I have had this drill for a few months and it has worked perfectly. Love the sturdy attractive design and the general feel of it. Ample battery power and a ton of features.
Honestly, I would rather have this tool than a Rolex watch.

The DCD796 is the next version of the drill. It came in a kit with impact driver DFC887 from Bunnings.
The DCZ266TI kit came with a 6Ah battery and charger
It appears solid and well made, but the battery is ridiculously heavy - more than the weight of the drill - making the small battery drill heavier than my old corded drill. I would have preferred 2 3 Ah batteries.
There is small but noticeable chuck wobble. I tried the hammer drill setting and the chuck undid itself. The drill is quite noisy.
Dewalt has a 30 day no questions asked return and I intend to replace it with a Makita kit.
I would not recommend this product.
