Sorry I can't offer any constructive ideas.
Sounds like what my one did. the service guys said it was the mother board in the electronics and part with labour
would be close to new price. Against my principles it went to the tip to be replaced by another brand.
This seems to be a too common occurrence which I have expressed to Electrolux who import dishlex dishwashers

Very unusual if making a noise when switched off. I would first check that the filter and large filter plate in the bottom of the dishwasher are seated correctly. If this is not the problem, pull the dishwasher out from under the bench and run it again in that position, which may allow you to get closer to the noise and identify the culprit. If then there is no noise it could have been either of the hoses or electrical connection cable resonating against something. Hope these suggestions may help.

Hi George.
Dishlex is part of the Electrolux Group and manufactured in Australia until 5 years ago. Electrolux manufacture in Europe, USA, and China and one report said Dishlex was made in Europe. Their basic instructions are printed in 32 languages so there you have it. Robt3.

The dishlex dishwashers are manufactured in Poland

Did you get a plumber to install it if you did call them if not I would get one to come out to see what your problem is don’t try to fix yourself due to warranty let a professional look at it and they will tell you if it’s faulty

Hi Shah, I was googling same question tonight. The anti flood button activated when we had a blocked drain. I reset it following this advice; https://www.justanswer.com/australia-whitegoods/6n0ua-fix-anti-flood-device.html

Did you leave it finish the cycle? I found out myself, that, if I open it before finishes the cycle, the next load won't start. I turn it on and leave it to complete the previous cycle and Then it is ready to be set on for the next cycle. I hope I was a bit helpful to your answer.

Hi there! I've moved into a new house with this dishwasher installed. I've tried a few cycles and there is always little buts of food left on plates. Also there is a small pool of water in the white little sink, which is under the silver grill and grey filter. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for tips.

Hi, I changed to a different cycle, changed my dishwashing tablets and most importantly kept the filter clean. I also deferred to a dishwasher repair person to check it out. I’m not an expert just a consumer who tried a few things out themselves. If you’re not sure calla repair person. NB: I’m just a consumer

try cleaning the spray arms,
it is normal for dishwashers to leave water at the bottom
try powders and different tablets as well. I recommend Fairy or Aldi.

Yes it should. There are a couple of brackets with screws under the top. Take these screws out and then slide the top to remove it.

Have you tried looking at the water taps underneath your sink? There could be a tap / water flow stopper connected that is stopping the water from coming through if it’s brand new? Check other places that water would enter the dishwasher as it may be blocked somehow. Also, check if it’s under warranty still and call dishex.

Hello, I've just bought a DSF6106 and installed it correctly. Very easy as all plumbing was ready in our new house. I've just put the dishwasher on it's first cycle and it sounds like it's running and water is being drawn but inside is still dry and nothing is actually happening. If anyone knows what's going on, please let me know. Thanks :)

is there any water leaking under the unit or anywhere else? if you're going to run a test cycle, try the 30 min with no detergent. see the instruction manual about that.

Claudine
Claudine

Hi Colin, thanks for writing. There is no water leaking at all. I checked the tap before I attached the dishwasher hose and it was working fine. I tried the thirty min quick cycle and it sounds like it should be working but no water is being drawn in at all. I check the online instruction manual and even followed the installation instructions that came with the machine. Am I missing something??

Ron G
Ron G

If the level of the drain hose is too low the water will continue to drain and machine cannot fill to wash. The drain hose should rise to near the top of the machine before continuing to draining point. You said you checked the tap for a sustained flow before installation. I can't think of anything else just now.

Turn the water tap off, unscrew the inlet hose fitting and check that the filter is not blocked. Make sure there are no kinks in the inlet or outlet hoses or that they are not squashed up against the back or side of the unit. Turn the water tap back on, make sure that the door is closed properly, select the program and press start. If that doesn't help contact Electrolux to find your nearest service centre. Good Luck.

Do I need to fit a p.o.m valve on the water inlet hose?

Hi Dan you don't have to fit one, I did with mine just because they are easy to fit and if I ever needed to service or replace my dishwasher I only have to shut the valve and disconnect my washer.

depending on how many flashes the light does will determine the fault- they are listed in the manual
1 flash is water not on.
2 flash is unit not draining
3 flash is the anti flood device activated (you have a leak in the bottom of unit.
If it flashes 4 times i have found the air pressure switch to be the problem(it will have debris stuck in it)

Dont know has it been plumbed in properly is your drain hose twisted that would be the first thing to check

Has there been a dishwasher attached to the pipes before???? You might need to actually put a hole into the PVC pipe that you attached the hose of the dishwasher to under the sink, as the holes are NOT pre-drilled. So therefore the dishwasher can't drain. It's a trick that I learnt 30 years ago when we shifted into a new house. Good luck. V

Maybe check your main drain is not blocked or clogged up, but I would call a repairer if there is nothing obvious.

Side panels at the lower left and right corners where the hinges are will most likely need bending outwards to allow free movement of hinges. Common problem with this model, they were built with weak sides.

I have mine set on either 2 or 3, 3 seems to dry the dishes good without opening the door at the end of a cycle. I use Aldi rinse aid and if I put the setting 4 my unit spills out water and foam.
