up is a nightmare as the weight is all at one end of the case - the balance is greatly out of kilter.
The zip: around one corner, it does not zip over easily/smoothly - it ...

Bought a Helium Shadow 3.0 when I was in Macy Seattle in Sept 2016 which has a 10 year warranty to the product. Now the seems to the zip of the bag is coming off and the bag can't zip up and tangles with the thread on the zip. Emailed on the 19 July 2018 and 27 July 2018 with an auto acknowledgement from Delsey website and till to date 25 Aug 2018 no one has gotten in touch with me. As according to [name removed] who reviewed on 1 March 2018, there is no contact in Australia or 1800 number which consumers could get in touch with altogether. So Aussies, avoid purchasing a Delsey as you will not be able to claim a warranty on your product

I had the same experience as the first reviewer. I bought a 3-piece Delsey set with 5 year warranty. One piece has a broken handle, zip and TSA lock, and the other 2 pieces have issues with their zippers and TSA lock.
I contacted Delsey online and received a reply from an agent in Singapore called [name removed]([name removed]@delsey.com.sg)
She's asked me for copies of my receipts and photos of the luggage. Then she confirmed the product would be repaired under warranty. She then asked me (on 12 March 2018) to send my postal address in M...
Read moreelbourne so she could post the spare parts. I did that and haven't heard from her since! I've sent her 5 emails since then, and lodged another warranty claim on the delsey website. But I only receive an autoreply acknowledging my email has been received but no one has contacted me from Delsey. I believe the company is doing this on purpose. If we don't have strong consumer protection laws in Australia, they know they can get away with it.- 25 reviews

I had a Delsey bag damaged and it needed a new TSA lock. Try and find who imports Delsey into Australia because I can't. I received a reply from Singapore once and they asked for copies of Receipt, serial number, etc which I sent. over a wee later, nothing. I contrast this with Samsonite who have always sent me spare parts with no questions asked every time a airline breaks my bag,
No contact in Australia, no 1800 number to call, no help if you damage your bag in Australia. Don't buy Delsey !!!
Bought the suitcase on 9 September 2017 and it lasted one flight from Boston to UK. The suitcase itself is fine it is the locking mechanism that is not fit for purpose. The suitcase has closing tags that clip into a combination lock. Both were damaged and the company tried to blame the airline for what is an extremely poor design. I have now downgraded my opinion of Delsey to below average given both the product and the lack of customer service.

I also have problems contacting Delsey Australia about warranty. Does anyone know their Australian phone number? They do not reply to emails, unfortunately.
