Scams - not worth it
If I could give this -10 I would.
These people are SCAMMERS.
They overcharged for TOLL and TAPE. Both services never used. Point of origin and destination is 15mins max 20mins on main road from Preston to reservoir. I had to pay on the spot otherwise they wouldn’t unload the last couple pieces of furniture. When I asked the driver and [name removed] how they came up with That amount the couldn’t even work it out. The said I have to email and the full invoice will be sent with how charges are worked out. ” who works from home (which I don’t give a damn about and have no idea why they even told me that) Refuse to refund back my money. Driver forgot their things which we had to drive back to our old place so they could pick up their things. Over charged me on TIME as well when it was meant to be per minute not hour. [name removed] the booking person is the worse to deal with. Unhelpful. Hanged up when I complained about the charges. Avoid at all cost. SAVE your money.Similar opinion? Ended up costing way more than it was supposed to
Not good - we hired them for packing and for moving; the packing wasn't done very well at all and was significantly more expensive than it was supposed to be because they packed way over the top; spending much more time packing than it should have, and using way more materials than necessary. We had hired more than enough packing materials (we hired enough for a 4 bedroom house and we only have a 3 bedroom house) and they ended up using significantly more so that we ended up having to pay to use their materials (e.g. a mini zip lock back with 3...Read more
plastic buttons, a bag of tea bags, 3 pens, 4 rice crackers in a zip lock bag - all of these ended up being wrapped in 5~6 bits of paper each, boxes mostly filled with paper and air ... the whole house was done like this). We also paid for a third person to help with the packing and he wasn't very good, must have been is his first day or a temp job or something - he didn't seem to know what to do. During the move they also damaged quite a few different things (albeit mostly minor, except for breaking the hose on the washing machine); of course you don't get to notice all of these things on the actual day of the move when they make you sign off to say nothing was damaged ... I emailed them about all of this, nothing happened, apparently the packing was justified and it took me too long to tell them about the damages - of course it did, we're still unpacking! I thought they would be good value, but they weren't in the end - definitely going with a more reputable / more serious moving company in the future.

Efficient movers finished the job quick
I booked a 5 ton truck for moving to a new house in the suburbs of Tarneit. My family of four got enough items to go in 26 boxes though luckily we had very less furniture as we always preferred to live in semi furnished homes. So we had only a couch, three beds, some racks and shelves, TV and other few miscelleanous home items. Anyways based on our inventory list the truck and two men team from Diana removals was perfect for our needs. The team completed the job taking only about 3.5 hours and deducted our deposit from the final bill.

Thank you Diana Removals
On 30 December 2022, it was 43 degrees Celsius and we're moving the contents of a 3 bedroom house 100km! The men were fantastic and we're running up and down the ramp to the truck, packing everything safely and efficiently. Our experience with Diana Removals is excellent. A long day with gruelling conditions and the guys didn't stop. Great job, thank you!

The work was quick
The work I saw the guys do was done with utmost professionalism and politeness. The guys were keeping me posted on their status so I can give my thoughts on how valuable and fragile the items were, helping them take their packing productively. Our small truck was filled well without any items hanging loose. The whole move to New place at Surrey Hills was done in three hours beating my assumption.

Do not book this company
Our experience echos all the negative experiences above. We recently moved with this company and it was the worst and most expensive moving experience I have ever had. Stay away!

If I could give negative stars, I would
I was moving a one bedroom apartment and had everything ready in boxes, they just had to dismantle the bed and sofa. The move was a complete disaster. They took so long (9 hours!) to move just down the street. They could not figure out how to assemble an IKEA which is the most basic of all furniture, ended up doing it on my own. It was obvious one of the men was new, he had no clue on what he was doing. I regret using this company as I paid so much for no reason. It just seemed like they picked up two random men from the streets and told them t...Read more
o do the job. It was very unprofessional. In trying to assemble the sofa, they leaned on it with their head and got all their sweat on it. They used their packaging material despite me having my own and then charged me without even asking if I wanted them used. It was a very horrible experience and I could've done a better job on my own with my friends.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Avoid this company
I made the mistake of using Quote Request - Removals Compare thinking I would get a lot of quotes from reputable removalists. But it appears to be a front. They all have similar names - Diana Removals, Olivia Removals, etc. But it is really just a sales function that gets contractors with their own truck to do the work. Diana Removals gets paid a commission.
We chose Diana Removals. We ordered a 16 tonne truck believing it would be big enough (3 bedroom house). It wasn't - we have a lot of stuff. The removalists told us they probably co...Read more
uldn't take everything - but they couldn't help us get another truck. The job ended up going for 12 hours - both removalists worked hard and so did my husband and I. But we didn't know it was going to take so long because we haven't moved in 17 years. But one removalist kept getting angrier and angrier. He stopped work an hour before to demand payment. But he wanted to add toll fees when there were no tolls from our old house to our new. But the real kicker was when he left. He knocked out part of our fence and our neighbours. But blamed my husband. I've contacted Diana Removals and they won't do anything because we took longer than 72 hours to complain! But not only that because the truck couldn't take everything and we didn't get everything out of the house. It almost stuffed up settlement the next day. We had to call another trucking company to remove everything and they came in 2 hours. It saved us and the people were pleasant and friendly. They also didn't break anything or charge us fanciful tolls!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Do not use this company
I booked through Diana Removals online and was told that it would cost $95 per hour and $45 for petrol and then they charge by the minute after the first two hours but since it was a small job should only take about 2.5 hours. They turned up with a very small truck and three men even though l was told l would only get two men so l reluctantly agreed to the extra man for $55 per hour. I had a small unit and was only moving 15 minutes away. The truck was too small so two trips were required and took 5.5 hours and just before they had had unloaded...Read more
everything with some of my more expensive items still on the truck l was presented with a bill of $1100!!!!!!!! When l said that l didn’t have enough money as l had paid $100 deposit so was only expecting a bill of around $400 the head guy told me that he would go and close the truck and take the remainder of my furniture. Fortunately my brother paid the bill for me. I booked through Diana Removals the truck had Shell Removals on the side and the bill was from Rose Removals!!!!!!!! Do not use this company as they are rip off merchants and I would not recommend them to anyone.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Read the small print even though it isn’t clear!!!
I ordered a 5 tonne truck at $95 per hour but it wasn’t quite big enough and we had to make 2 runs. Took 5 hours all up to take to a storage facility 2.1km away. But I was charged for a 6 tonne truck even though I didn’t have one, at $120 for the same time of 5 hours. How does that make sense? Surely it should be on the time taken for the actual truck size you have. Read the small print under payments and clearly ask them for charges if you need to do multiple trips. Always get a size truck bigger then you need.
