Excellent service, high quality products and installation
Excellent customer service. Professional, friendly staff. The staff did an amazing job of installing my Holland blinds and curtains in my new home. I cannot recommend Dollar Curtains and Blinds Ararat highly enough!

Great product
We had 2 lots done through the Cobram store. Great service and the products have made such a difference to our home. We had outdoor alfresco blinds installed and they make such a difference. Our other external window blinds look amazing. Thank you.

End Product Great Quality. Customer Service Simply Awful
We have had 5 rooms of block out s-wave block out curtains and 9 external fabric block out awnings installed with the total cost being about $10,000. I have to say that the end product, when it is finally installed is great quality. However, engaging with staff is so absolutely appalling that it completely detracts from the product to the point where I highly recommend simply going elsewhere.

urtaining right up against the ceiling. This was done with 3 of our rooms, however, errors were made in both my kids bedrooms that resulted in two completely odd lengths for each room. I immediately phoned the store in Fyshwick and was told by their store manager that their regional manager would need to attend, which was booked in. The installer, close to 5pm advised that he couldn't finish my job today as he had a dinner booking. When I explained that this would mean he was leaving our front lounge room with absolutely no curtaining and in full view of the street with our large television completely visible and that this was a safety issue, he simply explained that its his birthday and he needs to go, but he offered to come back two days later on the Saturday to complete the job. Once again, I phoned the Fyshwick store and the manager arranged to have installers attend the following morning to complete the install. It was incredibly unprofessional of the installer to not finish the job and I was told by the store manager at the time that he was expected to complete my installation that day. I was also told by the store manager at the time that the paperwork in relation to my order with all the measures was "in a complete mess." Based on this, I am not surprised that errors were made. About a week later the regional manager attended our home and went about viewing our incorrectly made curtains with an air of skepticism and disdain. He tried to convince my husband to accept the curtains stating that we should be happy as "at least you have curtains" and he remained skeptical that we had asked for wall-to-wall curtaining, completely dismissing the three rooms where the correctly curtaining had been installed, which he viewed. He left the house without advising when he would be in touch and leaving my husband with the belief that he did not plan to remedy matters. I phoned the store manager who's only response was to repetitively say to me that "I dont know what to say to you..." I would have thought as a store manager she would have more training, perhaps in how to engage with customers when issues arise. We lodged a complaint with head office, but never heard anything back. The regional manager some days later sent me an email stating "The Measurers have commented that the sizing is normally a requested item. In saying that - dcb does not want to get involved in a he said, she said situation." My instant thought was yes that is exactly what we requested and really given the evidence in terms of the three correctly made curtains installed in other rooms in our house, there is really no 'he said, she said.' It is ridiculous to even try and convince us of this and no one would ever select to have 3 rooms wall to wall and two identical kids rooms done in two different odd lengths. No apology was offered by this regional manager. Overall, it was so unprofessional and simply just such poor form from someone who is meant to be representing their Brand. Weeks later the correct curtains and the outside awnings were installed. I explained to the installers that given what had happened inside that I was very concerned that the awnings would have errors in manufacturing as well, which unfortunately they did! Once again, the two kids bedrooms had issues in that the rods that the awnings slide on were too short. I was advised that it was an easy fix and that longer rode had been ordered already. On the day that the correct rods were meant to be installed, which is during the Covid19 isolation period I might add, we waited for the installer to attend the home. At about 11am a phone message was left stating that the installer had attended the house and had tried to call me a number of times but that I was not home and not answering my phone and that he has "moved on to other jobs." I immediately phoned back and was once again met with distain and skepticism. The customer service person flatly refused to even hear my statements that we had been home all day and that I had no missed calls at all to my mobile. Once again I was just met this time with repetitive "im just relaying what I was told." Again no apology was offered. So at the moment I am waiting another week now for the installer to return to finish the job on the awnings and I am simply so fed up with the experience had with DCB - the constant skepticism and disdain by which you are spoken to and the continual lack of any apology. Plus every conversation had just feels like a battle with them. Its almost as if they don't realise their livelihoods depend on not just providing great quality products but good customer service! They have lost all future work from us, which was the include about 15,000 worth of more window furnishings at home and at our office. Given the attitude by the Fyshwick staff, their regional manager and the lack of any response from head office, I doubt they'd even care. So, buyer beware - if you end up paying a bit more, its still worth going elsewhere! Wish we had chosen Watson Awnings and Blinds instead.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great Service from Dollar Curtains ...
We have just had new sunscreen and block out blinds installed, thanks to Dollar Curtains & Blinds in Pakenham.
From the beginning, with the consultant coming out to measure the windows through to the installer coming out to put the blinds up, the service has been excellent. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending DC&B Pakenham to anyone who wishes to get new blinds. Excellent.

Went into the Epping store and was shown all the options to replace existing drapes, given some very good advice. Made an appointment to have consultant come out and do a measure and bought many samples to see how they would look in the home. Felt very confident with selection. Drapes arrived within the scheduled time and the person who installed the blinds was very professional and took real pride in his job. Very happy with the selection made.

I rang the store and they made an appointment and came to my home and measured the one window which I wanted to have the outside blind fitted. The female who came brought with her all the samples of materials, and I chose one from the samples she had. She had a laptop with her, and made all the appropriate details and printed them on the spot and gave them to me. I needed to pay the full amount before the blind was installed. I did this 2 days before and a male came at the appointed day and time and fitted it to the window. Expert advice, professionalism and operate the outcome.
The store set up made it very easy to find our perfect products. The store personnel were extremely knowledgeable and helpful with their advice. My curtains look amazing!
I am super happy with DCB Eltham. Measuring service was quick, accurate and VERY helpful. Sean was spot on with color suggestions. In store, several women helped with fabric choices, until I found just the right one. Installation was quick and perfect! Mario was such a lovely fella to have in your house. Could not have been more helpful. Everyday I am looking at my curtains (3 bedrooms) and roller blinds in living space and I am pleased with the outcome. THANK YOU!!

My House Has Been Transformed!
I cannot fault my experience with DCB Epping. From the very beginning, everyone i have interacted with has been so helpful and responsive. They will do anything they can to deliver for their customers and even though they were so busy, i always felt like i was their priority. As a business, that is not easy to achieve. DCB installed s fold sheers with block out lining for my 42sq home and their quote was substancially less than other quotes without me having to compromise on quality. When it came to installation, the team were so respectful of my home and took the care to get the job done to a high standard. I am beyond impressed and so grateful they were recommended to me.

Poor service
Blinds measured incorrectly, but notified of error day of measurement.
6 weeks later blinds arrive only to have 5 out of 7 blinds incorrect sizes.
4 weeks later 3 blinds arrive back correct but 2 are missing.
A week later they arrive and organise a time for them to come and fit them only to find they have arrived 1/2 hour earlier - fortunately for us, someone was home unexpectedly.
BTW all blinds had to be paid for prior to fitting, maybe if we didn't have to pay until complete may have had things move a bit quicker.
Fitter was very apologetic but everything that happened was out of his control.

Excellent service from lovely staff.
The staff at Echuca Dollar Curtains and Blinds provided excellent, professional service. They asked appropriate questions to ascertain my needs and then made suggestions. I was comfortable telling them if I did not like their ideas and we kept working together until every window in our newly built home had been covered. Installations went smoothly and when a minor adjustment was required they returned promptly and were obliging. I would highly recommend their services.

Quoted & delivered without hassles.
I visited the local store first, and I was even able to bring the sample products home first. Staff were all friendly, inc. the ladies who came to do the quote which was reasonably priced. Delivered as promised (i.e. prior to Xmas).
I was also looking for an outside type of blind but that was quite pricey.

I've never dealt wth the Sunbury store but have on several occasions with the Keilor Road, Niddrie store. If it's not inconvenient for you, I can't recommend more highly using the Niddrie store. Ask for Bridgette or Rosa. They're a great team of professional and lovely people.
